And God Created Woman.
And She was Good.
And she had two arms, two legs and three breasts.
And God asked woman what she would like to have changed about herself.
And she asked for her middle breast to be removed.
And it was good.
And she stood with her third breast in her hand
And asked God what should be done with the useless boob.
And God created man.

Why, hello again! I would like to accept my spot. :)

Name:
Isabelle ((Isabee)) Sarabella
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Looks:
Image
Isabee has a very unique sense of style. She can pull off just about any outfit, whether it be extremely dressy or super-casual. She normally goes for dressy when she is in front of people, but loves comfort when she's alone. She is quite small for her age, being only 5 feet tall, and has a very slender build. Her eyes are a gorgeous forest green, and they sparkle when she is happy, excited, or nervous.
Personality:
Isabee is very different from her sister. She is the "good one", always doing as asked by authority. She feels she needs to be there to protect her sister, because a lot of unfortunate things happen to the twins. She is very verbal, and most of her insults are from her mouth. She has a short temper, and when she gets angry, she can't control herself. She is very open about her feelings, but she will try to hide them. She is very easy to read, but not very predictable. Isabee is an extremely fast person, being as small as she is, and is quite strong for her size. She won't let any harm come to her sister, and refuses to leave her sister. She is extremely creative and musical, and is an amazing singer.
Family:
Her parents, Caroline and Edward, never favored either of their daughters above the other. They loved both equally, or so they said. Isabee always felt that her sister got more than her, but didn't get jealous, surprisingly. She loves Sophia to death.
Worst fear:
Being alone
Other:
She is very good at seeing what other people are planning. She has always known what was coming for her and Sophia's birthdays, although Sophia doesn't know. She is able to "see" what her opponent is going to do in battle, giving her an advantage.

She wonders "Why?" Does anyone ever hear her when she cries? This is the dark before the dawn. The storm before the peace. Don't be afraid, the seasons change.

I'm interested in joining if you don't mind. It's been a while since I RPed and I wanna make some friends here.

Name: Tempest
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Looks (description, pic, or both no anime): Blond, short hair, blue eyes, average height,
Personality: friendly, although often sarcastic. tends not to trust many people. reliable. stable and strong background.
Family: lost at young age. separated by tradition of his village. when the boy becomes a man, which in his culture is around age ten, he is sent away from the family to set out on his own goals. he may not have a family of his own until he has proven himself worthy to his ancestral spirits.
Worst fear: spiritual rejection; dying in shame
Other: Tempest does not know what he seeks to prove himself worthy, but he knows he must continue on. There are 3 ways his clan may achieve this. The first is to be a protector, a hero in the eyes of the world. Tempest does not seek this path. The second is to be transcended into the spiritual realm through meditation. This is not the path he seeks. The third path lacks detail, but Tempest is guided by his ancestors to mark a new trail. He has set off to discover what may lie ahead.

Sophie crouched beside their parents wooden door that was the obstacle between the hallway and their bedroom. She creaked it open slightly, the light streaming into the hallway. She heard anxious murmurs between each of her parents, and she could see her father's shadow moving back and forth. Sophie figured he was pacing, he always did that when he was anxious. "Edward we must get the girls out of here." her mother demanded, loudly. "Where will they go?" Edward asked harshly turning to his wife. "The orcs, ogres, and all the rest of the bad ones are looking for them. We cannot see them leave, otherwise the witch will read our minds and find out." he started pacing again. "Let them go on their own, they are mature enough and strong enough." Caroline said with a fierce tone. "I do not want my little girls to run around, while they are out there waiting." Edward pointed out their large window, he had stopped pacing again. "Trust them." Was all Caroline said before she turned to her book. Sophie turned around and raced down the hallway towards her and her sister's room. "Isabelle!" she jumped on her sister's bed and shook her rapidly. "Isabelle!" she called again jumping off the bed and racing to their drawers. She only called her sister Isabelle when she was scared, anxious, or angry, she knew her sister would know her feeling's right away.

