It's been six months since the events in Egypt happened. Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes attempted to have a normal college life with relationship issues, but Fate seemed to have different plans for them. Standing around in the NEST Autobot Hangar, Sam, Mikaela, Lennox, Epps, Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet, and the other Autobots stood around talking about their next move.

"Prime, there has been reports of a massive island in the ocean outside of the city of Spain." Ratchet stood and waited.

"Maybe it is the lost city of Atlantis." Robert Epps said, craning his head to see the Autobots.

"Whoa, hold on here. The Lost City of Atlantis is a myth." Sam said, moving forward from his spot in the corner where he was holding Mikaela.

"The Lost City of Atlantis has a massive Cybertronian power source." Prime said, standing and looking around at the Humans and Autobots alike.

"I thought the All-spark was the last power source for you." Lennox said, stepping forward.

"No. It was the last known power source. One we knew where to find. But either way we do it, Atlantis holds our next power source. Or, a clue to a power source." Ironhide clarified, looking around at the others.

"Well, we have to go get it before the Decepticons can." Mikaela said, holding Sam's hand.

"Mikaela, please, control your hormones. I know you are expecting and that makes it harder for you to control, but I don't like seeing your hormones spike on my sensors." Ratchet called down to her, trying not to laugh.

Epps, however, was not so good at hiding the laugh and blurted out laughing. Mikaela walked over and smacked Epps across the face. Everyone hushed up and watched Mikaela storm out of the Hangar. Sam quickly followed her and Lennox started to follow, but stopped.

"Prime, there is someone listening in on the conversation. A human." Ironhide whispered and turned to the Hangar door.

All through high school I knew my path would lead me to the military, but here sitting in the briefing room staring at an FBI Agent and the General…well it adds a bit of surrealism to life. Then again looking back at the last 3 months, it all felt like a dream compared to today. But I was definitely awake and the next few words out of the General’s mouth as the Agent slid a manila file folder across the table in my direction only made it more real,” You’re hereby assigned to Major Lennox and NEST of the U.S. Army.”
That was in fact like a punch in the gut, without the pain though the first amongst the many thoughts marathoning through my head was ,’you’ve got to be kidding me…’

Now 7 months have passed since I was first assigned to Lennox and 6 months since I was on the front lines defending Washington D.C. And now in a time of strained rest I find myself antsy, wondering when the next attack would come. This period of rest was quickly turning into a period of anticipation for the worst. I can feel it in the rest of the soldiers, as I walk through the bunker I can see the men talking quietly, anxiously a few nod as I pass them. I pass the large entrance the hanger and stop just outside the entrance as the story of Atlantis reaches my ears I was so distracted by this knowledge that I hadn’t realized Ironhide had spotted me.
Startled I watched Mikaela stop near me and stare me down then Lennox arrived around the corner,” Inside, now Contrera.” I look at him and proceed him into the room. Looking around at the Autobots, feeling a multitude of stares from humans and machine alike making me feel naked despite army fatigues. I straighten and face major Lennox, then Optimus Prime,” Major…Optimus, Sam. I have a story to tell you…About a hundred years ago, an excavation was sent when a farmer in Montana uncovered a dinosaur…but that’s not all they found…”

Optimus transformed, allowing the others to transform. Sam, Mikaela, and the rest of the humans perched on a different vehicle, watching the new human. Optimus didn't trust this new human, but from the way Lennox had commanded her, she must have been in his squad at some point. Obviously, it was safe enough to talk to her.

"You said in Montana. What does this have to do with the conversation which you were eavesdropping on? That has no connection that I can tell. And I can't afford to send anyone on a wild goose chase right now."

He gave a moment as he scanned the Autobots and the humans. Even Sam and Mikaela had become part of his team. Even though they were not Military and not Autobots, they were very vital parts to the Human-Cybertronian War.

"Sir...this excavation was led by one Witwicky, and I know of several people who can affirm this as well as I. My great grandfather was a member of said excavation." I pause a moment then continue," I have photographs sir, and I can send for them immediately. Old photographs concerning the site...these photographs have ancient wall paintings and pottery dating to just before the last Eqyptian Dynasty. I can give you a name, of someone who can also attest to this evidence, who holds information about Atlantis." I take a step forward, facing Optimus," Sir, I know it sounds crazy, but it is my belief that this spot holds the key to Atlantis, and this power source you speak of..."

Prime and the others watched her talk. It was as if she was what they needed for the war.

"Ratchet, do you sense any indication she is lying?"

