Cecilia sighed deeply. "... Alright," she said, and turned, leaving with the blanket wrapped around her.

She was heading to the radio, but luckily, Hyde happened to catch her eye over by the wreckage. And so did the fight.

She squinted over at the situation, and then, she saw Hyde fall flat on his face. Fucking perfect. She stomped over, ready to line anyone and practically everyone out. This was not the damn time for FIGHTING.

----------------------

Kel, meantime, was watching the fight boil over. Oh. Oh no. They couldn't fight, not at a time like this - a-and they were just trying to move it so they could fix the captain's quarters. And then, the new Avian came over and got involved. She had to say something.

She came up behind Damien, rather distressed. "P-Please, everyone, we're just trying to move it-"

"What the hell is this, a tea party?"

Kel turned and saw a furious, furious Cecilia. She hadn't seen her this mad in a long time. In truth, it was a combination of her husband's injury and the entire situation at hand - the fact they were arguing at all just sparked the fire. "Oh... Lady Cecilia, it's just a misunderstand-"

"I'll tell you what's a fucking misunderstanding," she spat. "The fact this rust bucket isn't out of the damn WAY by now. Into gear. You two," she said, pointing at the Besterians. "Don't know who the hell YOU are, but you either help or get the fuck off the ship. And YOU," she said, pointing at Lunatic. "You come with me. I need some help."

One more order of business - the passed-out body on her floor who had previously been her assignment. She stuck her head out of the door that was BARELY holding on. "Two medics!"

Medics that were currently watching turned in her direction. They argued amongst themselves for a minute - which set Cecilia off - and soon two of them came running.

"One of you stay here and take care of that," she said, motioning in Hyde's direction. "The other, come with me. We have a downed pilot that most likely needs medical attention." The medics nodded and set to work, tagging along with Cecilia, who tugged on Lune. "You're gonna help with THAT, by the way. We need to find him. Can you track worth a shit?" she said, looking down.

Kel whined a little, then jumped on her job, kicking into high-speed to take the ship apart. Geeze. Things were so going downhill at the moment. She glanced at Damien and gave him an exasperated look, wondering if he was thinking the same thing.

Suddenly, the plane landed. Malouf couldn't see. People were yelling and moving with haste as a body hit the floor. Malouf sat there bleeding. He would've yelled if he cared.

He didn't know why he went in the direction of the ship. Those moments were foggy to him. He knows now that he dropped his last memory of his mother when the plane he was strapped to was under attack. He'll never find it again.

He closed his eyes and tried to picture her face. He couldn't. He hated himself because he couldn't, but he couldn't shed a tear. His heart was numbed by the vicious blizzard of events that happened within the last twelve hours. He heard footsteps approach him, very close to him. He decided it might make a difference to someone if he warned them.

"It seems there's a troop of bandits in the direction we came. Don't waste your time on me. If I really care, I'll manage."

Her ears picked up fighting on top of the ship and Aithne couldn’t help but push closer to the tree. She never handled fighting well, unless it was her doing the fighting. When older individuals fought, it made her feel like running and hiding. That was probably the case because she had witnessed a ton of fights that started out with screaming and ended in death. Too many people had died around her and on top of her and she didn’t want to see it happen anymore. Not only that, there were bandits in the forest and she didn’t even know if the people aboard the ship were going to let the two of them stick around. Hell, she didn’t even know if Rakemund would even want to continue being around her. After all, the only thing she caused the poor man was pain and annoyance. Then there was the business with her brother and the person who wanted to buy her. Things were definitely most sticky and quite annoying.

About to slink behind the tree, Aithne watched as a few people left the ship, heading in the direction of smoke rather quickly. Wondering if they were going to where a plane crashed, she peered as far as she could before returning her attention towards Rakemund, watching him get all fixed up. Once sure that he was going to be okay, she put her forehead against the trunk again and sighed softly, trying to keep from jarring her ribs and arm. The thing of medicine remained beside her, untouched and unwanted. Before she knew it, she felt someone behind her and it took her a couple of minutes to realize it was her guardian.

"That is a good question. What do we do? Are we to lay here and whimper or do we want to move forward? Personally, I'd like to see tomorrow and travel the globe."

