Welcome all, it's been awhile but here we go again, I'm creating a new RP based on the popular MMORPG City of Heroes.

This basic idea is you are one of thousands of superheroes who defend the streets of Paragon City from villains and crime, you have an arsenal of powers and equipment at your disposal but together you must stand if you are to succeed.

This RP takes place in the crime ridden city, Paragon City, the city is divided into multiple sectors but the main two for now are Galaxy City, a small skyscraper filled city and Atlas Park, a park area filled with many hero memorials and the Paragon City Hall.

Now for bios, heroes may choose any appearance whatsoever, any background, anything, powers however are limited, no time travel, no space flight.

Heroes can be one of the following:

Scrapper: Melee heroes that use swords and other melee weapons

Tanker: Defensive heroes that use shields and barriers to protect

Controller: Controllers of the very elements

Blaster: Ranged heroes who prefer to stay at distance

Defender: Ranged heroes who use defensive skills over attack

Peacebringer: Bringers of justice and harmony (2 available)

Warshade: Reformed villains who fight from the shadows (2 available)

Secret Identity: Sedra Helthas, the ringmaster of a travelling circus.

Hero Title: Clubs Jack or The Jack (depending on who’s addressing him)

Age: Somewhere around 30

He would count as a "Blaster".

Primary Power: Producing energy blasts by crushing a card from his deck, the energy can be released immediately or held in his hands. The rank of the card he uses denotes how strong the blast is. Each card can only be used once. Using the energy produced he can manifest the Royals from his deck into corporal illusions that can fight for him or transport him away from harm. Each Royal card has a separate function but can also only be used once.

Secondary Power: To create illusions and perform slight-of-hand to fool or distract his opponent.

Appearance: Blood-red, knee length hair, very dark eyes, white skin that is often greyed. Sedra often looks very unhealthy, being both underweight and practically neurotic. He stands 185cm tall and would be considered good-looking if he wasn’t so thin.
-Secret ID: When not in ringmaster’s getup, he dresses formally in a white three-piece suite and black tie, hair plaited. He is never without a set of white gloves and a lacquered cane. In this persona he appears to be the exact negetive of Sedra Helthas.
-Hero ID: He dresses flamboyantly in the style of an old-world gentleman; his hair coloured green and curled around his head in its plait, hidden under a top hat. He wears a ankle length, fitted coat. His outfit is predominantly white and emphasised by the stylised suits from a deck of cards.

Back-story: Sedra knows very little about who he is or where he came from. All that he knows is told to him by his companion and would-be sidekick; a creature that calls himself Unnie and follows Sedra wherever he goes. Sedra’s name and the fact that he was a prototype in a laboratory experiment is all that Unnie is ever able to tell him about the time before they met.

Anything Else:
Sedra is an amnesiac; storing his memories in his cards and losing them each time the deck is destroyed. If one card is used the entire deck has to be destroyed and remade to replace it.
Sedra is also violently misophobic, reacting violently to the very idea of becoming unclean. Normally the condition is controlled by medication. Entering the Clubs Jack persona results in his phobia being considerably muted, but he keeps his distance when he fights to reduce contact with dirt.
To adopt the identity of Clubs Jack Sedra uses the Jack of Clubs from his deck, meaning that each time he becomes The Jack he loses his memory.
