Maybe you should take the time to come up with something more impressive to say, rather than just emphasising the fact that you really don't have a clue what you're doing? WHY? Might I ask are you two fighting over something as indescripant as a single post. People have their own ideas and the right to voice them in their own ways. Gab. Let me say one thing that the reason Cuss is used instead of because or cause, is because it sounds more catchy. Its pure marketing in the sense. Projekt Revolution was called ProjeKt because it looked better than ProjeCt. So its just the way you look at it. Anyways, the way you two are fighting is not only demeaning to yourselves, but you are cluttering the thread with pointless rambling. And quite frankly, its just plain immature. I'm not looking for a fight. I was just pointing out how ironic it is that a club to promote good spelling and grammar held both incorrect spelling and grammar.

And in all honesty I agree with you, just the same I figure I'll hold back my judgement, and possibly my resignation, until things get going properly. I joined because I liked the idea of a club devoted to good posting and whatnot, but can respect Xersist's choices with "Cuss" and the signatures. If it turns out any random idiot can waltz in and drag the collective writings skills of the group down the hole, then I'll leave. Until then I'll trust Xersist and see what happens.

Sorry Gab, but so far I sat back and red the posts, and all I could say is that your an instigator. You want to start things whether you realize it or not. Now Gab, whether or not there are two "sides" on a coin does not really need to be analyze that deeply. Its almost like that's and that is.

Obviously if you every need to use the word side, its in singular. Now the phrase is more or less stretched out.

Whether or not you felt like defending your thoughts, maybe using name calling wasn't the brightest of moves. Try watching a debate, "Asshole" is never used in a comment or phrase to prove a point, unless in quotations.

And for everyone else, do the same. We are trying to have a higher level of stature and thinking. So bashing, and name calling are not allowed, and just blowing someone off doesn't make you sound smart either. It just makes you out to be the bitch in the conversation.

Sorry Xer, I know you wanted this to be a club for the members and not the staff. That's fine, I support your desire to increases the writing ability of those in your club. However I wanted to point out that there have been some issues.

Just in case some of you forgot the rules, or possibly didn't read the rules of the site I am going to post them.

General Rules
These rules apply to every part of RolePlayGateway, and anything officially associated with RolePlayGateway.

No trolling.
Deliberately provoking arguments is unacceptable and is a bannable offense. (The word comes from casting a baited line when fishing... hoping someone bites.)

No spamming.
This includes flooding (repeating messages over and over), mass PMs to members, and joining any part of the site with the sole intent to advertise.

Respect the sensitivity of others.
We require everyone to maintain common sensitivity, which means:
- No public intimacy (this includes roleplay)
- No racist, bigoted, or excessively vulgar language.
- No pornography or otherwise rated "X" material.
Links to any page that violates our main decency rule is grounds for an immediate kickban and warning on your account.

Respect the staff.
Our staff will treat you with respect by default, so you have no reason to mistreat them.

No arguing, no bitching.
Take it to PM or the Flame Wars forum. Intelligent debate is welcome, but when your emotions take control of your actions, you are in violation of this rule.

In the last two pages of this thread there has been trolling and excessive arguing over a non-issue as related to the club. I would ask that your club members please adhere to the rules and if there is an attempt to troll your members or start a fight to contact a Mod so we may monitor the situation. You are attempting to create a club to better yourselves, allow us to help create an environment for your members to do so without needless harassment.

Gabe comes in here, makes a relevant, though somewhat provocative string of comments, and then everyone else comes in and the next few pages are of people making asses of themselves. Then we get Xersist coming in and pulling out the big guns (Which was a fun read by the way) and then Skallagrim comes in and just kind of shuns everyone in the room. O I love this place :3

Now, if we're all done with this little flame war, can we get back to something a bit more relevant, say like the club? I'd love to see us actually do some stuff. You know, show that we're not just all talk, maybe get out some visible stuff to attract more members, maybe some in club competitions or RP's. Something along those lines?

Well Generally No, I mean what is the point in that, Unless an Admin or Mod is feeling left out that's something they need to take up with their uppers. But I cant say no, cause everyone can join, I'm leaving that open and clear. Yes Mod and Adms can join, but I do see it rather odd. But I would love for you to come Mel. Just don't think for some reason that cuss your a mod that I'm giving you any special treatment. In here everybody is on the level, unless the rules are broken, then you can do what you got tot do. What I mean is that our club is like a lesser Mod group, in that we have no powers, but all the same goals. So why would a mod or admn want to join a lesser form of itself.

Perhaps its how you phrased your response to Mel that has fostered the idea you don't want Mods or Staff as part of your club? The first rule to writing is clarity.