He had a point even if she didn’t want to believe it. She couldn’t continue to pout and worry about whether or not she was ever going to find her brother. No, she needed to focus on the current situation and determining who wanted her and why and then take out the threat. Though, traveling the globe sounded fun, especially if it was with him. Turning around, she smiled a little bit, wrinkling up her nose.

“…Can I travel the globe with you? Or do you want to get rid of me and go off on your own? I mean… I know I’ve been a painful inconvenience for you and all, but… I feel safe when you’re around.”

Damien sighed as the adrenaline rush from the anticipated punch-up (or wrench-up, in this case) was interrupted by a whole smorsgabord of people, including the boss's lady herself. He buried his head in his hands, trying to stop himself from shooting everyone in the room. After a few deep breaths, and through gritted teeth, slowly spoke to his Besterian counterpart. "You heard her. Help me get this hunk of junk to the hangar, or get out." Shoving past her, he grabbed his spanner from the pilot's hands.

Resuming his work on the plane, Damien felt a pair of eyes on him. With a quick turn, he found them to be Kel's. With another sigh, he sidled up next to her, taking care to avoid Julias' blood on the floor, he rested his head on her shoulder for a moment. What could she be thinking about right now?

“…Can I travel the globe with you? Or do you want to get rid of me and go off on your own? I mean… I know I’ve been a painful inconvenience for you and all, but… I feel safe when you’re around.”

The thought to tease her was quick to come, but slowly faded. Blue eyes merely looked down, coming off the tree where his frame would be supported by the heels beneath his rear. A quizzical look etched on his face. Aithne really wanted to go with him, egh? A painful inconvenience, hmm? No. Just - no. Rakemund shook his head as to answer, but it were quite the opposite.

"You're going to have to if we ever plan on finding that brother of yours." He stated, slipping that one arm back through its sleeve and unfurling the shirt to soon be tucked back into place.

"Inconvenience? Not sure what you're talking about. I blame karma. Next time I think about doing something wrong, I'll picture another youngster coming to shoot me every time! If nothing else, quite a motivator." Rakemund beamed a crooked smile.

Now, bustling movement and yelling could be heard from behind. It seems as though some of the crew members were in dispute about something and one fellow was yelling for the medic. Even though bandits or worse haven't shown up, the testosterone here was raging and about to get out of hand. Rakemund would hate to think what it'd be like to fight untold numbers of villains with people that couldn't even refrain from fighting with themselves. Still, the plane had landed and no doubt, the pursuers would arrive within' minutes.

So far, nothing was playing out to their favor. And if things continued as is, then they'd be overtaken. So, without trying to alarm Aithne, though she seemed bright enough to figure all this out on her own without being told, came to rise, dusting off his clothes and standing at a side. Those sapphire hues went from her to the ship and back, giving notion to return.

"Come. There's no need for us to stray away from the ship." He commented, waiting only until she were in front of him before following. That is, if she were to comply.

"So, while we're exploring the globe and making our duo well known by various means, what is it that you'd like to do as far as finding your brother goes?"

Hearing his name yelled at the top of someone's lungs, Ethan began climbing back up the rope he came down on. "You'll both be fine, just make sure you keep her rested..." This was a busy day for the medic, he wanted nothing more to sit back, relax, and take some of his wonderful Ethan-ol, since there wasn't anything else to put him under. "What is it no-" The sight of a bloody Julias dying on the ground. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! You injure yourselves MORE in a DAY than MOST in a YEAR!" Ethan must have been getting annoyed, this much use of his powers in such a short time was rather straining on a person. Without a second thought, he ran his hand over where he thought the man was wounded, and began looking for bullets in the pilot's flesh. Pulling out the lead, he then had to stop the bleeding, liquid crimson was everywhere, and it wasn't slowing down anytime soon. It had taken a minute or two, but he finally got the blood loss down to a manageable rate. From there, he closed the wound, and mixed up another remedy. "Get him to bed, and give him this. I have more people to help..."

Angelo quirked a brow at Ezra. Sends them out into the world? Wasn’t that extremely dangerous? He couldn’t figure that one out, so... he’d ask her.

