It may look like we talk alot and are far ahead in the story, but we're not. We've only just started, so if you want to join, please do. We could still use more people. THIS RP WILL ALWAYS BE OPEN TO NEW CHARACTERS/PEOPLE.

A little note before you read : I will be strict concerning the shapeshifters, so if you choose to be one, please check with me before posting. I will be reading every post and will let you know if something should be changed, and I will expect it to be changed. Other than that, I will be lenient on your characters.
I would like for IC each post to be at least ONE paragraph, though sometimes even that may be difficult depending on others' posts. This will be an active thread, so please try to keep up.

Shenna Rai's Sisters: Sisters are the term she uses for the females of her clan.

Shifter's Forest - Ruler : Shenna Rai
This forest borders Arithillia Soulbane XIII's Kingdom. It is inhabited by Shenna Rai's clan and is often avoided by the humans nearby. Occasionally, a soldier will enter these woods looking for some lost citizen of the kingdom, but never without a magic user. The shifters themselves are avoided except by those who have the skills to handle them in a battle.
World Map :
I'd like for each person to place their villages, kingdoms, and whatnot on the map. Simply copy and paste this image into Paint (or another program). Place a large dot on your location and send it back to me. Ask me for my e-mail so that you can send it, or just put it in the OOC thread.
1 - Aramanth. The Blue dot is the Citadel. The light purple dot is the sanctuary.
2 - Shifter's Forest. The dark green spot is the meadow. The light green dot is the protected portal
3 - Home of the Orcs, Goblins, and of course, Deathirin Soulbane. Barren Wasteland, surrounded by a bottomless pit. The red dot is the Black Citadel.There's also an underground tunnel (grey area's mark the entrances/exits) connecting to a small outpost north east of the Citadels' location.
4 - Percilian'nien. The dard yellow is the land the Percillian family has claim to. The lighter yellow is the land that has been settled. The darkest bit in the yellow is their city, while the place beside it is the old Dwarven mines.
5 - Goblin Village.
Species :
Other species are allowed, such as lycans and vamps. You can also create your own creature if you wish. All Species ((except Shenna Rai's Clan)) know two languages : the one of their species and the Old Tongue that is shared by all.

