" Yes milord. " Raviel bowed once more. " ...sometimes you make me worry.. "

He fixed himself before walking off towards the Harem quarters to check if everything was safe. The captain saw the new slave knocking on Rebecca's door desperately.

" Excuse me. But it's three in the morning, would you mind heading to your room? "

Arian glanced at Raviel. He worked for the Master. They hadn't gotten on very well so when he waved happily to her she simply ignored the gesture and stood, smoothing out the wrinkles in her dress. She stood there for a moment, wondering if the Master would actually open the door. The more she thought about it, the more she realized how much she really wanted to keep her life.

Her cheek and lip were pounding simultaneously as she waited. She wanted to find a way out of the castle, it seemed to her that the Master was no longer indebted to his emotions towards her late caretaker. As much as she would regret it, she wanted to leave her maker and go to another castle in which she had visited often. She took a couple steps forward before stopping, this left her directly in front of the Masters doors almost behind Raviel. Would he even allow her to leave? She had no special talents or anything.

She looked up at the Masters angry voice from within the room and frowned, it seemed she would simply need to leave on her own.

Dorian jumped slightly at the sound of a new voice, turning quickly to see who it was. Quickly he had to come up with an excuse, a reason to not be sent to his room. "H-have you seen Miss Arian? I need... to speak with her... it's very important..."

Arian sighed once more and walked down the stairs and out the front door, nodding a greeting to the guards. Walking around the walls of the castle she found herself in the garden. A soft smile came to her face as she walked slowly to a bench. Nobody was ever really out here in this garden and she was curious as to why the Master had it all planted.

She looked over a tree at the moon and tried to plan her , well she wouldn't call it an escape....her trip, vacation-if you will. She licked once more at the blood still trickling from her lip.

" Why yes, but if I am correct, she's still near the master's room. Would you like me to escort you? " He looked back at the hallway and noticed how far he had gone. " Well? "

Dorian looked at the door, then turned back to the guard, nodding slightly. "I would... appreaciate it..." he said softly as he walked with him.

" Follow me. " He walked back and closed his eyes. The castle walls started re-arranging themselves and opened a path way close to the master's room. Arian wasn't there anymore. He then closed his visible eye and spotted her in the garden. He then created a pathway to bring them there. Raviel turned to a corner and saw Arian standing in front of them. " There she is. "

Arian sighed standing from her sat on the bench and walked slowly over to the rosebushes pucking a rose from one of them and twirling it in her fingers. She licked her lips and whispered quietly to the plant.
"I guess it's time for change huh?"

Rebecca finally opened the door. She had been crying so hard she fell asleep from the exhertion. Guiltily, she peered out, wondering if the pounding had been part of her dream or reality. When she saw no one, she sank to the floor in guilty defeat. It had been her conciounce she decided.

"What am I going to do now," she wondered. The harem was practically empty, save for her and Dorian. She had no idea how many had escaped, and she wished she had been one of them.

Raviel walked towards Arian and bowed before her. " Excuse me miss Arian, but this young man would like to see you. " He then walked away to leave the two to their conversation.

The night had been tiring indeed. Thankfully most of the slaves were rounded up and placed in an area in the castle that only Raviel and the master knew. He had killed off those who weren't caught by the guards. This made Raviel stand in a moment of repose. He did not like violence but it was necessary. It was a law written in stone by the master that any slave that were caught a certain distance from the castle, would be killed immedeately.

He looked at the moon from where he stood and Raviel crossed his arms. He thought of his own family, especially his younger brother. It had been years since Raviel heard any news from his clansmen. He gave a deep sigh before sinking into the ground and reappearing in the castle library.

Arian turned at the voice and upon noticing that Dorian stood behind her a small smile slid into place. She was sure he needed someone to smile at him after being with the Master, but she wondered why he seeked her out, did Rebecca not answer his call?
"Yes,Dorian?"
She held the rose to her side and looked at him, silently scanning him for any recent injuries.

He only sported a red mark on his other cheek, with no other visible signs of injury as he looked back at Arian. "I wanted to thank you... for trying to help me get away..."