“Sends you out so you don’t make asses of your self? That sounds... stupid, and reckless. Because you could end up in a situation like this.” He said with a small chuckle, responding her to her until she started rambling. Angelo stared at Ezra and then looked away. He had to think for a moment. How was he going to handle this?

He did what he thought was right.

Angelo stopped suddenly, putting his hands on her shoulders and stopping her. He turned her so that she was looking at him.

“You’re plenty brave. Of all the places you could have gone for your little... experience, you chose an AIR PIRATE ship. That takes stones.” Angelo said, taking a deep breath in through his nose. “And to answer your question, I... don’t know.” Angelo said, releasing her and walking again.

Lune had been running around like a chicken with his head cut off after he'd been ordered to find Ethan. This was the second time he'd been ordered to do so but both times something key had been failed to be mentioned to him, he had no idea what Ethan looked like. When he did eventually see someone helping the bloody mess that was Julias he bolted over to the stranger crouching and watching the work be done. "Oh please tell me you're Ethan. I'm supposed to be helping him but I can't find him! If you're not could you at least tell me where he is?"

Looking back he saw quite the ruckus going on near the wreckage as apparently the pilot punched the engineer and he did nothing about it. But it seemed like 'Demon Bitch' was already on the scene taking care of the fight so he'd just stay out and not piss off more people. Fiddling with his hands as he awaited the medic to answer him he stared down at the injured Julias clueless. Sure he knew how make a splint or to bandage up a wound and a few herbs that grew in the wild for diseases but he was no medic. How exactly was expected to help one? By running around finding injured and giving the poor man an even greater workload?

Zieg was nodding in agreement with Kira as they both stood up to Damian and his ship destroying ways. Watching as the man once more tried tearing apart their ship before... leaning his head on a girl's shoulder? This was too much for Zieg to handle so grabbed a random piece of what was formerly a wing but long enough to be a blunt weapon he leaped at the man screaming and swinging, "What did we say about touching our ship!? Trying to mock us by playing lovebirds with the girl!" He didn't notice the pipe had already left his grasp after connecting with another poor unfortunate soul as he swung at Damien with air only to stare at his empty hand. "Where did our stick go?"

_________________________________________________________________________________

Nykca had been doing her rounds on the ship still in the costume she had worn earlier but not it was dirtied and made Nykca sad, not that you could tell by her smiles. Still there was work to be done so she was scurrying about helping everyone she got to. Things were going well enough, none seriously injured yet until she saw Ethan huddled over a bleeding Julias with a host of people nearby. "Oh no did he wreck his ship?" Walking forward Nykca was about to offer Ethan help but found herself stopping short as a random object bounced off the top of her forehead sending the girl on her back. Blinking slowly she got up trying to shake off the dizziness to no avail. Putting a hand to the injured spot she could feel a warm liquid touch her skin which upon inspection was in fact blood. "Oh dear, I do believe I'm bleeding."

The first thing she caught was the expression upon his face followed by the motion of his head. While his mouth said yes, the shaking of his head said no. Which would she believe? In all honestly, she would probably accept what came out of his mouth, but wouldn’t forget that he meant to say no. Why he didn’t just say what he meant was beyond her, but at the moment she wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth or however that saying went. Snatching the medicine, she thought about punting it far away from her, but opted to keep a hold of it just in case it really was needed. Aithne couldn’t help but wonder why he was so adamant in finding her brother. Then again, it was probably so he could finally be rid of her. Or maybe he agreed to take her along so that he could sell her after gaining her confidence. Paranoid? Yes, just a little bit.

"You'll both be fine, just make sure you keep her rested..."

The medic spoke up, nearly sending her out of her skin. The young girl had totally forgotten about him and that was not a good thing, especially in such a dangerous environment. Sticking her tongue out at him in an absolutely childish move, she thought about smarting off, but decided not to. Watching him slip back up the rope, she walked over to it, prodding a bit at it. There were times where she acted like she was nothing more than a child and this was definitely one of those instances. Humming a bit beneath her breath, she walked away from the rope and stood beside Rakemund, peering up at him as he indicated that they should remain close to the ship. Hell, she knew better than to wander away because the bandits were angry folk and were undoubtedly searching the forest for her, which was not a good thing.

