Rayquaza's eyes opened wider as she recognized Arceus. So the Spiritomb wasn't messing. The attack didn't hit her, or Flannery, or the man who promised to protect Flannery. It also didn't hit the Spiritomb. If it came down to a fight between Arceus and Rayquaza, there would be no contest as to who would win. But if Rayla could summon the legendary pokémon under her control, two against one might help. Zapdos, a lightening god, might even bring their companions with them. But that was a last resort only. She flew towards Arceus, taking out some of the closer troops.
Older brother, why are you here? Please, I beg you, stop the fighting before it gets any worse.
Flannery woke up just in time to see John roll off her, blushing a small bit. She sat up, ignoring the chaos around her for a few seconds, dusting herself off and holding out a Potion towards John. "In case you're hurt. Just spray it on. I bet Ray-"
She was on her feet in a flash, as she missed Rayla's giant form. All the color drained from Flannery's face when she recognized the figure. "Arceus," She whispered. She had trainer Rayla well, but she was still no match.
"Rayla, what are you doing?!" Flannery yelled, feeling sick all of a sudden. She ran towards them, kicking and pushing anyone who got in her way. A bolt of lightening dropped from the sky, exploding just before it hit the trainer, still sending her back nearly all the distance she had run. Rayquaza's AirLock ability prevented weather based attacks from hitting.
Flannery was on her feet again, covered in scratches and bit of dirt.
"He'll-"
Arceus won't. But if anything happens, the lightening will listen to you, and if fire, and ice appear, they might as well. Earth might not come, but will listen. Water is a pig-headed thing, but will take you into consideration. Don't do anything stupid. Okay?
Flannery nodded.
Okay. Be careful.