Lucian paced his room hair sprawled across his shoulders. His shirt lie ripped on the bed. His fist connected with the wall before he exited the room, going down to the basement where only he and Arian were permitted to go. He found the cells empty except for the last one. He walked to it, pulling out the whimpering child and bit into her neck painfully.

The child cried out as Lucian drained her. As he dropped the child to the floor he had his suspicions confirmed. Arian had tried to cause a distraction, she was the one that let them free. He jammed his fist into the bars of one of the cells causing them to buckle under the pressure.

He stormed back up to his chambers telling one of his guards to retrieve Arian as he entered his room.

Arian smiled at him as she seated herself back down on the bench, stroking the roses petals. She knew the Master would find that out soon as well, and she didn't know how to tell Dorian that she might not be around much longer. She planned to get away before he found out, but nothing could stop him when he had his mind set. If only she was with her old Master would she truly be safe and happy.
"Don't worry about it Dorain, it's the least I can do."

Dorian nodded a little. "I... I think I have a plan... for getting me and you and Rebecca out... But I don't know if it will work..." His voice trailed off as a guard approached them, making him turn.

"The master demanded to see you, Arian... He's very upset..." the guard said, making Dorian stiffen slightly.

"I'll go with you," he said bravely.

Arian smiled at the boy and shook her head. It was useless trying to get her out, it might be useless trying to get himself out at this point, unless of coarse he went back to his father. She stood and bowed at the guard before turning back to Dorian.
"Don't worry about it Dorian. Concern yourself with Rebecca and yourself, don't worry about me."

she turned and followed the guard, it seemed that today was the day he found out. She was sure she would not live to see the sun fall behind the land tomorrow and frowned as she reached the door. She entered without knocking and closed the door behind her. Turning around she was slightly shocked to see that the Master was shirtless, and his hair was down. She bowed quickly to cover up her surprise and spoke in a strong voice.

" You summoned me, sir?"

Arian was up and gone before Dorian could rightly protest, making him furrow his brow. If she didn't want him to interfere, then he wouldn't... Though he felt as though he owed her for her attempt... Deciding to take her advice, he went backt o the harem room, knocking gently on Rebecca's door to see if she would answer.

Raviel sat inside the library, reading as usual. This pass time was one of the things he loved since it reminded him of home. After turning the last page, he closed the book and sat there thinking. The torches in the library began fading as he placed the book back into it's shelf.

He opened the library door and walked along the castle corridors. Through one of the windows, he could see a guard escorting Arian somewhere. There was also something else Raviel was feeling. It seemed here was an amount of blood dripping in the castle but he shrugged it off, knowing that the Master probably went " there " to feed. He made a twirled his finger a bit and sank down into the floor.

The captain of the guard then reappeared near the Master's room. He took a step back and merged into a nearby wall to observe what might happen to Arian. Thoughts ran into Raviel's head as he had seen this scenario a few times. Was Arian going to be punished or was she going to receive her old status back? He tood there, his right eye staring at the floor.

Lucian sat on the edge of his bed glaring at the floor in an attempt to control his anger when Arian entered without knocking. She bowed to him and he stood, crossing the room and grabbing the girl by her neck, holding her up against the door. He growled, his teeth bared as he spoke lowly to her.

"What have you done?"

He dropped her to the floor and kicked her once she touched the ground. He was furious, nothing that day was going as he planned, and everyone was making excuses. He knelt down so he was level with her when he spoke again.
"Well? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?"
He clawed at her face.

When Rebecca didn't answer her door, he weighed his options. He could stand there and keep knocking, but it wasn't certain she would answer, or he could go to bed and get some rest, as he would undoubtedly be called again by the master tomorrow... And then he remembered Arian, and it dawned on him why the master would call on her.

The master knew.

His blue eyes widened as he turned and ran, bolting out of the harem, headed straight for the master's chambers, his feet carrying him automatically, fear flashing through him. Just as he reached the door, he heard the master's angry cry: "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Bursting in the door, gasping for breath from his desperate run, he saw the master rake his nails down Arian's face and gave a small cry. "Please, no! Don't hurt her, please!"