"So, while we're exploring the globe and making our duo well known by various means, what is it that you'd like to do as far as finding your brother goes?"

Wrinkling up her nose, Aithne thought long and hard about his question because it was a good one. How would she go about locating her brother? Up until this moment, she had been following tips, but something told the five year old that she was being led the entire time. Sniffing the medicine while pondering, she gagged and pushed it away from her. Figuring that he was waiting on a response from her, Blade glanced back towards him and shrugged.

“I dunno… I guess just ask around in different bars or seedy places that he might be hanging out in while attempting to earn some money? I thought you might have some good suggestions since you’ve been around longer than me.”

The mage was just mentally cursing herself for being so utterly awkward and flighty in conversation. She really needed to work on being somewhat charming or at least interesting. Ezra was about to defend the choices of the academy to send its students out into the world when she felt his hands on her shoulders. A yelp emitted her lungs when he turned her to face him. Suddenly he was trying to encourage her and hell Angelo even called her brave. Nervously the girl gave him a weak smile before glancing at the deck.

An almost overwhelming sense of guilt and shame washed over her as the soldier continued speaking. The air ship wasn't her first choice or even a thought when she put in the request. In fact she had meant to request an internship for 'The UCO Archaeological Society' but instead she checked 'UCO Airship Program' by accident. To this day the girl still couldn't figure out how she misread the form, but apparently she did. That mistake brought the mage to this very moment, and well it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. Still Ezra felt out of place and telling anyone of them that her being on the ship was a mistake would be out of the question. So instead if the girl was asked why she joined the airship she would give them a stretched truth: she wanted the experience.

Trying to figure out something to say the girl looked back up at the man just as he went to walk away answering her last question. Ezra stood there for a moment a bit puzzled before quickly going to catch up with him. “Well..umm...maybe you're not supposed to know yet.” Ezra shrugged a bit, “And as for the academy you either face the danger now or a year later right? Its better to get it out of the way when you have the academy behind you...I mean who would seriously consider hiring a young mage girl on her own? And well if something does happen to me...the academy will take care of it. I never honestly thought about my life being in danger.”

Cecilia stopped, then turned around, and slapped the back of Lune's head. "I said follow me, bird-brain. You failed the 'help Ethan' mission." She turned and headed off again, and stopped on the side of the ship, craning her neck.

"... Two new people. God, did we land in the 'People to Bother Me' forest? Ugh." She wadded up her skirts in one hand, descended quickly from the ship.

"Alright, now, Lunatic," she said, looking around the forest. The crashed plan wasn't in sight, apparently. "What do you do? Other than be a thorn in my side?"

---------------------------------

Kel blushed slightly (which was just a darker blue) when he put his head on her shoulder. She giggled some. Yeah, I'm tired too, she thought. See, this girl just didn't get it.

And then the crazy guy swung a pole at them. All right. That was it. It took a LOT to make Kel snap, and Zeig had just managed it. She walked over to Zeig.

"What is WRONG with you!" she exclaimed, exasperated. "We're trying to MOVE your ship and HELP when we could just shove it off, and you're trying to attack us! And-" She noticed Nykca. "And you just hit this poor girl! Oh my God, are you alright?" she said, dropping to her knees.

Upon closer inspection, uhm... she HOPED it was a girl. Either way, she moved her hair to inspect the wound. "Nn... I think you'll be okay," she said. "Or at least I hope. Our medics are pressed right now. A lot of injuries after the ship crashed."

It took a bit for Rakemund to respond as he had just retrieved his former boomerang, tucking it behind him, between brown cloths. He wanted aboard the ship and the quickest route was going up the rope, but as those sapphire pools gazed along its length they fell on a Mistress overlooking them and soon to their level. The lady and friend seemed to pay no mind to Aithne and Rakemund, so he paid none to them, taking it upon himself to climb the rope and board their ship whether they willed it or not. Those sapphire spheres dropped down to Aithne who was smelling the medicine.

