xxxxx saw his orbs of light explode. He thought it impossible until now, so xxxxx decided to step it up a notch. He had just been using normal light techniques. I will show this assassin why they call me Emperor of the light! xxxxx built up a massive orb of energy and propelled it into the sky about 50 feet. It started to catch fire and burned as hot as the sun. Suddenly blinding light filled the entire city, as if the sun where were the ball of energy now was. xxxxx then teleported himself a safe distance away.
xxxxx was snickering to himself, as soon as the assassin stepped within 300 yards of that orb, he would make it go supernova, destroying at least a quarter of the city. There was no way such a man could escape from that, no matter how skilled. He also hoped the blinding light would slow him down since he made it glow like the sun. Even one attuned to the light such as he had to somewhat squint otherwise his eyes would be overpowered.
Then xxxxx realized this man had an aptitude for escaping. So he created 6 barriers of superdense light, he stood on one that was horizontal. Another horizontal one formed above him. And four vertical ones, to the left and right, and front and back. To a observer it looked like a cube of light. xxxxx then made them spin, so they could also act as blades.

I would hate to see any of AL's rules and ways of doing things come here. It's way too 'Elitest' there for anything truly fun to go on. Oh, at first it would be cool, but after a while people that aren't very good at battling to begin with will get fed up and leave, and the only people left here to battle will be the same ones, over and over. Sure, having your bio's rejected may push you to try harder, but so will battling and having someone better than you give you tips, or help you in bio creation. I may not be making much sense, but one thing I've loved since coming here is the freedom that basically anyone that wants to fight simply has to create a thread, invite anyone or someone you know, and bam, instant battle.
Now then, the way I see things is this: It's up to who you are and who you are fighting as to what style and how involved the bio is. For instance, I'm fighting someone right now who has a very, very vague bio. Do I care? No. Why? Because I'm confident in my writing and know that whatever they pull from their vagueness, I'll have something there waiting. Then again, for the most part I'm a really easy going guy.
I think that if you want someone to have a bio really involved, say that in your challenging post and accept no less, as that is your preference. I remember back in the day bios were not nearly so detailed as they are today, and we had shitloads of fun. I mean, mine were always too long and much to detailed, as far as histories and such goes, but we never listed every single move we had. To do so is just limiting.
I do understand where you guys are coming from, but my stance on it is that if someone's bio doesn't meet your expectations, don't fight them. It's after all at your own discretion who you battle.
Does that make sense to anyone but me? lol.
