The scenario: After checking into some coastal hotel of questionable quality the night before, you awake in a much softer and plush bed. Thinking to have just remembered how the bed was last night wrong, you don't take real note of it. Then you look around the room, and you know now that you are not in the same room you were in last night. Instead of the typical hotel set up, with a TV and nightstand, you find yourself in a rather homely bedroom. Beautifully painted portraits line the walls, enhanced by decorative plants between them. There are dressers, chests, drawers that you've never seen before along one of the walls, lined with more pictures and smaller plants. There's a vanity mirror hanging on a wall behind a desk, strangely covered with some fabric. Pulling yourself out of the bed, your feet drop into a delicate carpet, of quality too high for any seedy hotel to use. It was as if you died and went to the guest room of some manor. A preposterous idea, but it would explain your situation. You walk toward a plant, it's breaming with life, it isn't plastic, growing off the sunlight flowing in through the many windows. You look outside but see nothing, just blank whiteness. How odd. You turn around and see a wooden door along the opposite wall, standing in pristine stillness, as if it had never been moved before. Of course that couldn't possibly be the case. You venture forth, letting your hand glide across the frame before turning the knob and opening the door. On the other side is a rather empty hall, only one door opposite you, the others along the same wall. One by one they open too, and other confused people walk out, wondering what is going on. You recognize some, the receptionist who checked you in. The room service guy. And there's other people too, possibly other tenants at the hotel. Suddenly the lights flicker off and on, and a voice screams. One of you is missing.
As you can tell, I thought I'd try a horror-like roleplay. I figured it couldn't hurt.
Map of the house:

(Currently the bottom floor bed room and study are locked, as well as the arboretum. The random perpendicular lines represent doors, I know it's poorly done, but, meh, it works. Oh, and the railroad like things are stairs. One more thing, the hall with the bed rooms on the top floor can extend further to make room for more people depending on how many join.)
Anyway, after looking around, it seems I need some sort of char sheet. And here it is. Do keep in mind that even though there are some strange goings on, that you are just a normal person. Maybe you're interested in the occult or aliens, but you don't hang out with spirits or on UFOs.

(*Before the start of the roleplay all our characters for their own reasons had checked into some hotel. It's not really important why they were there, but it is important that they were there.)
Edit: After looking at the map, I realized I forgot to put a door in between the dining room and the living room. Just pretend there's one there for now.