"Are you calling me old? Because it looks like that lady there has been around the world a few times." An index finger pointed to the lady who had just descended. A small joke to lighten the mood. If not for Aithne, then for himself. He smiled.

Now then, lowering that pointing finger Rakemund took it upon himself to step on pass two newcomers and to that rope. First the right hand gripped it, tugged it, getting a certain feel for the rope. Though sight wasn't on the rope or anything around, but rather at the placement of his own right side. The angles of degree in which he'd assume if climbing the rope with one arm. Rakemund didn't like it and opted for the left instead. Though, why just one arm?

"So then, up we go." He kneeled, extending the right arm. "This'll prove to be entertaining."

Rakemund obviously meant Aithne was to be carried up the rope in one arm, right right arm, while he ascended with the left. A quick scheme had already formulated as to what to do when on deck.

Kira looked at the others when the entered the ship. She growled lowly when some idiot had called her a furball, it was true she was a besterian. However, it was highly insulting. She looked over to the woman who had told her to help out or get out, and just went off to do the work ignoring the others in the process. The less problems the better. She just wanted the plane done.

She turned to Zeig, seeing him run off to go after the guy and sighed deeply. She walked over to Zeig, and spoke softly,"Zeig....." then she rose he voice and smacked him upside the head with her wrench."DON'T BOTHER WITH THE LOVEBIRDS AND GET TO WORK!!" She then walked off spinning her wrench in her paw, her fury still not settled.

The fact that the word 'lovebirds' had been used twice to refer to him didn't bother Damien much, as he was still in a state of slight shock from the events that had just transpired. Firstly, the Besterian pilot had lunged at him, narrowly missing his scrotum as he rolled to his side to avoid the flying mass of fur while screaming "What the hell ass balls?!" Not one of his finer moments. Then, Kel, in an surprising show of nerve, unleashed a hail of verbal abuse upon the pilot. As a final touch, the other engineer then slammed her wrench into said pilot's head.

Shifting back into focus, Damien sat back at the side of the wreckage, and reached into the engine, pulling out gears, pistons, and other varied components. He couldn't help but notice the parts were grimy, and in dire need of maintenance. "This engine needs nothing less then a complete overhaul. When was the last time you took it in for servicing, flyboy?"

“…Two new people. God, did we land in the ‘People to Bother Me’ forest? Ugh.”

Shifting her gaze somewhat, Aithne stared at a very cranky lady who was obviously talking about the two of them. It didn’t matter though, because they weren’t going to be on the ship forever and it was the lady’s fault that the ship crashed in the forest. Well, it probably wasn’t her fault, but the ship crashing definitely messed up her plans. Hissing in pain, Blade watched the lady and another individual following after her. The two headed into the forest, and the small child didn’t pay them anymore attention. Her male guardian had meanwhile retrieved his boomerang, and seemed to be content about it, which was slightly odd. Still, the two were still on the ground with everyone else save for the bandits, the two that just left and anyone else in the forest on the ship. That just wasn’t acceptable and apparently he felt the same.

Hnn… How am I going to get up there? I can’t leap up that high and I doubt I’m strong enough to climb the rope with just one arm.

Wrinkling up her nose, Aithne tried to think of an option, but nothing was coming to her mind. Sniffing the medicine again, she finally drank some of it, a scowl crossing her face. The stuff was disgusting to say the least and if she had to drink it more than once, shit was going to fly. Shoving the container into her pocket, she paced nearby the ship. She was starting to get antsy and if something didn’t happen soon, she was going to go crazy. Flicking her tongue against her teeth, Blade stared up at the sky, listening to the sounds all around her. Up on the ship people were screaming at each other and she honestly wasn’t so sure she wanted to be around such angry people. However, it was better than being captured by bandits and being sold to some slave trader.

”Are you calling me old? Because it looks like that lady there has been around the world a few times."

Blinking at Rakemund, Aithne giggled before stiffling it due to her pain. Of course, she couldn’t stifle it long and before long, she was snickering. The relief that came with releasing some anxiety that had built up did wonders and it wasn’t long before she was quiet again. The only thing that was different was the enormous grin upon her face. Watching Rakemund tugging on the rope, she wondered if he was going to leave her. Paranoia seeped into her very depths and she started to scoot towards him, but paused after the third step.