Tempest was walking through the forest. There was an odd feeling about this area. He could see ahead of him, maybe a mile or two, big, gray walls. He decided not to go any further, so he climbed a tree and began to think about his quest. He pulled out his bow and shot an arrow straight at a tree three-hundred feet in front of him. Perfect shot.

He hopped down after a long pause, not knowing where he needed to go. He decided to head toward the walls, but not to get within shooting range. When he walked within a short distance, he heard murmuring. He could not make out any of the words, but only heard a name here and there. "Sophie." He'd heard the name before, but he couldn't figure out where or why. He decided to stop here and try to focus on what was going on. Finally, he slumped against a tree and began to doze off. The sun was highest in the sky, and he'd not had a good rest since the moon was rising 2 days ago.

"Wha-" Isabee awoke to her sister shaking her awake. She heard her full name coming from Sophia's voice, and sat upright immediately among her blankets. "What happened?" She asked. She saw Sophia rummaging around in her dresser. She slid smoothly out of bed, and walked, still sleepy, to her sister's side. But Sophia was rushing all over the room. "Would you calm down, and tell me what's going on?" Isabee asked, an annoyed tone taking over in her usually even, cheerful tone. She grabbed her sister's shoulders, and turned her to face Isabee's serious, petite features faced downward on her face. When she was sure her sister would stay and explain what was happening, Isabee removed her arms, and reached her hand up to the blonde mess sitting atop her head. "I just braided my hair before I went to bed," Isabee complained, taking out the elastics, and letting her hair out.

bic:
Sophia stopped to look at Isabee. "I heard mom and dad talking. They are thinking of sending us to run away to keep us safe from ogres, and orcs, and a witch." she said quickly. "We need to be ready to go!" she exclaimed, running to the drawer's again and pulling out many clothes. She which one's where hers and which one's where Isabee's. Then the door creaked open and their father stepped in. Sophia whipped around, her face terrified. "Girls we need to talk." Edward said smoothly sitting on Sophia's bed and patting the spot next to him. Sophie stood their for a brief second and then walked over, grabbing Isabee's hand to come with her. "Dangerous times are coming." he started, looking at them individually. "Your mother and I concluded that it is no longer safe for you two to be here. You hold special powers that the evil witch of Biala mountain wants." he turned his head to look out of their window. Sophia also looked noticing, purple, green, pink, and yellow lights flashing from the large snowy mountains. "You girls cannot tell me or anyone where you are going. If the witch catches them she will use their mind to find you. Go far away from Avalon, when it is safe I will send someone to find you. But other than that just keep running." he gripped Sophia's knee. "You two must stay together. Trust no one." he gave them each a long stare. "Pack lightly, and run as soon as you can. She will be coming soon." he got up and walked out of their room. "Isabee." Sophia murmured, still staring out of the window.

Isabee collapsed to a sitting position on her bed, shocked. "I can't leave," She whispered, horrorstruck. Sophia was still rushing around, packing. "I have a bag we could use," Isabee said, her thoughts coming back to the present. She got up quickly, and pulled a bag out from under her bed. "Should I go grab some food?" Isabee asked, motioning toward the slightly ajar door and looking to her sister. "I don't want to be eating something we find out in the wild at first," Isabee's delicate features crinkled in disgust. They went back to normal as fast as they had gotten that way. "I'm going to miss this place," Isabee murmured, gazing around her room, at her unmade bed, the clothes strewn all over the floor, and the paintings on the walls. She reached over, and ran her hands across the smooth surface.

ooc: I did post my info- its right before ur first post on the story

Tempest awoke and heard the father talking. He decided it would be in his favor to accompany and protect these girls. It would not provide him passage to his worthiness, but it couldn't hurt. So he decided to wait outside of the castle walls for the girls. He would explain to them his journey, and persuade them to let him join the group. He realized that they would not trust him, but he would prove himself to them. He would show them the magic of his people. This would surely gain their trust. So he prepared himself for the coming of the two girls. "Who knows?" he thought to himself. "One of 'em might even be pretty."

