As the sun begins to fall over the great mountains in the west, Lord Eldor says, "One must not cower in the face of adversity, General. I will avenge my cousin, or against all odds, Join her. We will use a pincer to attack. While the main force acts as a decoy and distracts the enemy, I will lead a secondary force from behind to infiltrate the fortress to strike from behind. If these humans wish to join the Demons in an attempt to destroy us, So be it. The blood of the last Human warrior will be the price. You have been briefed on your mission General. You are dismissed, Lord Frinst, The sun is setting. We will strike soon."
Moving into formation,The Archers in back, Magi on the side,Swordsmen in the middle, and Lancers Behind Lord Lightblade, Eldor gives the order for the Archers to begin attacking the advance force. "Fire attack unit! Incinerate everything to ash that is flammable. Magi! Destroy all that the Fire attack leaves behind! Forward!!" Charging at the enemy advance force, The Elven army plows through the front few ranks and continues attacking, slaying all that attempt to fight back. On occasion, an elf is slain by a human, Only to be slain by another Elf. While the turmoil churns, Eldor Looks for a weak spot in the walls as it would take a few hours for the Magi's attack to finish. Spotting an empty well, Eldor climbs down to find a small cavern that leads into the outer~fortress. Avoiding the moonlight, Eldor stays to the shadows where he moves toward the Inner fortess.

Entering the Great hall of the Fortress, Eldor draws the Blade that was his Namesake, and heads to the Hall of Chronicles where the Major of the fortress was currently located. Entering the Hall, The Major sees him and draws his blade. "What will you gain from my death,Elf?" He spat, Advancing on Eldor.

Raising the Lightblade to his chest, he says, "Closure for my cousin's Death, fool. And when I am finished, Your great fortress will be reduced to ash and stone rubble. Now,let us speak with our Blades in place of these infernal words."

Lunging at the Major, Eldor draws upon his Mana to increase his strength to an unimaginable level. Clashing blades with the major, The Mythril Blade equipped bo the Major shatters, and Eldor, with his free hand, strikes him in the chest knocking Him backward. After striking the wall, the Major slides down, near death. Approaching him, Eldor raises his Blade, "Any last words?"

"Let me live... My men will not attack your people any longer... I dont want to die, I have a family..."

"What men??" Eldor laughs, "I have recieved a Telepathic message from the Magi that alerted me that all the men in this fortress have been Eliminated. All that remains is to eliminate you and all that will be left of the 'Great Fortress of Dragonsbane', Will be Women and small children. Dont worry, they will be brought to safety by my men. We will escort them to Tagiad. And for you not wanting to die, My cousin had family as well, So you should have thought about that before killing her. "Slashing the Legendary Lightblade down, Eldor Severs the mans head from his neck. Exiting the inner fortress, Eldor sees General Frinst and asks, "Are all Innocents Evacuated?"
( After this, Yes.)

Before the general could answer to his superior's question, a loud, spine chilling laugh filled the room, closely followed by a purr of flirtatious delight. "Oh, how very amusing..." Out from the shadows stepped a tall and beautiful young woman. Her sleek, black hair travelled all the way down her back and her saphire blue eyes glinted with malicious glee. Her skin was slightly bronzed by sunlight, or perhaps the firey pits of hell, because the stench of dark aura hanging around her certainly indicated she was a demon. Or at least partly so.

She wore a simple skirt with a slit down one side going all the way down her long, gracious leg, the skirt only staying up because of the belt at the top of the black silk, a belt which was stark white and seemed to be made of bones. To cover her well endowned chest was a collection of even more bones, like hundreds of long, spindly fingers attrached to one another, each of them pointing downwards towards the ground. In the center of this rather short corsage was a skull, elf or human it was hard to decide, but it was definately the skull of a babe.

In fact, all of her jewelery were made of bones. Rounded bone beads made into bracelets and the anklets above her bare feet, three bone necklaces, one atop the other so her swan like neck was safe from any ill experienced blows from a blunt sword. The bones seemed to be screaming in silence, the ghosts of their dead were enslaved to this woman and she had them do her bidding.

"My, my... Aren't we rather ruthless." She spoke to Eldor, her eyes staring deep into his, almsot as if they were staring into his soul. She stood in a seductive position, the leg with the slitted side of the skirt on full view to the two elven men.