“Wa----“

Aithne stopped mid-word as he switched from his right arm to his left. It appeared he was having a bit of problems deciding how to climb up the rope. Either that or it was mocking him, which might have been the case. Giggling again, unable to help it, she pictured the rope swishing from side to side on purpose and making faces at him. Biting on her bottom lip when the pain became too much, Blade peered at him as he knelt down to the ground, glancing at her. It took her a couple of minutes to discover why he was extending his right arm towards her, but the light bulb clicked on, which resulted in an ‘oooh’ expression. Well, that and he mentioned that they were going up.

“Hmm, okay!”

Walking over to him, Aithne slid into his arm. She then wrapped her uninjured appendage around his neck so that she’s able to hold on closely and to keep from falling. Closing her eyes tightly, the five year old pressed her face against his shoulder, trying to block out what was about to happen. It wasn’t that she was afraid of heights, but something made her uncomfortable when it came to being lifted into the ar out of her control.

Angelo thought for a moment, and shrugged.
“Frankly, I don’t believe it really matters when it happens… it’s what happens that leads up to it.” Angelo told her with a smile, not picking up on anything that would tell him that she was guilty. It made sense.

Sort of.

She was good enough at hiding it, or so it seemed. Then again, Angelo wasn’t the best at picking up details like that. Rather, quite the opposite. He was horrible, unless it really stood out. And if someone was lying horribly – then, he could tell.

Angelo listened to what she said. He thought about it for a moment…

“Well, I suppose you’re right. I… honestly wouldn’t hire a mage who didn’t know what she was doing, especially with no real experience. I wouldn’t put my money and life in your hands. Fortunately, I just have to put my life.” Angelo said a bit playfully. He was just giving her a hard time in reality. He hardly knew her, yet on this ship there was a genuine sense of trust – you had to, to some degree.

Other wise in some of these battles, you’d go insane.

She blushed going to grip her staff a bit tighter before giving him a nervous smirk, “Yeah...ha..just your life...” The girl decided to push that very thought to the very back of her mind. It wasn't that the mage didn't trust her powers, but the fact she might have to save someone's life was a bit overwhelming. So Ezra only coughed looking at her gloves, “Though...Ethan has saved more lives through magic than I ever will.” The fact she was more capable of destroying lives than saving them was another thing the girl decided to keep secret for now. Her eyes trailed back over Angelo's form, “Are you sure you didn't need him to cheek you out at all? I mean you don't look hurt, but you um never know right?” She turned a bit looking over Angelo's form as she silently searched for any wounds. “If you wanted I could-...” Her voice trailed thinking she heard shouting off in the distance that sounded like Lady Cecilia. Ezra turned her head to see the woman out and about on deck. “Hmm...that was quick wasn't it?” The girl blurted the words out loud not even thinking about how the fact it wasn't very polite to say. Still, usually the captain and his wife would be longer when they were together in their room.

Blood loss... Malouf was getting weary, and his rigid body was slowly softening. The tiredness was setting in, and he began slipping...

Suddenly, his entire leg and hip were shot with ridiculous, stupid amounts of pain.

Malouf screamed. He wished he was a stoic, it was absolutely humiliating. Apparently, when he was dozing off due to blood loss he slipped and the piece of glass lodged in his leg hit a bolt and began tearing through his leg. He was completely restrained, so he couldn't move himself back up. He tried magically cutting at one of the straps holding him to the ship away, but only got halfway. His weight tore the rest, and he tumbled to the ground, bleeding and trying to stop calling attention to himself.

Finally, he decided all this pain just wasn't worth it.

He limped over to a group of people who were yelling and shouting amongst themselves over a plane, and shifted himself in accordance to the nearest light source for the best halo effect he could manage.

"Hey." he said, his well-practiced 'charm' face and gentle grin armed and at the ready. "Could you point me to the ship's medic? You should have one... and..." his countenance and body slackened, and he toppled to the ground, dirt sticking to his face from the sweat and blood.
