I do have a few quick questions, although your idea looks very interesting. ^_^

1) Is one allowed to play a human character?
2) Is doubling allowed?
3) How many RPers are you hoping for?

Most noticeably, 4) Do your vampires have any specific racial traits that should be known? (For example; special powers, physical ways of identification such as oddly colored eyes or something of the like, or 'superior' physical power?)

Appearance:

History: She was the first child of Macy and Andrew Thompson, farmers from the state of Mississippi. She grew up on the family farm in Missippi, where she learned to be a hard worker, her dialect and accent severly suffers from growing up on the banks of the Mississippi river. Her mother, whom had many many children, enstilled a love for children in her eldest daughter. Her father was a scholarly man, who wasn't very fit for the farm life, he taught his daughter to love learning a lesson she picked up quite well. She moved to New York to work in an inner city school after getting her bachelors in Education. She has just began her first year as a history teacher at a local highschool in the Bronx, a challenge she embraces happily.

Personality: Calm. Caring. She is quick to trust and quiet naive. She is studious person who can find interest in just about anything. She isn't spontanious or hyper but focused and quick learning. She usually holds her togue unless she fills a great unjustice had been done to another person. She isn't frightened easily and thinks that every problem can be fixed and every person brought to see the better side of things. In short she is naive of people, she believes the very best in everyone and does her best to to help people with there problems even if it means putting herself in harms way.

Other: She has a passion for any type of mythology and other old things (ie.old graves, old newpapers, the collosium)

Yes

If you're talking about making more than one character, yes, if it's other wise I dont know what you mean.

Well besides the speed there are the eyes when one is in their true form their eyes turn a shade of light yellow. The only special powers or abilities they have are the speed and they're very powerful. They can lift very heavy things but this takes a lot of the energy out of their bodies so they don't usually use the strength unless it's a life threating situation.

Well, I do actually have three more, XD. But, thanks for answering my first four. My last ones (for the moment at least), are:

1) What does the general "True Form" look like? Is it still humanoid, etc?

2) Would my human character be acceptable as a vampire-hunter (whom would be admittedly raised with the prejudice that vampires are nothing more than murderous humanoids, but is later open for change of heart, XD)?

3) What timeframe is this set in?

So far, though, this is only getting more and more interesting. ^_^

Well when I picture the vampires I was thinking about is yellow eyes probably fangs and well wings. It's kind of weird sounding but in my head it looks really good of course your character doesn't have to look anything like this if you don't want him/her to.

Definitely! That sounds very interesting and it would keep the story entertaining.

No problem, that would actually be very cool. Besides, its very different from the usual picture of vampires. (Having created my own alternation of the race, I definitely appreciate your change from the norm, too. ^_^)

Okay, thanks. And, I agree, it'll definitely spice up the story. Besides, it'll be good for character development when she starts to question the beliefs she was raised with. After all, even if some of the vampires might fit the description, not all of them would be heartless killers.

Alright, last question, XD. Then I'll start making my characters.

“Role”: Human, Vampire Hunter

Gender: Female

Human Appearance: Helena stands roughly 5’6, weighing around 120 pounds. Her lean frame is lightly tanned and muscular from long hours of physical training; although a livid crimson scar is visible not far above her right collar bone from a past battle, but labeled as a “sparring accident” when people ask. She is, however, stronger than she looks.

Her long, pale blonde hair is usually bound into a loose braid, although it falls halfway down her back when loose. Helena’s eyes are a cool silver, critically evaluating and rarely gentle when observing. Smooth control can be seen in her movements, gleaned from the same training that she spent so much time on.

- Attire: She generally wears faded blue jeans and black ankle-length boots, a simple black belt running through the loops. Her belt buckle features two crossed swords. She also wears a blue denim jacket over her plain white tank-top, although it is usually unbuttoned to allow for movement.

Helena’s weapons are tucked down each boot, one with the hammer locked and the other in a sturdy steel sheath.

