Rebecca placed the boy gently in the tub, holding him up so that he wouldn't drown in the water. The poor dear wasn't really aware of what was going on.

"Poor thing. He'll have to endure the Master for some time before he grows tired of him," she whispered. She turned her eyes to Arian, the current favorite of the Master and prayed that this new boy didn't upserp Arian's position.

"Be careful," she warned.

Fathender appeared next to Rebecca, she screeched in greeting. "Good day young one." Higher in the sky Tyko and other Pheonixs flew, ready incase of an attack.

As he was being washed, he kept his eyes closed tightly, relishing in the safety of Rebecca's arms, knowing that as long as she held him, he would not be hurt, though she was going to have to let go soon...

"I... I cannot take blood," he said softly, "It makes me ill... I know I need it... but I can only have it in a special form... Through a needle... or through a tablet... I... I've been sick... for as long as I can remember..." His tears fell into the bathwater as the cleaning was finished, slowly being rinsed off. "I wish... I could just go home..."

Arian smiled at Rebecca soflty. She was sure she wouldn't be upstaged, the worst that would happen is she would get disregarded for a bit. She watched him in the tub and turned to go out the door.
"I'll be fine."
She blinked stupidly for a moment.
"Wait... you don't remember how I got here?"

Arian was found by another vampire lord when she was a human child. That vampire raised her until she turned 21 when he got killed. The Lord that they were in the care of at the moment took over for the other lord, having been close with him. The Master changed her while she was 21 and took proper care of her as long as she did as told.

She cocked her head at Rebecca, Arian could have sworn Rebecca was here when she arrived.

Rebecca shook her head. She was young, by both vampire and human standards. Her mother had been a very minor Vampire lady who crossed the wrong powerful lord. Rebecca, her only bargaining chip, was sold to slavers and then sold to the Master.

Arian was among the harem when she arrived, and had, as far as Rebecca knew, always been the Master's ultimate favorite. No matter the new boy or girl, the Master always went back to Arian. However, what if this boy was different? Rebecca always feared when a new one came that he or she would upset the status quo.

"Arian, just be careful. If the boy has caught his eye, he might not be as forgiving as he was with the rest of us."

the blond cringed slightly at the thought as he slowly climbed out of the bath. "I don't want to catch his eye," he murmured softly, "and I don't want to be his favorite..."

Arian smiled again at Rebecca, she was very thankful to have someone so helpful around her.
"Thank you Rebecca, I will. Also, I apologize for being so cruel constantly. I don't know how to make it up to you for you being so kind."

Arian opened the door and stepped out crossing the room to a large piece of furniture that held her clothes. She pulled open the double doors and looked trhough the various dresses settling on a grand emerald silk corset dress. She pulled it out and lied it on the bed and began pulling apart the strings on the corset she wore. Taking off the dress she put on the silk dress and threw the velvet one in the corner of the room, it would have to be trashed unless someone else wanted it. She couldn't tie the corset at the moment so she left it on the bed, only wearing the dress part. she went back and pulled out a cream colored silk dress and folded it up, placing it on a chest.

She turned to a series of drawers and opened one and pulled out a red silk button down shirt and black slacks. She looked at them momentarily mourning the death of the man whom they belonged to. she placed them on the bed and returned to the bathroom.
"Rebecca there is a dress on a chest in the room, and his clothes are on my bed. Also if I can ask you a favor, I need you to tie this for me?"
She held up the corset.

Rebecca gently smoothed down the boy's hair from his forehead. "Don't worry. Being the favorite is a good thing. You get treated better. He listens to you more. You're less likely to be hurt."

She gently pulled the boy up. "There now, all clean. Let's get you dressed and ready. Don't worry, this will all be over shortly. I'm sure he'll see to it that you get your tablets or whatever so you can feed. Nothing too harsh for your first day."

She helped move teh boy to the bed adn turned to Arian. Quickly tying the corset strings she said, "Thank you for the offer of new clothes, but I don't think your dresses would fit me." She smiled, waving one hand over her round fleshy frame. "I'm a bit much."

Taking a towel, the blonde hurriedly dried, though he moved somehwat stiffly, as though his body ached from the movement. After being sure he was dried, he slipped into the other room, picking up the shirt and pants. looking at them and wondering who they had belonged to before, he slowly began to dress, tugging on the shirt and pants, rolling up the sleeves and pentlegs a little, his arms and legs short enough that it made a difference. Sighing, he nearly jumped when there was a knock at the door. "The master demands the presence of the new boy, Arian... You might want to hurry... He's getting impatient..." a guard's voice warned softly before the sounds of footsteps eched, sounding that he was walking away.

