Candice took another bite of her pizza as two of her sisters entered the room. She didn't say anything to either of them she just chewed in silence. She would usually talk to her family but right now she just had nothing to say, well nothing nice came into mind to say so she just kept quiet not having any negative feelings toward either Rhiannon or Becky she didn't want to take anything out on them. She bent down and picked up her can she popped opened the top and took a sip of the soda before placing it back on the floor.

Before Adam or..."Rex" had anything else to say, father's voice echoed throughout the entire house. He had been in the marines before and so Adam knew that everyone in the whole house, maybe even the next door neighbors, heard him shout for a meeting in the living room. Adam placed his soda can on the ground, not interested in carrying it with him to the living room.

"Come on," he said to Rachael, "need to hurry before he grabs the shotgun." He laughed underneath his breath as he walked up the stairs, hoping that the "shotgun" part would scar his new stepsister a bit. He really wasn't out of hatred, it was just something for him to do with absolutely no reason. That's what families are for... he thought as he found the living room.

Taylor, Becky, Rhiannon, and Candice plus one of the stepsisters that Adam hadn't met yet, were all in the living room waiting for him and the others to get there. His father and stepmother were standing side by side waiting patiently for the others. His father motioned for him to take a seat, but Adam politely shook his head, wanting to stand. He didn't like being sat down on the couch as if he was a 13 year old, or a 7 year old like little Becky.

Knowing that this could take a while, Adam pulled his ipod out of his pocket and began listening to it just to pass the time. He crossed his arms and hummed quietly to one of his favorite songs "...Staring down the barrel of a 45..."

Candice finished her pizza as her brother came into the room she got up with the plate in her hand she went to the kitchen and put it in the sink. Then instead of returning to the living Candice went upstairs and got her i-touch and cell phone.She walked back into the living and sat back in the chair. She put the headphones in her ear and put on a random sound not really caring what song was playing. She bent down and picked up her can of soda she drank what was left in the can then put it down and flipped her cell phone open and began texting her friends from back home.

Rex shrugged, putting the cig out on the floor, putting it in her pocket when she made sure it was out. She swallowed most of the soda, and followed Adam upstairs. "Man...he's kinda loud."

She sammed down in front of the couch, crossing her legs in front of her and looking at her mom and stepdad. She huffed, then sipped more of her soda. "So...what's up guys?" He was very loud; why did her mom marry him? Very odd.

She sighed, then jiggled her leg up and down as she waited for the others to come into the living room.