It was quiet while Ratchet examined you.

"It all seems clear, Prime. Whatever she is saying, it's the truth."

Prime contemplated this for a moment.

"Alright. Send for the photos and the other person. Bumblebee, Ironhide, I want you on ready in case it's a Decepticon. I also want to bring up a new topic with you all, but only after she proves whether to kill her or not."

My past isn't very important, was a bad kid who knew how to use fire, went to boot camp got kicked into shape, served my time in the military and worked on my rank, despite my training in guns I still had a natural liking towards explosives of all kinds shapes and sizes. In total I have spent about 7 years in the military learned how to use explosives effectively, efficiently, and to the point some would even consider it an art. One night I was awoken by some higher up officals I was told that I am being shipped off to a new base, no questions asked, i simply nodded and headed outside where a totally black car was waiting for me, i entered the car and off we went.

Kain sat, head down and eyes shut, in the shotgun seat of the car having little more than his guns and clothing in the back seat of the car, his launcher being the only exclusion in the trunk. His phone went off in his pocket, bringing him back to the brink of awareness, he looks around remembering where he is. He reaches into his pocket answering the phone, recognizing the number as his superior at his old base, "Sir it is good to hear from you, if I may ask, what is all this about, I get woken up in the middle of the night, the only thing being told to me is that I am going somewhere top secret." The phone carries a bit of static, but the message comes through pretty clearly. 'Well not much is known to me on this one, seems like the orders came from a pretty high rank, all I know is that you have been picked for a team or mission of some sort, what I do know is, this is going to be a very odd request.' "How odd? capture the target using explosives without harming him odd or what?" the man replies with a bit of confusion in his voice. 'lets just go with odd, you should receive more information at your new base as well as see the rest of your team, For now that is all, best of luck to you Kain.' with that there was a light click signaling that the other man had hung up. "Ugh... I never liked surprises..." he looks to the driver, another military personal just assigned to drop off Kain then leave, "We getting close to the new base?" the man nods lightly one of his fingers gesturing ahead, Kain turns and looks, the new base in sight. "Should be interesting."

I nod at Optimus, as does Bumblebee and Ironhide," Major Lennox, I can give you his name and station, but there is also something else, if I may request a conference with you and Gerneral Morshower. There is something you both deserve to hear before we call in Corporal Raydal..."

Lennox nods at you.

"It'll have to be just me. The General had to go update the President. Follow me."

Lennox walks outside, out of hearing range.

"What's this about, Warrant Officer?"

I lower my voice severely," Sir I have a request and another story..."

After I finish I wait for a response, quiet and a little impatient. Absently straightening my uniform, knowing that my tale sounds, if not far fetched, then near impossible to occur. But I knew it to be true and if knew the news then he knew the truth of my words as well. Still though, if I had to come up with the proof, I would I just hoped that it wouldn't come to that, because it would mean trying to explain why to the General without Major Lennox present.

Lennox was completely baffled by her story.

"That is the most incredibly ridiculous, unheard of thing I have ever listened to. However, since we had giant robot aliens land on our planet, we've seen things that haven't happened, I believe you. As for your request, I'll get a call out to him. Or, would you prefer to? I mean, as his new Squad Leader, it would make more sense if you called him in."

"Squad Leader...Sir that's quite a responsibility, but if your sure...I think it'd be better if you called him in Major." I chuckle," She told it to you before she died after all." I can feel the muscles in my shoulders relax a bit, though still standing at attention is still absolute habit.

Less than a week and we were expecting Jayden already, so I stood and then paced, probably wearing a path into the concrete floor of the hanger, Ironhide and Bumblebee standing by. The third time I started a round of pacing Bumblebee initiated a round of the Jeopardy song, I have to stop, at which he stops, and when I resume, so does he. I stop, can't help from laughing and adjust the cap over my tightly wound hair," I can't help it Bumblebee...wouldn't you be anxious in this situation?" I stop and straighten my sleeves and smoothing my skirt, waiting was hard enough without knowing who was arriving, but this...this went beyond normality, especially after learning of what was to come.

I roll to a stop in front of what appeared to be a military base. I shut my motorcycle off and stare at the Military base.

"No. This place is a myth. NEST does NOT exist."

I pull out my Desert Eagle Mark XIX and walk forward.

"Major Lennox?"

I yell in surprise as my Desert Eagle is pulled out of my hands and I'm staring a giant cannon in the face.

"What the hell? Major Lennox? I heard you need me."

