Wolf had gotten a few hours of sleep before the alarm went off. Washing and dressing quickly he glanced outside, a bright sunny day, somehow it seemed appropriate as he finished putting the touches on his suit. His tie neatly tied in a Windsor knot, his shoes polished and scuff free.
Heading down and out the lobby to catch a cab, Wolf was cornered by the front desk aide, "Mr. Mulder, Mr. Mulder a moment please." Came the voice, turning he spotted the small, waif thin blond hurrying towards him, an envelope in her hand. She flashed him a quick, tight smile. Her green eyes focused on his as she handed him the envelope, "It came early this morning Mr. Mulder. I was going to have it delivered but you came down." She stood patiently waiting for Wolf to acknowledge her,he glanced a the girl and gave her his best, dazzling smile, his eyes reading her name badge as he did so, "Candace, thank you so much. I have been expecting this, could you be a dear and have a cab waiting for me. I won't be a minute."
Nodding the girl made her way outside to the cabs waiting in line, he was busy talking to one driver as Wolf slide his finger through the sealed flap and opened it.
It was an invitation to dinner, for that very evening. Interesting, Wolf was unsure of the name, but suspected it was an Immortal and one who wanted to see the competition. Actually so did Wolf, hurrying outside he found Candace and had her take down some notes to reply to the invitation. He would show it to his old friend during their lunch.
Hopping in the cab the woman had secured he speed off towards the Cadogan Arms.
