Yuki looked over at Bruno after hearing what Liao had said, she did in fact agree with him on what he had said, but it was difficult. She couldn't just drop her emotions right then and there, but she knew that she could fight through them and make herself strong by just the thought of being able to hug her youngest brother, Meko, again.
She had found it strange, though, to hear Bruno speak without sarcasm in his voice, but she gave him a weak smile, as if to say thank you without words. She did not need them, even if her smile was as watered down wine, it was still there for a moment or two.
Though it made her wonder, hearing that Bruno had lost his sister too, how many had been torn from their homes and families and been forced to live apart, in worry and in fear. She looked from Liao who had been answering the question that Bruno had posed. Yuki herself was quite interested in this idea and hoped, that perhaps, there might be a way that she could help, just to get back and see her siblings.
But as her eyes turned back to Bruno she put her hand on his shoulder, not knowing whether he was fond of human contact or not, and she opened her mouth to speak. It took a second or two for words to come but finally they did.
"As sarcastic as you may seem, I understand why. It's hard having to worry about someone else above yourself, especially when you love them and then see them taken away. Though it's a horrible thing, I'm glad that someone else understands it." She said, unsure as to whether this would be the right thing to say. Yuki was a girl of deep thought, though timid and seemingly fragile, she was able to read people and their emotions, maybe not on a logical level, but in a way that at least meant that she could now take the sarcasm from Bruno. She knew his reasons, it was his way of coping. While she curled up in a ball and kept to her thoughts, Liao did similar by observing too, but on the logical calm level that Yuki couldn't quite attain and Bruno lashed out with his tongue and wit.
It was simple for her not to feel hurt by anything that Bruno said as she knew it was most likely his frustration talking. She felt it too, that weighing down where you're trapped and unable to do anything, with no control or idea as to what is happening to you and those you love. It's a tough thing to handle, regardless as to whether you have five kids to look after or just one.
"Liao," Yuki looked forward, rather than at anyone, she was curious about something. "I wouldn't mind helping you escape, but even if I did, how would I be able to find the children?" She had a thought that maybe they were taken to all the same place, that maybe it would be simple enough just to find that place and maybe find Bruno's sister, too. Maybe if Bruno thought about it too, it might put him into a mind about helping, if escape was actually at all possible?