Lennox appears in my line of sight.

"Stand down. It's Corporal Raydal."

"Major Lennox, tell me this is a joke."

"This is not a joke. Attention!"

I snap to a salute.

"Corporal Jayden Alexander Raydal, sniper and scout of Army Squad . Codename: Scout."

"Corporal, what I am going to tell you is TOP SECRET. The Autobots, The Decepticons are real, this war is as real as you get."

I gulp, looking up at the Autobots.

"So, it's true. It's all true. The stories are all true. Corporal Jayden Alexander Raydal at your service."

Lennox smiled and looked to Prime.

"Well, you have Warrant Officer Contrera and Corporal Raydal. And you said you had an important matter to talk about."

"When Sam died in the Egyptian battle, it told me this war is FAR beyond what I had anticipated. As such, I have decided to have our Weapons Technology shared with only SPECIAL people of my choosing. We will take your DNA and create a specialized Mech Autobot designed for your use."

Sam, Mikaela, Lennox, and Epps walked off to talk about it.

"Lennox, include Contrera and Raydal. With their knowledge of Atlantis, they have just become vital to this war."

"I think we do it. Look, the Decepticons are wiping us out because the Autobots are focused on keeping the humans alive. With these Mechs, we'll be able to help and assault the Decepticons. Do you guys agree?"

Everyone nods before I nod.

"Prime, we;re in agreeance that we should do this Mech thing."

"Ratchet, collect DNA samples so we can get started."

The car finally arrives at the base, quickly coming to a stop once it enters it. Kain steps out of the car, a duffel bag strapped over his shoulder right shoulder, containing his basic things like clothing, toothbrush, etc., his gun strapped so that the butt of it sticks out over his left shoulder the head barely being shown at his right, he goes to the trunk pulling out a rather large weapon case, containing both his launcher and extra ammo for the launcher and other guns as well as his explosives. the moment he shuts the trunk the car begins to drive away, Kain gives a light nod before turning around not really spotting anyone off the get go. "Huh, no greetings..." eventually he begins to hear the echos of chatter from the hanger, with a sigh he begins to walk towards it hoping to find someone in charge, he peaks in his jaw going slack at the large group of robots and a few humans, he quickly goes back around the corner just out of the doorway, his heart racing in his chest, he mumbles quietly to himself, not sure what the hell he is looking at.

I could only shake my head at Jayden's entrance, standing a bit away from the commotion, only having the magnum strapped under my left arm and smiles absently at his reaction, barely noticing the shadow of movement coming from the door. Drawing my sidearm and motion to Ironside and Major Lennox and move to the overly large opening that served as the door. Cocking my weapon I step outside and level the gun at whatever happened to be the shadow she'd seen.

"Inside...now" I order motioning with my gun aimed at his chest.

Kain doesn't notice the lady, still shocked from what he saw, he doesn't even notice anyone next to him until it is too late the gun already pointed at his chest. without a word he stands up, not forgetting his stuff, he walks in the door putting down his case and gun near the entrance, knowing they would be ineffective against the things. "Crap... I get hauled off to a random base that is unheard of just to get shot..." he looks over his shoulder at the person with the gun once more waiting for any further order from her.

I know my expression is stoic, I can tell and the presence of this new soldier only put me more on edge, especially with the size of his pack. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Ironhide and Bumblebee watching us. "Keep moving..." I stated, planting my hand on his back, and urging him forward.

Once we were closer to the group I stopped him and said," Bags on the ground and state your name."

Kain takes a look around at the robots, his heart still beating like a drum in his chest, he knew he would be out gunned no matter what he did. he takes off his bags quickly, gun included, putting them to the side before answering. "Sergeant First Class, Kain Aaron."

"What do you suggest, Warrant Officer? There's no telling what he's heard, but he's already seen the Autobots, so something has to be done about him."

I stepped over to him, watching him before grabbing his gear and sorting through it. "Definitely a lot of explosives, Major."

Prime looks down at Kain, examining him.

"I don't perceive him as a threat. But, it's up to you all."

"Hmm...judging by his uh state." I stow my magnum and reach into a pocket for a wallet and looking at his ID," Seargent, why are you here."

I relax a bit, now that the gun is away from my back. "I was reassigned here as of yesterday, I have no idea as to why, the orders were very vague, even the higher authority at my old base did not know Ma'am. as for the explosives, I am a heavy weaponry and demolitions expert." I glance over to my ammunition/launcher case, despite the moment I feel slightly proud of my collection.