{These are mine. The general has no picture.}
---------------
Hearing a laugh that was surely that of a woman's, a seductive purr, he states, "Woman, Leave us. Your spells of seduction will be hard pressed to affect the General or I. That is, Unless you have a new trick up your sleeves..." Looking toward the mountains of Dhoom to the far south, Eldor continues, "Return to your Lord, he will surely be better to entertain with your Black Magic than one that is already a master of the Arcane arts."

The General, in a state of confusion, inquires, "Milord, You know her? Surely you wouldnt associate with a Demon..." Sitting on the ground he awaits a respnse from his liege.

Eldor sighs at the foolish antics from his General. He tired of having to deal with them on a daily basis. "General, This is an order. You are to gather the men, return to Tsunuria, and await my return. Is that understood? We will speak upon my return. I must speak with this woman, as she obviously wishes an audience."

Lord Frinst nods and stands, "It is as you desire, Milord.... I will be waiting in the throne room for further instruction." Walking over to his horse, Iceflame, named so for its distinctive red hue when standing in the snowy wastes of the north, The General rides off to the main camp, where things were being readied for departure.

Eldor sighes at the immaturity of his officers of war, then turns to the woman. "Never thought I would have to see you again... So long it has been that I remember the face, yet not the name. Would you care to tell me your name and your reasoning for taking my time?" Sword arm resting on his blade, as was common for an esteemed warrior to do during a conversation, Eldor continues, "I dont have an eternity to wait..."

The half demon laughed again, the accoustics of the room increasing it ever so slightly, making it seem like the laugh was coming at Eldor from all sides. It was meant to unnerve him, but the woman knew it would only irritate him. She didn't mind, scare him or irritate him, it was all for her amusement. It was a win-win situation, in her opinion.

"Ah, milord," She stated, stepping slowly towards him, each stride calculated and with the grace of a skilled dancer. She came right up to the Elven Lightblade but then turned to go around him, her hand being raised and touching his shoulder, then coming round with her as she circled him. Her fingertips would have tickled the skin from his shoulder, round the back of his neck and to his other shoulder, however the armour did not premit the half cast demon to touch him and for that she was slightly disappointed.

"Why do you not remember me? We were so close..." She wrapped herself around him, the hand on his left shoulder going back round to his right one and her free hand coming to his abandoned left. Half of her well endowned chest pressed into his back and she laid her head in the crook of his neck. "Or at least, I thought so." She smirked at that, her eyes glinting with amusement as she stared at the ground. Her white teeth flashed, like a crocodile grinning at it's prey.

"Fareyu..." She whispered in his ear, raising and turning her head so her lips brushed against his lobe. She grinned again and then her tongue flicked out and licked it. "You know... Lady of the Snakes... The Death Maiden... Witch of the Wildlands... The Half Sucubus... I go by many names and I would think you wise enough to remember them all..."

He remembered her, that was to be certain. The Affair, the slaying of one of his own men in her name, the choice he was posed with, between her and his people, Choosing his people and expunging her from Tsunuria, How could he not remember her? Oh the hatred she must have felt, that she did feel, Eldor could sense it. She professed her love for him just for him to turn her away... Perhaps the prophecy about Leviathans Bane marrying the Lady of the Serpents was not directed toward them. he remembered the prophecy as if it were said to him earlier on this very day. The woman who prophesied it was a known seer, all of her prophecies but this very one had came to fruition...

'The Lady of the Serpents betrothal to the Dragon Lord, Leviathan's Bane, will signal the end of a blood feud turned war...' -Arangilla Tsildas of the Seven Moons.

Unfortunately, the woman was ignorant enough of his powers to not realise that he could sense her pain inside. "Fareyu, I remember you well enough, as even an elf has difficulty controling his heart." Eldor said this knowing it would distract her from her train of thought. "I know your names as well as you know mine. Leviathan's Bane, Wind Strife, Shadow Fear, Dragon Lord, Light Striker, Fist of Chaos and so on and so forth. My names mean little, same with yours. I merely asked for your name to tell me if you had gained spiritual power. I see now that your Tactics have not changed, yet your power has. That may be a problem, especially seeing as how there are Laws in my land prohibiting your return. What further business do you have with me?" Eldor, knowing that he had just thrown down a winning hand, ensured he kept a straight face, because even in cards, another hand must be played, and in the card game that was life, the cards never stop flowing. The Demon was indeed an enchanting one, to be sure, but now he was to wait.