I may be lenient about some of this, just ask and we'll see ^_^
1)They can become any creature at any time. 2)The only shifters who can become leaders are the ones who have the ability to control their full dragon form. Shenna Rai has the largest dragon form seen among her kind and she has full control over it... most of the time. 3) No males are to defeat Shenna Rai, whether in a dual for a relationship or an actual battle. It would mess up my storyline. 4) The shapeshifters from Shenna's Clan cannot understand any other species language. They know only the shapeshifters language. Any other clans know the Old Tongue still, and so can speak with other species. 5) Every shapeshifter has the ability of immediate healing. When they get hit or sliced, it takes only moments for them to heal without losing blood. However, if it is a more serious wound, it heals nearly 10 times faster than a human could heal. 6) Very few shapeshifters have Healing Blood and for good reason : Using the Healing Blood means taking it from their own heart while poisoning themselves at the same time. The poison is a healing agent for other species, but is a poison to themselves. I will go into further details on this if/when the time comes. The punctured heart with the poison takes AT LEAST 4 days to heal without aid. 7) Finally, there are a few customs among the shifters that need to be discussed with anyone else who wants to be a shifter. It isn't much, but it would affect some of the outcomes of situations. I did say I would be a stickler on this XD Sorry if I turn someone away.
Shape Shifter Additional Information
The only ways to kill a shifter is by beheading or damaging the brain beyond repair.
Females generally get the last say among things.
Males are the brute force and help protect the young as well as help hunt for them.
Females also hunt, but hate when a male tries to protect them. Both males and females are used as soldiers - they all have fighting capabilities and have strong creatures they use for fighting.
Tails are used for many things, but it is considered rude for someone to grab a tail without permission. A female will sometimes entice a male by trailing the tip of her tail along his face, but she will attack the male if he so much as tries to touch her tail if she doesn't want him to.
Couples : A male must 'challenge' a female to a dual to win her. If he wins, she has no choice but to become his. If he loses, he may try again another day unless another male has won her. A challenge can be given with a flower of pink tint, signifying that he really likes her. Red flowers
are generally only given by the males of life-long relationships.
Some times, when a male loses to a female, he will become her servant. She has to accept this when it happens, whether she wants to or not. She can always send him to another 'sister' if she doesn't want to keep him.
Duals can always be turned down by the female; no reason is needed.
Shadow Shifters :
Can become any creature, whether seen or not. They seem to be made of shadows and when they change form, it seems as though their body explodes into a cloud of shadows and reforms into that creature. Generally evil.
Humans :
Humans will be needed, either as normal citizens of the towns/kingdoms and as soldiers. There will be incidents with Shenna Rai and these soldiers. Some will be needed as evil and followers of the evil sorcerer.
Centaurs :
Generally keep to themselves now a days. They are allies of all races that are good or neutral. They want to be rid of the evil sorcerer when they find out about him. They generally hide if any come near unless they wish to speak to them.
Elves :
They have hidden away in their forests, not really caring to venture out. They do not have hatred for any creature, but they have lost a bit of their respect.
Dwarves :
Hide in their tunnels, rarely venture forth. They continue their digging and mining, building new and larger homes underground or in the mountains. Very hardy people, but not entirely short.
Magic Users :
These can be human or other. Centuars generally do not use magic, but I will accept them. The shifters do not use magic either - That includes Shadow Shifters. The magic is not limited to specifics for all characters, though each character does need a specialized magic. Like Kiern, his is elements.
History of the Land :
The land is much like our own with a few exceptions. There is only one large landmass, which connects all the lands of the realm. There are several small and large islands scattered throughout the small oceans. The lands vary greatly, a desert could be near a rain forest and things like that. You can help develop this further.
Shapeshifters, magic users, and all sorts of humanly races (elves, dwarves, centaurs...) all got along perfectly in the beginning. They each had their own language as well as the Old Language that each knew and shared. Over time, men became greedy, Elves became secluded, Dwarves delved so deep underground they rarely ventured above ground. The centaurs became wary of men and kept to the forests, sometimes visiting the Elves, and sometimes even the men. The many other species remained happy in spite of all this, visiting the Elven, Dwarven, and human lands equally.
Eventually, all the species decided to sign a treaty to ensure that no wars would break out between them. They had decided to meet on a specific date at noon to sign this. But a week before that date, each leader received horrible news. There was a spy in their own lands, gathering information on them and planned to return to their leader with that information. This made all the leaders angry. None of them showed up to sign the treaty and each kept to their own race, plotting and causing wars over time.
An evil sorcerer appeared. He was the one who turned the magic users against the Shapeshifters, and the Elves against the Dwarves. He turned everyone against the giants and orcs and ogres. Rats and flies and other such filthy creatures became abundant. Trade slowed and eventually stopped between the races. Travel became dangerous.
The humans began warring with each other and trapping or killing other creatures. Shapeshifters received special rewards. They were sought after to either be killed or kept as pets for viewing or war. This lasted for many years...
Now, the shapeshifters were scarce. Their clans had fled to different forests and were rarely seen, even among their own kind. The humans have stopped sending their troops and Magic Users to hunt these creatures, yet some still killed or captured them if they saw them.
Shenna Rai has become the leader of her now small clan. She does take care of her clan, but is often seen watching the humans and sometimes trying to interact with them. She is very curious about them, but they do not often take kindly to her. Her clan lives deep in a forest outside of a kingdom. The gates are always guarded by two to four soldiers. Sometimes Kiern is stationed there, though he could choose not to be. He likes to watch Shenna Rai when she appears. Kiern is not yet a General in the army, but only a few ranks below. He is young for even that rank, but he knows all there is to know. His subordinates are very loyal to him and the queen and will do everything to protect him. The wars have slowed down, yet still occur every now and then. One battle is just starting not too far away between another human kingdom and another specie (not decided yet). The Queen has not yet commanded any action for her army, so they are all stationed within the kingdom.
The Evil Sorcerer is gathering his army of evil creatures, including orcs, ogres, giants, dark magicians, shadow shifters ((excluding Shadow)) and many others. His army is still small, but sufficient for small raids and such. He prefers to remain out of sight at the moment and perform experiments on creatures. One creature he has created so far is a magic using orc. Many more creations are under way, and many evil creature continue to join him every day. No one yet knows who the Evil Sorcerer is yet, but they do know he grows older. He is currently between the ages of 30 and 45.
Shenna Rai's Clan protects a Portal within her forest. She has not yet ventured into this portal, but has often been curious about it. The Evil Sorcerer has not yet found out about it. Later in the story line, he will come across a book that mentions this portal. His plans for the domination of this one world changes when he learns that the Portal leads to thousands of other worlds. Since the beginning of time, it has been the sole responsibility of the Royal Shifters to protect this portal, seeing as they were the most able to protect it. The humans were too greedy, the elves too uncaring for other worlds, the dwarves simply uninterested...
Technology :
Technology is accepted, but no computers, phones, walkie talkies, or such like that. It has to be original. OR... It could be something that came from the Portal a long time ago and has been adapted in that long period of time... o.O
What's happened so far :
The battle is now over, many are wounded, yet the good side (Queen Arithillia) has won and captured the leader of the other side (Kianna).
Kiern has saved Violet from her abusive master and has taken on responsibility of her as well as Sissy. He is currently on the battlefield.
The shapeshifters from the other side are currently looking for the human who had saved them from the devices that had kept them enslaved.
Sissy and Violet are sitting in the castle of Aramanth kingdom.
Shenna Rai has taken on poison and has fallen to the ground, unable to heal properly (I'd like for everyone to pause on this. I am waiting for Stagger to post for Kiern. Major plot here XD)
Lia Kim, Zane, and Bri have been watching from the trees, keeping an eye on Shenna Rai.
The Evil Sorcerer, Tothien, has sent one of his minions to find and kill Kianna for her failure.
Beth has fainted, but Ivan and Efrix watch over her still.
One of Yura (?) is taking Syr on a journey to other lands so that he may find out first hand what is happening in the world.
Shadow is also searching for the Queen.
Blitz is still protecting the farms in Percilian'nien and I haven't posted for the Percillians yet.. I need to, I think -.-
