Tired of quitters, need to do superhero RP ( )

Postby Edelle on Mon Jun 08, 2009 7:25 pm

I am so fed up with people who join for a couple of weeks, then leave abruptly, thus killing the roleplay. I never quit, and I wish others would uphold my standards of quality and reliability. If you want to start a superhero roleplay with me, and you are willing to stick with it and do your best, post here. I look for descriptive people who proofread twice (not just spell check) and can be creative.
Sorry if I seem a bit angry... it's because I am.
No, I was serious about that whole city hall/fire thing...

Edelle, I can sympathize with your desire to have a good core to role-play with. Perhaps if you give me some parameters I may in fact join a super-hero role-play as I have seen quite a few of them. I am not sure what you mean by descriptive, I like to think I am descriptive in my role-plays and my posts, however I will leave that for you to decide.

I hear you man! They give the lamest excused too, "it wasn't interesting..." blah blah blah! If it's getting boring, you make it interesting, you don't just quit. Let me know what you're up to. I'm always down for a good RP, and I never quit unless there is a conflict between publishers.

Ummm...you just called me a man... that's... strange... well... Moving on! I was thinking a well-established team of superheroes is watching over a city, protecting it from it's many evils. Things go wrong, and the heroes disappear. The city is in turmoil and they throw together a rag-tag band of untrained superheroes to help.
There is an excellent twist I have in mind for this one!

Hi Edelle!

I'm in. This is one of the few RP ideas that interests me. I've been praised by my friends numerous times for my concept ideas and writing skills (although they're about average for someone who spends their time on the internet). Keep me posted.

Heh, this seems like an cool idea. I've never tried a Super Hero RP before. This has reminded me of The Incredibles, and RPing like that would be awesome. xD I'd love to join and stick around, my main problem with RPs is getting them started let alone keeping them going. >_>

Edit: Wait, I remember I did an X-Men RP once. ._. Okay, I'm definitely up for it, that was fun too. ^^;

Yay! People are interested! I'm thinking a little more lighthearted than most RPs, but with a dedicated group of people. You seem like a fine bunch! I'll start scheming right away! Exclamation marks!!!

Oh yeah, that'd also be amusing. ^^ I'm glad you said it'd be lighthearthed 'cause I can't get this Incredibles style out of my head. We need some cliché big bad supervillain as well. :D Like Doktor Destruktion or something...

Are you still looking for ppl to join because I love Super Hero RPs. I made my account today and am not exactly sure how this all works but you are definetly speaking my language. Do we get to make our own characters?

I'm down! I spent a good three days watching my current RP ('bout zombies) die due to inactivity and short, uninteresting posting. Just as it was getting good! >:[ If you need fellas who don't just hit it and quit it, look no further.

Plus, I've always been interested in playing a super-villain. ;]
