The spears hurled right towards Naraku. The first thought to come to mind was adoment, the hardest and only substance to be capable of breaking through his barrier. However, he soon realized that this wasn't so. It was actually rock, just simple rock. This of course resulted in the spikes colliding with the barrier, and since the yokai's protection was stronger, the spikes were crushed on impact. Ed's last-ditch effort was for naught. He had better absorb the Pikachu before it were to die. Naraku had no time to deal with this petty mortal, no matter what powers he possessed. He advanced on into the kitchen, electricity bouncing off his barrier and ricochetting off into random directions. The yokai chuckled darkly at their feeble attempts to stop him.

"You will all die now for your defiance."

Both of Naraku's hands became sharp tentacles, which he then shot out of his barrier to stab at both Edward and that witch. They were fast, but not so quick as to instantly kill both victims. If they were to hit, miasma would pour into the bodies at touch to therefore seal the fate of whomever he was able to hit. If able to take down both adversaries, Naraku would then float towards the unconsious Pikachu to collect his due.

Xellos leaned away from Aisha with a slightly confused look on his face. 'I just wanted her to cause some trouble down the lines, but apparently, this woman has other things on her mind. He quickly turned back to the house.

"Well my dear Aisha, it appears they my good friend Naraku is being attacked, shall we go help him?"

Without waiting for an answer, Xellos places a hand on Aisha's shoulder and they both vanished, appearing behind Naraku.

"Oh, the short kid and.........." Xellos blinked in confusion when he saw Pikachu. ".....and an lightning rat? My, my, my what interesting enemies you have made Naraku."

Largo, coming to once more, tried to recap what had happened. he couldn't remember. he felt an excruciating pain on his forehead and a burning sensation in his chest. the only thing he knew was that he had to get downstairs and save Pikachu. Running down the stairs once more, he came into the kitchen right behind Naraku. only...this time there were two other people behind him. Pikachu, was collapsed on the floor, from exhaustion or something else, Largo couldn't tell. Hoping that they didnt notice him, he turned and began trying to seek around them to get to Pikachu...

Wolfwood had stood by to long. He lifted the Punisher up, and shot at the Demon's tenticals, hoping they would either stop, or be thrown off target. I guess I will be acting like Needle-nogin... Nick sprinted by the demon, and stood infront of the group being attacked. He held his cross pointed at the demon's head, and rest his finger on the trigger.

Pikachu dreamed. It dreamed that it was back with its trainer on another exciting adventure to discover Pokemon, meeting new friends along the way. It dreamed of Brock flirting with all the Nurse Joys and getting his ear pulled by Max while May watched on the side.

Oddly enough Pikachu also dreamed of Team Rocket, the bolt letter 'R' imprinted in its mind like a bullseye. The two knuckleheads and a Meowth chased Pikachu down a dark path with no end in sight, gaining with every second.

All of a sudden Pikachu found itself inside a stadium; bright spotlights illuminating the field and a tall trainer whose features were shrouded in shadow, although the outline resembled Naraku. Thousands of fans cheered as a Pokemon was released by the mysterious challenger - it was a Psyduck but had Largo's head on it.

Pikachu jumped back with fright. "Pi----?!"

he was almost all the way around and was in plain sight of the little mouse. he then saw why it had passed out. a small puncture wound looking a bit infected. Largo, at the sight of this, forgot all about sneaking and ran strait toward pikachu scooping it up as soon as he got closer. Largo sighed,'hmmm...'he thought,'hes dreaming, hehe.'

ooc: Ugh, sorry, the computer crashed...

Just as the tenticles were about to hit their targets, a loud shot was heard. The tentacles were obliterated, causing Naraku to become irritated by all the interruptions. All of this for just one lightning rat? The yokai turned to see a man with a rather large... gun as it was called. Though it was shaped strangely, not like the ones back in his home area. Behind his barrier, Naraku was impervious to shuch mortal weapons. However, he had to get the Pikachu by means of having a limb leave the barrier, and that wouldn't be possible with this human shooting at him. The devious yokai sneered at Wolfwood, knowing too well this human was at a huge disadvantage.