"I want..." She was slow to answer and once again she shifted, stepping to the side so she was directly behind him and her hands slid to touch both of his powerful chest muscles. The sound of his heart beating through the steel armour made her very own skip a beat and she let out a breath, almost like she was amused by her own feelings.

"I wanted to see you, Eldor... I've missed you..." She confessed, pressing her forehead against his armour, at the space where the gap between his two shoulder blades laid. Her hands slid down, meeting round his waist and one took the other's wrist, so that she was embracing him. She tightened her grip, like a boa constrictor giving it's prey a warning squeeze before it choked them. But Fareyu was not here to choke her ex-lover. Her words of confession were true, whether Eldor believed her or not.

"You can probably sense my emotions but... Although it is true I hate you, part of me cannot stop loving you..." This confessional outburst was nothing like the seductive, charming and emotionally secure Fareyu. She couldn't help it, she hadn't seen him for so long, she had missed his touch, his sweet kisses, the way he thought she was asleep when he left her in bed and whispered 'I love you' in her ear... When did that all stop happening? When was it exactly that Eldor's heart was no longer her's, yet her heart was still his? The mood dramatically changed when the Snake Lady took Eldor's hand and led it to her bare leg, which she raised and rubbed against his own. She rested his hand over her smooth, vunereble flesh and smirked to herself.

"I was also wondering... When were you last with a woman, Eldor?"

River Arrowheart had been watching the breaking of camp with the professional eye of one who led an army for years, despite him being quite young for a general. He sat atop Silici, his large war stallion that had seen just as many battles as his master, and would see many more before this war was over. The sounds of clashing metal and shouting reached his ears. He spurred Silici into a gallop towards this, and found some elves fighting a knot of Demons that seemed to have appeared from nowhere.

He pulled his longsword, Geluctus, from its scabbard and pressed his heels into Silici's sides, causing the charger to rear up and kick out his specially sharpened hooves, taking out two of the Demons. The elves that had been fighting the Demons were falling quickly, and River watched the last elf fall to the twisted blade of one of the Demons. As he was watching, another Demon came up from behind and slashed Silici's flank, causing the horse to buck violently. River jumped from the saddle with ease, and Silici ran off. River faced the remaining Demons, ten in all, alone and without support. He laughed a deep, hearty laugh, sounding like a score of deep bells ringing. "You know, this is hardly fair," he said as they advanced on him, "For you."

River proceeded to behead the first Demon, spin around and impale the next in the stomach, block a third's warhammer blow, and slash that Demon's throat, blood spewing from it as it fell. With Geluctus flashing with their dark blood, River charged the remaining seven, cutting them all down quickly, until the last three. They circled him, more organized than their fallen fellows. River smirked darkly, as they all swung their weapons simultaneously. He managed to block one, and remove the arm of another, but the third slashed him across the side, tearing through River's leather armor. He cursed under his breath, and proceeded to eviscerate the Demon who had cut him. The last demon looked frightened, and began to beg for mercy.

"You deserve no mercy, for what you did to these elves," River said, preparing to behead the Demon.
"Wait!" The Demon cried, "If I tell you that the Demons you killed in this battle were only a small fraction of the Dark Lord's Army, and that the rest of the army is already marching towards your capital as we speak, will you let me live?"
River hesitated upon hearing this information, but did not stop to kill the Demon. "No mercy," he muttered as the body fell limp, and the head rolled away. He slid Geluctus back into its sheath and went to find Silici.

River quickly found Silici not far away and calmed the large beast, managing to heal him with a small muttered spell. He jumped atop the charger and spurred him into a gallop towards the keep where Lord Eldor was last seen. He burst into the outer chamber, still atop Silici, long blonde hair flying behind him in a golden sheet and icy blue eyes flashing wildly, still bleeding from the Demon's slash.

"Milord! We must leave immediately, the Dark Lord's real army is marching upon our capitol!"