He leaned against the wall, head down, and closed his eyes, listening for the Princesses' retreat.

ooc: oooo whoopsies!! and shhhhhhhhh...

bic:
Sophia finished packing and handed Isabee her bag. "Some of your stuff may be in my bag but we can fix that later." she said while handing her the bag. Then a loud thunerous, ogreous roar shook their castle making Sophia crouch down. "There is no time for food!" she yelled, a large bass drum like sound boomed around their house, the evil ones where very near. "Girls go!" their dad's panic stricken sounded from their parents bedroom. Sophia grabbed Isabee's hand and the raced throught the long halls and narrow stairways, until finally leaving through the front gates of the castle. As she ran she tripped over a boy, sending her flying face first into the dirt. Then she heard the same roar again and she instinctively grabbed the boy's hand and dragged him and Isabee into the bushes next to the pathway leading to the front gate of their castle. The evil ones emerged from the forest on the other side of the path. The had hideous long teeth coming from their bottom jaw and ruby red eyes. Their skin was torn, bruised, and slimy looking. They broke the gate easily and ran into the castle. Sophia could here many swords clashing and figured the guards had tried to stop them. But it was no use, the evil one's where all at least eight feet tall with skin as thick as stone. Then they heard a loud shriek from their mother. "I have to help!" Sophia yelled, about to emerge from their protective undergrowth.

Tempest stopped her. He understood the castle was under siege. He pulled her back down and covered her mouth. He didn't get a chance to really look at either girl. He just waited for the noises to stop. Even tho the girls couldn't hear any more fighting, her heard noises in the forest. There were more of them coming. He whispered to the two girls "Follow me. If we stay against the castle wall, in these bushes, we can go undetected." He grabbed both of their hands and began moving slowly.

"We can't! They would have wanted us to stay safe!" Isabee tried to calm her sister, staring in horror at the scene unfolding in front of her eyes. She turned and started to tug on Sophia's wrist. Just then, she noticed the boy. "Who're you?" Isabee asked instinctively. She realized how unpolite she sounded, but she didn't care. They needed to be careful about who they trust, that's what their dad had said. "Are you with the evil ones?" Isabee asked suspiciously. They had no time to waste.

Once they reached the other side of the castle, he realized they didn't trust him. "My name is Tempest. I come from a small village founded on cultural traditions and spiritual magic. I will prove myself to you in due time. For now, we must stay safe."
He wouldn't admit it, but Isabelle, (or Isabee, as he heard her sister call her at some point), was very beautiful. He had not been prepared for this turn of events.

"If you are going to prove yourself 'in time', how do we know we can trust you now?" Isabee retorted. She glared at him, and yanked her hand from his. She looked at her sister. "Do you still have your bag?" She asked, then saw the bag hanging on Sophia's back. "Okay. Let's get going," Isabee grabbed Sophia's wrist, and started to drag her away from the boy. Her dad said not to trust anyone, so she would listen to him.

Tempest began to follow them.
"Alright, alright. I guess now's as good a time as any."
Summoning his magic, a small orb appeared in front of them. The orb formed into a small circle, showing a glimpse into the past. It was a story being shown to the girls.

** There were two kings. They sat across the table from each other. As they laughed and ate, they began to get to more serious matters. "The monsters approach," said the king who was obviously the ancestor of the two princesses. "There is not much time. If they capture us both, they will get all of our magic. We must divide."
The other king looked unhappy. "I see this dilemma," he said.I will go and take my people from this land. We will form a village and become a tribe outside of these walls. We will take our magic and you will have yours. You must fight them off long enough for our escape. Peace be with you, my friend." This was an ancestor to Tempest and his peoples.
The orb flashed to another image. It was the battle. The king's men were fighting the monstrous army as the others fled. Separated, their magic was not as powerful, but either way they could not win. The king and his men were forced out of the land, and the monsters ruled for several years. It was not until 300 years ago that the two kings reunited to defeat the mosnter. However, they decided that they could not keep their magic together, because it drew too much attention. They had to part ways.

This is when the two families were torn apart, destined to rejoin one day. The power of the royal magic has been passed down among generations, along with this story. The two magics would be reunited in a time of great peril, and will create a new destiny for both families.**

Tempest let the orb dissolve, and waited for the reaction of the Princesses.