Arian smiled, this woman was amazing at giving everyone a warm friendly feeling that Arian wished she could achieve, but could never quite do. She pointed at it anyways, insisting that she take it.
"It's rather large, it's not mine, you should wash up and try it while we are seeing the Master."
Arian pulled the ribbon out of her hair and re-tied it before turning to the freshly dressed man. She looked at him with soft eyes.
"Are you ready?"

She looked at Rebecca, hoping for the best for everyone before turning back to the man.
"What's your name?"

He was quiet as they began to head out the door, saying softly, as bravely as he could, "Dorian... What's yours?"

Rebecca waved goodbye to Arian and the new boy - Dorian. Well, they made a pair? Arian and Dorian. Kind of rhymed.

She looked at the dress and tried it on. It was much richer then the ones she was used to. No plain silk here, but beautifully embroidered silk with small gems stitched in the neck, sleeves and hem. To Rebecca's amazement, it fit.

"Thank you Arian," she whispered in the empty room. "Best of luck to the both of you."

Arian's posture straightened as they walked through the halls. She looked at Dorian from the corner of her eye and responded in a stern voice. She hoped he understood she could be as kind as she was back in her chambers anymore.
"Arian."

It was only a short walk down the hall and soon they were standing in front of the large double doors to the Masters chambers. Arian lifted her fits and knocked twice on the door. It took only a moment for the Master to answer the door. He opened it enough for the both of them to fit through and Arian allowed Dorian to enter before she did. The Master closed the door behind them and crossed so he was in front of them.

Dorian tried so hard not to shake and shrink back, wanting to shift closer to Arian, hoping that the master would divert his gaze away from him as he looked him up and down, thoroughly inspecting every inch of him as he kept his eyes glued to the floor.

He hoped that the master's silence was not a sign of displeasure, unable to help the way he flinshed when the master spoke: "He's not wearing any shoes... And these clothes are too big on him... He will need his own clothes soon, though these will do for now..." Nodding his head to Arian, he added, "You may go now," making Dorian suddenly lift his head to look horrified at the master, chancing a fast glance to Arian to see--surely she would object... she wouldn't let him fall prey to this man...

Arian held her place, she wasn't about to leave the room until she was sure that Dorian wouldn't be harmed. She smiled attractively at the Master, there was no need to be sweet or gentle with him, though she wasn't looking to seduce him either, it wasn't in her nature.

"Actually sir, I was going to request to use your washroom, seeing as mine is being cleaned at the moment. I had gotten blood on me and I want to wash it off." her voice was different from the way she spoke to others, it was stronger and more authoritative, just as she was taught to speak.

She didn't look at Dorian, though she could feel his fear. Though she didn't show it she was worried about refusing a command, she hadn't lied though, she did wish to wash herself.

Back in the harem, Rebecca helped with the clean up. Well, she stood watch while the servants cleaned. She was not going to ruin this new dress, not after Arian was so kind to give it to her.

Once the bathrooms were clean, she went back to the main area and sat down. She wanted to wait for Arian to return, to find out on how Master was feeling.

The master's eyes narrowed at Arian. "Then you will either use the washroom in the harem or you will have to wait. I will not repeat myself again, Arian--leave."

Arian held back from making a face. It seemed he was being difficult and she had no other choice than to leave. She bowed to him respectfully and turned to make her way out the door. With her hand on the handle she turned her head flashing another smile.
" Farewell..." she glanced at Dorian as she tried to choose the right word. "Master."

She opened the door and stepped out, closing it behind her. She shot a look to one of the guards, silently ordering him to interfere if things began to sound too violent. He curtly nodded his head at her and she turned on her heel and walked off down to the harem in search of Rebecca.

Dorian didn't emerge for a few hours, and while there had been the occassional sound from in the room, there was nothing to adequately announce the happenings in the room from beyond that door.

Just when it seemed he would not return for the rest of the night, the door opened, the master gently nudging Dorian out and looking to the guard. "Take him to back to the harem and make sure he gets something to eat," he ordered, pushing Dorian towards him, watching as they made their way to the harem, the blonde standing with his head bowed, his curls bouncing slightly with each step, though he was silent, his eyes glued to the floor, refusing to look up, even as the guard opened the door to the harem, guiding him inside.

Rebecca rose from her seat as Dorian entered the room. She had been worried sick about him. No words had been spoken between her and Arian, just a knowledge of fear.

"Dorian, sweetie, how are you feeling? The guards set up your room while you were gone. You have your own room, with new clothes," Rebecca said. She knew that her words wouldn't bring much comfort, but it was the best she could offer. She knew instinctively that hugging the boy would be the last thing he wanted.

"Listen, I know it seems bad now, but we'll fix it. I promise you that." Rebecca was already planning on finding a way to keep Dorian from being alone with the Master. She and Arian and the others could handle the Master, but Dorian looked so frail. Tomorrow, she'd sing for the Master. That always soothed him.
