"Alright." Draylin said, turning away. What was so creepy about a castle? He flattened his ears in confusion. It was vast and beautifull in his eyes. He continued to walk and raised his ears when the sound of metal rang behind them. A knight? Draylin frowned. He didnt like knights. He was caught by a couple when he 'Borrowed' fish from the market. He looked through the corner of his eye when the armored man passed, his hand on the hilt of his sword, ready to strike if the man proved dangerous. He knew that Feren had no weapons, and that she couldnt defend herself. He always defended the innocent, unless there was an Orc involved. Draylin shivered. He didnt like Orcs. They were huge, grotesque, and scary.

As the knight passed by, Feren noticed Draylin put his hand to the hilt of his sword.

What a brave man She thought.

The knight's armor gleamed in the sun, brighter than ever against the darkness of the castle in the distance. Feren shivered again as memories began flooding through her mind, despite her greatest efforts to keep them pushed away.

She saw the image of the most frightening thing her memory contained, that dark figure standing over her with his piercing, blood red eyes. She felt the cold metal of the dagger against her throat. She heard the dark man's laugh, deep and horrifying. She had vowed all those years ago to never step foot in that castle again. Why was she so crazy as to even go near it again?

But, one look at Draylin assured her that she would be safe.