This grows quite tiring. Her hand is no longer capable of being yours. Why pursue a useless cause, a lost battle? Is it because of a fickle word called Love? You learned long ago that such a thing does not exist. Yes, you know of what the wood speaks. The snake was pushed away by not you people, but you... You have the power to revoke that law, but you havent. You do not love her, you despise her...

The Wood said odd things at times, but it was often seen that the only way to prove it wrong was to change yourself. Walking away from the woman, Eldor says, "I know you not the way I did before, Fareyu. I feel naught but sorrow near you. Perhaps I do love you, but perhaps I do not. If I did, would I have kept the laws in place that keep you from returning to my homeland? Would I have even signed them in the first place? I think not. Perhaps that sorrow is merely hiding the love I feel for you, but I feel it not. Do you understand? I mean not to hurt you further, oh how so I wish to prove the Wood wrong. How it pains me to feel your pain..." Eldor was a master of words. He did love her, That was as true as the fact that he had killed Leviathan. "And to answer your question, None since you."

When the blonde elf on a horse burst into their little conversation, Fareyu slipped away from Eldor, her steps light and dainty, then they slowed, so it was like watching a lioness prowl backwards in slow motion. Her eyes darted to the young elf man and she felt like glaring, but instead she looked upon him with mild curiousity. Then her gaze turned back to Eldor. He was dodging around those three little words like they were the plague, or perhaps a curse, and Fareyu found that most annoying. She hated men who couldn't express themselves properly.

"You must be rather frustrated then... Mustn't you?" Fareyu purred, lowering her eyelids so she was staring at him through her eyelashes. The air seemed to stop around them and Eldor must have felt that was something was creeping up on him... But then it was gone, as soon as it came. Fareyu smirked and the spell was broken. The Lady of the Snakes was not here to plan mind games, only to offer a propersition. She glanced at the blonde elf on the bloody horse again and her tongue slowly moved across her lips.

"Not having a woman around to... fufill your innermost desires anymore..." Fareyu stared at the younger elf for a little longer, looking deep into his eyes, as if she were speaking to him and him alone. She spoke quietly, so that both men would have had to strain to hear her. Then her gaze quickly snapped to Eldor again. "Well?... You should probably go, Eldor... The Demonic Army is approaching." She warned, an excited sparkle dancing in her eyes.

"Unless of course... You think by stalling here you can get infomation from me?..." Fareyu paused for effect, lapping up their emotionless, calculated ractions. Because inside she could tell they were afraid, even just that little bit, and that tiny flicker of fear gave her goosebumps. In a good way. "You think I have important infomation on how the Demonic Army plans to win, how it plans to get to your beautiful city..."

It pained him to think that she believed that she was merely a source of information. Looking to River, Eldor says, "River, they are after my head, not my city. Tsunuria means little to them, and they attack us because they see us as a threat only if I stand at the head of our forces. No, they will not attack Tsunuria, they head north to the Wastes. Why do they go to the wastes, you ask? Simple. The Shadowstone. They know that the only way to kill me is using the Shadowstone in concurrece with both the Blade of the Morning Star and the Shield of the Raven. Therein lies a problem with their plan, as I bear both the Blade of the Morning Star, and a Stone of Luminence, which means their efforts are for naught... You are dismissed."

Looking at Fareyu, a dark laugh goes out past his tongue. "Fareyu, Fareyu, why do you allow me to torment you so? All the time that you were my lover, you tell me that you still cannot understand Elven logic? Need I say it in simpler terms? I do love you, Fareyu. I merely cannot allow love to take precedence over my work. Love and work must remain separate, and as I am working now, I cannot love you. My work is nearly over for now, as is the life of the Law that prevents your return." Walking over to her, Eldor kisses her passionately, and states, "Love is the strongest Magic..."

Faeyu was disgusted. She bit down on his lip to make him recoil from her and then she slapped him across the face, good and proper. "Love is not magic!" She spat at him, her eyes narrowed and dancing with hate. "Love is an illness, one which I have yet to find the cure!" Then she gave him a good, hard shove to make him let go of her and slipped from his grasp, turning and strutting gracefuly away, flicking some of her hair over her shoulder. She was headed towards the stairs.

