Optimus Prime patrolled Autobot city. He stressed he would never give a soldier an order that he himself would not carry out, and sometimes he liked to put his axiom to the test, and what better time than now when he was not needed elsewhere. So he drove, and he cherished this time to think.
Optimus knew he had done what was right, always what was right, but what about the future. Cybertron was all but a lost cause; maybe his species was done for, destroyed by the irreparable chasm between the two races, Autobot and Decepticons. Earth’s moon gleamed against Prime’s windshield. There was always a choice, the transformers could switch sides, so perhaps annihilation was not the only outcome of this war, but the decepticons seemed beyond him, even more stubborn they were in their malicious deeds, than Autobots in their beneficent commitment. Rubble rocked Prime’s suspension. It wasn’t always easy to be upstanding, so the weak and ignorant would always bolster the Decepticon army, so the Great War would always be. Why was it that at every turn Megatron sought to restore Primes home planet, and Prime was forced to stop him. Optimus could not tell when the last time a Decepticon prisoner was taken, it was before his time. Megatron called him weak, he who bore the burden of running the Cybertronian spices into the ground. Prime changed gears while going up hill.
Megatron, of course, thought himself too good for this mantle, and so he continued, the mighty, and honorable leader of the Decepticons. He had to be stopped, shown better.
Prime rounded a bend and found a tiny human silhouette his high beams projected against a starry curtin . The human stood on a distant knoll, an area that was spanned easily by the Semi. His patrol had yielded something. Prime slowed as he approached, and transformed. He now towered behind the puny but cherished human life, so young, so vibrant, so beautiful, it made Prime think of what was to come of humanity, she was the first of two worlds a daughter of earth, but a denizen of Cybertron. She was, after all, here, now, an honorary Autobot.
He said nothing, just walked up and stood beside her, joining her to view the stars. Then he transformed and opened the door to his cab.

(( Being in a closed RP like this makes me feel like I'm in the Autobot-Insignia-for-an-avatar club))
Let's make something wonderful.