"Fool of a man, do you take me, Naraku, as so easy to defeat?"

Suddenly a huge cloud of miasma poured from his barrier, the poison spreading throughout the kitchen to eliminate all of these pests. But instead of allowing the Pikachu to be consumed by the poison cloud, the yokai put up a strong barrier around it as well. That helped save its little insignificant life, for the time being. Naraku heard a familiar voice, being that of the first person he met in this house: Xellos. There was another, a female, with him, demanding who everyone was. Naraku hadn't the time for introductions, especially to those he didn't even know of. He began hovering towards the Pikachu, noticing Largo was now here and trying to get to it. That blasted wretch! Another tentacle shot out of the barrier, attempting to impale the boy straight through the abdomen. Hopefully througout the confusion of this miasma he would not notice and be killed quickly. This was becoming troublesome anyway.

Right before Largo had a chance to scoop Pikachu into his arms, one of Naraku's tentacles flew at him almost imaling his chest. It was now that Largo realized a cloud of that gassy stuff again and Picachu in a little bubble thing."Hey!No fair!"he shouted at Naraku right before he had to hold his breath to avoid breathing the gas. Largo reached for Pikachu but the ball must've been some kind of shield and his hand wouldnt go through it. Largo was almost out of breath, so he scooped up the entire ball and chunked it out of the kitchen then ran blindly out of a nearby doorway so he could breath before he passed out.

Xellos reacted quickly as the Miasma started pouring from behind Naraku's shield. He quickly grabbed Xellos grabbed Aisha by the braid and yanked her to him, pulling her as close to him as he possibly could.

"Windy Shield!"

Once again, the spinning cyclone spring up from Xellos' feet spinning fast enough to push the deadly Miasma away from himself and Aisha.

"You know, you really should be more careful how you use that stuff. From the way you fight, I'm guessing you're used to wide open areas, but we're kinda in an enclosed space here buddy."

Wolfwood held his breath, and was glad he had help that could clear it. "Compared to being shot at by Chapel and Cain at the same time, I don't think so." Nick slapped the cross on the ground, standing next to him. He clicked a button, and it opened up, 12 pistols shot out handle first. Wolfwood grabbed two of them, and took cover behind the Punisher.

Ed quickly clapped again raising his hand to the miasma as it came through the air. With he quickly transmuted the poison into oxygen. Then he ran over slapping his hands together and grabbed the tentacle transmuting it how Scar does.

"Fine lets try something harder." He said slapping his hands together and slaming them on the ground transmuting steel spikes to shoot at his barrier.

(hey I can't stuck my hands through naraku's barrier can I?)

ooc: I don't think even an alchemist could transmute and go through the barrier, seeing it as being made out of energy itself... I think.

The transmutation caused one of Naraku's tentacles to burst into pieces. Not that it had harmed him any, he only regrew his hand back. The yokai noted that practically everyone in the house was here now. Xellos used his wind power to block away the miasma, and before anything could be said or done, the poison was amazingly dispersed! Naraku darted his red eyes to Edward again, seeing he had made another circle on the ground to make it disappear. That blasted boy was more troublesome than he first predicted. Spikes shot from the ground again, colliding with his barrier. A cracking was heard, then silence, and finally... the spikes gave way and burst. Was Edward incapable of learning? The other who faced off against him, Wolfwood, was now behind his large cross gun. Naraku took it as cowardice. The yokai turned to Xellos now.

"Take care of these mortals."

With saying that, he suddenly zoomed straight at the wall, smashing through it. Particularly it was right out where Pikachu was thrown. Largo was another pest he needed to exterminate. The spike armor Naraku wore suddenly turned into a multitude of spikes, and all now shooting down straight at Largo while the boy was trying to recover breath. He had used this attack against Kikyo once. Imagine it as a thorn bush suddenly moving all of its limbs at its victim and even the surrounding area.

