Quick Bio: Nikki, throughout her whole life, believed in magic. She'd had 'witch' blood in her, and so did her mother, although none of her ancestors had powers. She bought a spellbook one day from an antique shop, and was amazed when a spell she tried actually worked. Since then, Nikki has bought many more magic books and memorized them all.

Taneah looked out of her spaceship, anxious to arrive at her station. She was the 10th Protector of the Milky Way Galaxy, and boy, was she excited. She looked out into the vast universe, the stars seemed to be in touching distance. "Wow..." she breathed as they passed Neptune, and looked at the next coming planet. Pluto was Taneah's planet to protect, and she was proud of it. She felt that it would look good on her college application. Protecting the universe from evil Aliens. Hmph, that sounded good.

Karia stood upon her planet, she heat not affecting her. This was her planet and much more, the Star of the Milky Way. Smiling she turned around calling to Pyri, summoning him from the vast expanse of flames infront of her. "Come my friend, let's go." She gazed up, over the tall flames and into the galaxy, staring at the light of the stars. "Something is stirring out there, I know it but how can I prevent it?" She gazed on with a troubled expressioin upon her face.

The Eighth Protector of the Milky Way. What a title. Especially when given to a thirteen-year-old-girl.
Nikki sighed as she thought about it. She was the youngest Protector; and felt the most insecure, too. Nikki had liked her life better when she had just used her magic for fun, expecting it to be from her witch blood. Turns out witch blood doesn't exist, and Nikki wasn't a witch, but a Protecter of the something-or-other. She hated the responsibility.
She was on her patron planet, trying to figure out where the meeting would take place. She looked toward the huge announcement:

PROTECTOR MEETING TODAY
4:00 EARTH TIME
PLANET EARTH

Nikki began to mutter an incantation. " Meh-canta newbe ei-san mor-ibil faks,"
Instantly she was in the fading light of the sun, on planet Earth.

Then she remembered, a meeting was today, on Earth. "We don't want to waste time Pyri, let's go." Wwith a grunt she transported herself to Earth. Staring into the blue sky she gazed at her plant, astounded by it's remarkable beauty. Turning away Pyri perched on her shoulder, turning of his flames he was just a dark scarlet Pheonix with long tail feathers. 'Where are we to go?"

Where to now?
Nikki pondered this, thinking. Just then, a message appeared in midair in front of her. The carefully folded peice of paper fell into her hands. Opening it, she read.

Dear Protector,
The meeting will be held today at Minks' Antiques Shop. The others ave recieved this message. Go.

It didn't specify a sender. Nikki knew Minks', it was where she'd gotten her magic books. Turning a corner to catch her surroundings, Nikki realized she was in Japan. She sighed, repeating the incantation. She often messed it up. Magic was harder thn it seemed.
" Meh-canta newbe ei-san mor-ibil faks-inu," This time she specified New York, New York.

Rounding another corner, she came to Minks'. She smiled at Mike, the owner.
" Hey, Lil' Ole Nikki! How 'ya doin, sweetie?"
" I'm fine, thanks Mike,"
" We don't have any more books in stock,"
" Not what I'm here for. The, ahem, meeting." Nikki said, nodding toward the back room and flashing her invitation.
" Go ahead, " Mike answered as she stepped carefully into the room.

Karia studied the message and smiled with pleasure, this place to be arriving at wasn't that far away from her post now. With a flip of her hair she entered the large town, and studied the figures around her. She didn't realize how much she would miss the regular life of a human until she had already given it away. Narrowing her eyes she prospered the fact that she had wanted the power and the had chosen her, not the other way around.

After walking several blocks and drinking in the fumes and pollutions of the the counter, Pyri crooed on her shoulder, wary of their surroundings. "Sir, I'm her for a...,' she had to decide wether she was to tell him or it was secret, findint how dumb the question was she continued,"....a meeting." Unfolding the parchment for him to read he smiled andcity, New York, she finally found her destination. Walking in she smiled at the clerk as she walked up to showed her the door. "Thank you sir," she stepped in the room where another girl, about her age, was.

Natasha had already been on Earth at the time the meeting was called, visiting her mother and everything. Once they had said a quick goodbye, with a kiss to the cheek, the blonde girl turned and ran down the garden path, waving down a taxi as her mother lived in the city. She waved as she gave the taxi her order and then turned her back to the comfortable looking house as she sped away.