"I will not take second place, Eldor! You should know I don't settle for second best!" She came to the foot of the starcase and turned to face him, jabbing a finger in his direction. "I will not sit back happily while you choose your work over me. Either I will be your first and foremost priority or this relationship of ours will go no further." She declared, folding her arms and flopping down to sit at the stair, one of her legs folding over the other so her bronzed skin flickered with the tochlight around them.

"Now, until you agree to see me as the most important thing in your life, rather then your pathetic elven crown, then I shall be sitting right here!" The Death Maiden declared, closing her eyes and turning her head away so she did not have to look at him.

River had been sitting atop Cilici relatively calmly throughout the small part of the altercation he watched between the Demon lady and his Lord Eldor. He was panting slightly from the rush of the fight and then the flight to get to Lord Eldor. It took all of River's willpower to not give in to the Lady's seductive glances, and the comment that was seemingly directed at him of his loneliness almost made him give in. He knew exactly the intent of the Demoness, though it was still hard to control his young and restless mind.

He took what Eldor said in silence, saluting in elven fashion before spurring Silici from the outer chamber of the throne room. He did not witness what had taken place between the two after he was dismissed, but a nagging feeling at the back of his mind made him stay close at hand to the fortress.

He dismounted from the tired beast and proceeded to rub Silici down, making sure to relieve the stressed muscles of his loyal steed. He then proceeded to check each of the horse's hooves for any blemishes or bruising underneath the sharpened shoes. He led Silici to a small clearing in the courtyard of the fortress so the charger could eat and rest. The care of his horse done, River proceeded to pull the leather cuirass off of his chest, examining the injury. It was still bleeding profusely and River quickly tore up his tunic and wrapped it around his stomach, staunching the blood.

Silici had finished eating and wandered back over to where River was standing, nuzzling his owner and neighing, seeming to know his master's thoughts. The large horse laid down in the soft grass and River rested his head on the warm belly of Silici. The battle and then the fight afterwards finally took a toll on the young elf, and he soon fell asleep while waiting for his Master Eldor.

A pang of guilt enshrouded Eldor until he realised that he was not the only one wrong. Crimson waters on his lip where she had bitten him, he and looks upon her face. "Fareyu, I cannot abandon these people, as I cannot abandon my cause. These people need me, just as you do. If you cannot accept that..." Sighing deeply, Eldor sits down next to her. Placing his hand upon her cheek, he decides to apologize.

"Im sorry. That was wrong, and we know it both. You are right, As am I. Love is a sickness, I can assure you of that, and even if it weren't, Im quite sure I would not want to be cured of my love for you, but then again, would you? You are right that you should in fact come first, and if it were any other job instead of Commander-General, you would. If I knew a way other than putting you in harms way to incorporate you in my work, know you that I would without a second thought. If you know any way I could, tell me." Wiping the blood from his lip with his free hand, he swears a vow that cannot be broken, "My blood as my vow, I swear to you that you will come first always, My heart yours truly, my love." Pulling the ring he had given her as the ring of betrothal from his pocket, Eldor states, "I believe that vow is sufficient enough. I cannot break it, Therefore, I say this is yours, if you take it..."

Fareyu looked at him, then at the ring down in his hand and felt a knot tightening in her stomach. It was a sorry sight, Fareyu knew she wasn't deserving of such a commitment. Her DNA, half of which was sucubus, didn't allow her to love one man for very long and Fareyu knew she wasn't ready to devote herself to one man alone. So she uncrossed one of her arms and pushed the ring back towards him with her hand.

"I understand that you have other commitments... I'm sorry, I was being selfish..." She confessed, embarrassed and with her gaze low so that her hair fell forward and created a shield between her and him. "Besides, although I love you very much... More than a demon, half cast or full, has ever loved an elf or a human... I'm sorry, but the half sucubus in me cannot let me make such a commitment... At least not yet." She looked him in this eye this time, pushing her hair back so it was held back by her ear. A large hoop earring, most likely made of bone two, came into full view.

"I'm sorry, Eldor. But I can't betrothe myself to you. At least, not yet." And then she stood and the mood drastically changed once more. She stood with her back to him for a while, but when she turned, her eyes were filled with lust and her stance was flirtatious again, her gaze sweeping him up and down slowly. "But that doesn't mean I can't sneak into your pack and we can have some fun once were alone." She smirked and then laughed. "Did you forget I could transform into my namesake, Eldor?"