Sophie whipped around and stared at the orb with understanding. That image was vaguely familiar to her, "Isabelle wait." she demanded, staring into the boy's eyes. She judged him, overseeing every inch of his body. "We need him." she said turning to Isabee. She was never so sure of herself as she was now. "That image," she pointed to where the orb once was. "I've seen it before." She turned to the boy now. "Your the other half, you combined with us could destroy the evil ones." she concluded. But did they even have a power, their father had said so, but was it true? She ripped her wrist from Isabee's hand and walked right up to the boy, and poked him harshly in the chest. "If you do anything to reveal us to the witch or anybody else. I will destroy you." she glared at him. She had a gut feeling that she could trust him, but she didn't want him knowing. "We are going to follow him Isabee." she said turning back to her sister. She still didn't know if they even had what the witch, the boy, and their father thought they did. But she hoped to god that they did, if the witch found them she could destroy the world.

"So you understand" he said.
"If we are caught, the world may fall."
He looked into her eyes. There was something there hecouldn't understand. It was not something romantic or sexual. It was powerful. Trust. He realized that his fate was in their hands, and theirs in his. This was his ancestral way to prove himself. He would help these two girls, and then find his family.
Tempest turned to Isabee. "I understand you do not trust me quite yet. But we have to trust each other. It is very important." He walked up to Isabee and looked deep in her eyes. The same powerful feeling of trust was there. But there was something more. Tempest said nothing as he stared at her, then he turned back to Sophie.
"It's time to go. I believe the key to unlocking your own powers lies to the east. I will explain later... I know of your powers, although I do not know how to unleash them. All I am aware of is that the witch you speak of somehow banished your family from their magic. I say banish, but there is a way to return it. We must find this and save our realm."

Re: The Princesses of Avalon (need one more boy!!!) ( )

Postby Inhert on Tue Dec 09, 2008 8:22 pm

(OOC: Is it cool if I join? I'm thinking this might be a good fun if I try something different like this.)

Name: Kasper Van de Aart
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Looks: Kasper is a tall tanned man who appears to be of mixed European and Pacific Islander descent, with tanned skin, sandy blond hair and steel blue eyes. He is of not of a particularly imposing build, but the leanness of his body and posture reveal the habits and movements of a well-trained and unpredictable fighter. He dresses in fine, but slightly worn red silks and linens, pieces of dark red light plate which cover his left arm, shoulder and torso, a wide-brimmed black hat and wears a white polished ivory mask which conceals his face. His left arm is covered in a small series of scars from attempting to defend himself from a sword without any protection.
Personality: Kasper is a fighter by nature, with the kind of iron will forged by a life of adventure, and hardship. He is cool headed, intelligent and perceptive, but once he understands a situation, can impulsively engage in it without restraint. While not a cynic, his inquisitive and analytical nature makes him avoid taking things at a first glance, and prefers to peel away the layers until he finds the truth through investigation. Traveling the world with a rough crowd has left him worldly and experienced, but far from cynic. The world, while dangerous, has shown him an immense amount of beauty, something the well-traveled youth has a great appreciation for.
Family: Maark Van de Aart, father and Captain of the Blazing Coffer. By extension, the crew of the ship, who acted as surrogate uncles, siblings and his main foils as he grew up. His mother died when he was young, but he knows she was from a village on the eastern sea trade routes.
Worst fear:Being pulled down to drown by the tides or flow of a river.
Other: Raised on a merchant vessel as the bastard son of its captain, Kasper was never held in high regard by the crew and had to make up for it by being a competent fighter, sailor and merchant. As he grew up, he fought long and hard to become the best he was, eventually earning the love of a father and the grudging respect of a superstitious crew that disliked allowing a half-foreigner child on their ship. Over the years, he and his father accumulated various treasures and mastercrafts throughout the world, until and incident with a tempest left him on the shores of Avalon, with little more than a few bags of silver, his gear when he was swept away and a bizarre ivory mask.

His weapons include a well-crafted rapier and an enchanted flintlock pistol which has no limits on munitions.