History: As the only daughter of one of the few remaining vampire-hunting families, she was either studying or physically training throughout most of her childhood and into teenage years. One of the only things that kept their family trade hidden was the fact that they kept both a shooting range and a weaponry “school”. By the time she was ten years old, she was able to fire a Glock 20 (a 10 millimeter semi-automatic pistol, commonly used in law enforcement) with average precision. At the age of fifteen, she was getting mostly bull’s-eyes, and was now an amateur in knives. By the age of eighteen, she had her first combat experience with the hunger-frenzied monster she’d been raised to execute. That resulted in the livid scar almost at her throat, said vampire's weapon having succeeded in a fairly deep strike.

While she never had much time for friends, she never felt she specifically needed them. This eventually led to a solitary young woman of twenty-one, almost trained to be an assassin in comparison – Both by in hand-to-hand as well as weaponry related. In the back of her mind, though, admittedly longing for what she had denied when younger.

Personality: Helena has a cold exterior, but is quick to voice her opinion to others. Sarcasm has been known to cling to her words when people assume, the same applying to when others act with arrogance. While she knows she is quite capable of killing in terms of skill, she makes no effort to seek fights or brag about experience in such fights.

However, she is also observant. She makes a habit of taking in the situation before even speaking, or doing so when spoke to. When she misses something, or is caught off guard, Helena has been known to berate herself for it. But, while it takes much to scare or intimidate her, although there is one thing that she is wary of: The risk of being changed, or used as a meal. Even so, after her first encounter with vampires, it became evident they realized someone was hunting their kind in return. A sneaking suspicion rests at the back of her mind that they're overestimating her, though. At best, she knows she'd only be able to take one at a time in combat and stand a chance of coming out on top. Even keeping this thought to herself, however, it is a high possibility that they'll figure it out quite soon she isn't the same caliber as her father - That does intimidate her.

Her annoyed sarcasm all but vanishes when truly angered, though; Slipping into a stoney facade of resolute and pent up emotion. While she is not stressed easily, it occasionally builds up and leads to illness. If not to that extreme, it is enough to break her usually steady focus and make way for mistakes - Something she abhors to a great extent, knowing the cost of mistakes with the kind of foe she faced.

In spite of this, though, when one manages to get past her shield of ice, she can be soft towards someone. She is awkward with relationships, of any sort, bringing forth the childhood innocence that she never really had. Affection from the opposite gender both embarrasses and touches her (providing it is genuine), as she has never had a relationship before. If someone garners her affections and understanding, she grows to be very protective – Even laying her life on the line if need be.

Other: Helena’s weapons are fairly simple, and only of two variations when excluding physical ones. Her pistol is a semi-automatic Glock 20, and she always keeps two magazines with her. Said pistol is plain steel in coloration, although its bullets are silver coated. Her other weapon is a combat knife, well whetted and polished. Also coated in silver, she is well prepared for the most part.

Human Appearance: In this corner, we have James Franklin, 6' tall and weighing at 185 lbs. Looking very tough with his pen, headphones and set of drumsticks. Living in a small apartment and fighting just to eat, or so it would seem. He is truly a force to be rekoned with. His medium-length black hair is usually hidden behind his bandanna and a pair of headphones.
True Appearance: In the next corner, we have an unknown man of unknown origin. 6' tall and weiging in at 220 lbs, he is packed the the bit with muscle and pure mass. When in his true form, James's hair shrinks down to short-length, and he packs on the muscle to work with his primary line of work: vampire hunting.
History: James Raymond Franklin was, even at a young age, a gifted scholar and athlete. While in his teenage years, although he has much promise, he turned away from God and his overtly-religious family, and finished his last year of high school homeless and got a job as a chef and musician. Taking tips on his raps of political injustices and, once he got enough money, gave up his job and bought his own DJ board, and he started a company called Rhyme without Reason. Today, he lives in a small apartment, and his board is nearly all he owns, besides basic necessities.
Personality: Very outspoken, often saying what he really thinks on his radio station, even if the truth hurts.