Remembering a common practice among his people that could in fact mean her death if she decided to enter Tsunuria as a serpent, Eldor shudders, pushing the thought far into the depths of the Void. "My love, I am afraid I cannot allow that. Ever since I originally banished you, the men of the village take any snakes they find and kill them by burning them, freezing them and then hammering off the Ice. A vast majority of the Guard is on my orders to search all that enter the city, enemys may well attempt to impersonate me, So even I am to be searched. It would be best to take you to the city as is, less risk, For if they find a snake in my saddlebags It will mean you will be killed, And if you go like so, my people will not recognize you, and you will be under my protection. We must be off if we are to return..."

Six small lights emerge from the hilt of the Lightblade, a signal that he was Summoning a portgate from the Void. A portgate would take them anywhere, so long as there was a Master of Black Magics to control it and Eldor fit the bill perfectly. Throwing the gate open, He pulls her with him into the void.

Fareyu cried out in protest, then pushed herself back towards the portal end they had jsut entered. Eldor's grip on her slipped and she fell onto her backside. She glared up at the portal just as it closed. She picked herself up from the floor and brushed herself down, straightening up to fold her arms over her chest and glare at the space where the portal had been. If looks could have killed, then that space of air would have been pierced serveral times by her angry blue eyes.

"Idiot..." She muttered under her breath, before glancing around in case he would suddenly pop up again. "Didn't even give me a choice. A woman has to pack her things before making such a journey." She threw her arms down and then spun on her heel, heading towards the door where the bloody elf and his wounded horse had disappeared out of. "Besides, though things make me feel all inside out when I come out the other end."

Fareyu strode purposefully, but then stopped and took a few steps back when the a battalion of soldiers came into view. They were packing up, wandering round and inspecting the dead. Fareyu stayed hidden behind a marle pillar before her form shifted and she re-appeared as a medium sixed black snakes with bright, dark blue eyes. She slithered throughout the camp, confident that even if the elven men did see her through teh dark, they wouldn't have killed her. This wasn't Eldor's snake protected country.

She tasted the air with her tongue, sniffing out teh blood she has smelt before in her humani form. Then she travelled quickly, being sure not so slip over something that wasn't the dark blood stained grass. She wasn't taking any chances; being reborn in Hell was no tea party. She found him, sleeping peacefully while he waited for his master, who had already left him. She quickly checked for anyone around, then slipped into her humani form and walked up nest to him, crouching down to lie down behind him. She presed her body against his, then wrapped her arms round his neck in a romantic embrace. She ran her nose and lips along the skin of his neck and then whispered in his ear seductively.

"Hello there, handsome..."

River jumped as soon as he felt cold hands wrap around his neck, sliding a dagger as if from nowhere. He didn't relax as he heard the sound of the Demoness' voice in his ear, her lips on his neck. The large gray horse snorted and jumped to his feet when he felt his master moving quickly. River's head slammed into the soft grass, though he recovered quickly, holding the dagger near the Demoness' throat. He was worried about what she had done to his master, and didn't care about the suggestive approaches on him.

"What have you done with my master?" He asked as soon as he recovered from his shock.

At her throwing herself out of the void, Eldor thought, Why is she refusing to come with me? Is the void too dangerous for her? I will follow her and ask. Reopening the void at the very point he originally opened it from, Eldor walks to the main camp, Shattered by what he sees.

Do my eyes decieve me? No. She thought I was gone, and thus tried to woo another man of my family tree. My Lieutenant-General at that! There will be severe reprocussions for this. The Lord Captain Commander of the Tsunurian Throne will not be used!

Approaching the enchantress, Lord Lightblade says, "General, She has done nothing but decieve my heart. I am well, and I thus issue you an order, Not as your king, but as Lord Captain Commander. You are to gather the masses. We return to Tsunuria at once. You are hence dismissed to follow through on your Orders."

Turning to the Enchantress Fareyu, A shadowy look of grief, anger, and depression enshrouds his face. "Fareyu, how like you to do this after I turn my back on you. If I may ask, Why? You knew I would learn of this from River."