Chii found herself swirling in a vortex of endless colors. She was surrounded by more shades than her systems could comprehend. Images she didn't recognize appeared randomly around her, fading in and out of sight. She saw a man appear in front of her only for a moment. Chii only noticed his labcoat before he vanished; she did not get to see his face. She also saw a room full of machines, wires going in every direction....A woman was there, also in a labcoat...The scene vanished. Chii's head stayed on a swivel, constantly looking around at the objects that appeared in the swirling tornado around her.

Finally, she saw someone she recognized: herself. The image didn't look exactly like Chii, however. She had darker eyes, and her stare was not as blank as her own. The image had an elaborate, black dress on, that flowed in all directions around her, even though Chii felt no wind.

The image reached out to Chii. The image's mouth was moving, but Chii could not hear her. At the sight of it's reaching hand, Chii felt the need...no, the desire...to reach out to it. She extended her arm, trying to get to her hand...

Ryuzaki stared as Chii flopped around the room as if she were having a seizure! He jumped up from his position, kicking a small box in front of the door and ran to her. He could hear the violence below, and knew that someone would be seriously injured sooner or later; he was desperate that it would not be Chii.


Her left ear began to emit a small stream of smoke. He looked at carefully, prodding at it. She was.. a machine? She had emotions! What? He shook his head. He knew that this would not be the only surprise in this house to him, and the girl was his friend. He unlatched the ear suddenly, and looked at a damaged piece of wire.

He pondered a second, putting his finger to his lips. He fished around in his back pocket for some sort of material to repair the wire... gum?! GUM! Food! Oh... he unwrapped the gum and chewed it's flavour savouringly, and his stomach growled with pleasure. He sighed, taking it out as his tongue took one last taste. Strawberry...

He planted it on the wire and fixed it in place carefully, and closed the ear back up; sitting back against the bed and watching, waiting.

Chii felt as if she would never reach the reflection of herself. She stretched her arm out as far as she could but felt like she was still going no where. She looked at the image confused, still reaching with all the energy that she had...when she finally felt like she was about to touch her reflection's hand...

Chii's systems booted up. She opened her eyes slowly, blinking a few times, trying to remember where she was.

"Chii...."

She sat up slowly and looked at Ryuzaki, finally realizing where she was and what had happened the past couple days.

"Chii feels...funny...here..." She pointed to her head. She looked around the room, still taking in everything around her.

"Why is Chii over here? Chii was getting her shoes..."

Ryuzaki sat up and hugged Chii slightly.

You just blacked out a minute ago, you should be fine for now. He smiled faintly, not knowing how to react to what he had discovered; although it didn't bother him much. He was interested in what powers or talents she possessed.


His stomach rumbled. Dammit..

His thoughts kept backtracking to the taste of the chewing gum he had used to help Chii back into 'conciousness'. It was sweet, and the gum was very soft and not sticky. Strawberries.. he put his finger to his lips, and licked the tip of it to see if there was any flavourings left from when he had handled the gum.

Aisha's proud posture was quickly and effectively overwhelmed by the sudden dispute that grew aggressive before her eyes, and in the tumult she made sure to be in a different room. She scrambled about, swinging open the doors to the various bedchambers of the house 'guests', recognizing not one, which surely added to her state of panic. "Myshipmyshipmyship!" she shouted after every unrecognizable abode, until she flung herself onto her bed, so desperate to feel safe that she had left the door wide open, still swinging with the momentum of her search.

Chii hugged Ryuzaki tight for a moment, feeling a strange feeling inside her that she wasn't sure how to decipher. It wasn't pain, but it surely wasn't a good feeling. She needed comfort, and didn't completely understand why.

Suddenly, Chii jumped at the running in the hall and pulled away from Ryuzaki, not completely listening to what he was saying. She tilted her head slightly when she began to hear doors being slung open, slamming into the wall each time.

Chii stood up and headed for the door to investigate.
