The Rise of the Forkshire ( )

Postby Kronos on Thu Aug 28, 2008 9:03 pm

OOC: A new contender, ran mostly by Char RPers, rise into the light of the Multiverse!

Please don't shoot me for this... Sorry for shortness...

In Space, 253 Light-Years East of Red Technocracy's Southernmost Boarder

The FDS Fnork was drifting in space, it's massive twin Particle Engines pushing it's 5-Mile along bulk across the stars.

Fresh from it's scouting mission into rift 1534-XH2, the Fnork was ready for action and anything that awaited them in this new and unknown galaxy.

Now on to the ship itself. It was a 5-mile long Battleship, one of the more advanced ships in the Forkshire navy, but certainly not the most powerful. It's many missile clusters and shielding nodes were seamlessly integrated into the superstructure of the ship itself, and whole thing resembled a giant, bumpy, fork in it's design and construction.

In the Command Interlink Chair, sap the Marshal of the Forkshire Military, Kronos. His form was partly obscured by the variety of mechanical equipment that surrounded him, compressing the massive stream of Internal and Sensor data into a format for mind-machine interfacing. To him, this would seem like thoughts and the occasion warning scrolling across his vision, while the rest his mind processed and converted without him even noticing.

As for the rest of the crew...

The leader of the Forkshire Dynasty, Forky, was making her way towards the main control room, humming quietly to herself as she went. No one was quite sure where the name of Forky had came from for her, since it was certainly a nickname, but it was the only name her citizens knew from her. She obviously either didn't want her real identity to be known, or she had just taking an extreme liking to the silverware based name. After all, everything around her was named after her as long as she kept the name of Forky.

The doors opened before her, and she headed into the control room, making her way towards the center of the room where Kronos sat. She would let him stay in charge of the basic flight. She, after all, knew nothing of flying such a huge spaceship, and, besides, Forky was quite enjoying being able to kick back and do much of nothing.

"Everything going good out there?" Forky said somewhat loudly in her southern accent. Their leader talking loud was nothing new for the Fnork's crew since their forktator often talked rather loudly. It probably had something to do with the fact that she herself often had problems hearing herself.

'Gah! Volume, girl, volume! You're in a spaceship, not outside yelling across a field!' Forky thought, fussing at herself like she often did. Quite frankly, she was ready to get out of the Fnork and back outside where her loud talking would not be quite as noticeably. She may be a leader of a country, but she certainly wasn't one for staying inside again. One had to remember that Forky was certainly not the conventional leader that kept the normal company.

Right now, she was being followed by Arthur, her favorite of the aardvarks that lived on her ship. These were, of course, the same aardvarks that haters were feed to, but do not be alarmed. Arthur and his cohorts were also friendly except when they were in the presence of a hater. Then they turned into the true killers that they were.

Lieutenant Cutler y'Draw sat at his chair on the bridge of The FDS Fnork. He took out his data fork and clicked a button at the appex, turning the points a blueish green. The data fork started to emit a low humming noise, at this point he opened the Designated Recharge Access Window in his console and put the data fork with the others. They hummed in unison and he closed the D.R.A.W. He began downloading the information they contained onto his Personal Learning Analogue Task Engine. This resembled a small round screen with a dip in the centre.

He overlooked the scouting logs and recordings and nodded to himself, they were all correct.

"Marshall Kronos, the information is inputted. Shall I thend it to the Kronos Interface Thought Central Hub Emitter Node?"

He noticed Forktator Forky. He drew himself up and tried to look able and controlled. Not that he wasn't, but ever since his youth on the Forky Dynasty farming lands, where the Forky's had run everything he was impressed and maybe a little intimidated by Forktator Forky's family. She was no acception.

"Hail Red Technocrathy glorious Forktator. Is there a tathk you with me to perform?" he said in his careful, studied way of speaking, his Southern accent was hard to make out at times due to his very pronounced lisp.

Princess Kohanna sighed flipping her hair back, she stared out with excitement as the palace came into view on her satellite. "Its about time, I'm late!" She thought annoyed as the ship floated into Earth's orbit. It had been a while since she had seen her dear friend and queen.

"Well everything is under control now so I can relax." She thought. After she had made sure the palace would be all right she decided to drop in for a meeting with the queen of the Fokshire Dynasty. Her guard handed her a cranberry juice and chocolate milanos, earning a smile. At least some things never changed. When the ship finally landed she clapped her hands and her royal puppy, a mutt she dubbed Pooka, hopped off the ship and into her arms.

"Lets go see Forky." She said walking into the palace. Inside she was seated and an amused smile found its way to her face. Forky hadn't even come back to the palace yet and Kohanna had been running around like a chicken with its head cut off worrying Forky had perhaps been waiting for her.

"Well at least I can pretend to have arrived on time now." She mused before taking out her portable DVD player and watched movies to make the time pass as she waited for someone to show up.
Image <-------made by me! Yes I know I'm epic but the fact still remains. I win you lose happy days and a pair of high heel shoes

Like a ship blown from its mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a skybird
In a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good

Zero, the Guardian of the Kings and Queens, and the friend of Kohanna entered casually walking throught the doors to see Kohanna pulling out a Dvd player. He wore a blue T-Shirt, and had shiny red eyes, like his hair. He was accompanied by 2 Elite Mages who ensured that the job would get done if Zero, was to face more than he was capable of, though that didnt happen often. He entered and said.
"Is Forky here?" though he could clearly see that no one was here but Kohanna. He looked around the make sure then walked in and leaned agianst the wall and looked at Kohanna.
"Its not like her to be late..." he said worrying like he did often. The guards chuckled but a quick glance at them made them immediatley stop. Zero looked back at Kohanna and said.
"Is this meeting for the queens and Kings only?"
((Im pming you Ko look forward to it XD))
