*fixing herself up in the mirror sookie drew a deep breath and began to smile and she looked at her ring with amazement. she grabbed her small purse and half ran out of the bath* "Yes bill compton i will marry you." *she said with a reserve until she notice the little table had the tablecloth hanging off of the table and the chairs knocked down* "Bill?" *she walked around until she looked to her left and notice the resturant door was wide open. she ran to the door and looked out and only saw the night sky. she put her back to door and slid down sitting on the floor. she looked up.* "CAN'T I GET ONE NIGHT!" *she shouted.*

Eric felt Sookie's pain and fear, as well as her anger. It was, to an extent, an aphrodisiac to his cold, dead body. A shudder ran through him as he fought not to rush to her side. He did not think she would approve. And yet, on the other hand, he did believe that she could possibly be very happy to see him. And while his queen had forbidden his tasting the young woman, he could not help but admit, she was quite delectable.

He would go to her. Now.

As he touched down in front of the restaurant, his face took on a look of fear and panic. "Sookie!" he cried as he swept inside. "Sookie! Are you all right?" He dashed to her side, concern showing on his ivory features.

*She looked some what releved standing up, yet a slighty disgusted. he looked like he hand been threw something major. i wonder if vampire can be stressed. she thought to herslef and looked to the left slightly.* "Eric.. bills gone. and at the worse possible time!" *she stamped her foot. she lifted right hand and looked at the ring again. she looked at eric* "why do you look so scruffy?" GOD! i wish i could read you mind.. she said to herslef.

Eric smiled his typical evasive smiled at her and brushed off his haggard looking shirt. "It was a rough night at Fangtasia, darling. And what exactly do you mean, Bill's gone?" He looked around the room, his face taking on a look of surprise. "What happened here?" Lightning fast, he turned around, his hands going to gently grip Sookie's upper arms. "Were you hurt?" With that, he began looking her over with a look of great concern. His eyes caught the engagement ring. "Is that?" he stopped, as if he could get the words out.

*she smiled widely.* "yeah. Bill proposed." *she smile turned to a sour frown* "someones took him and.. *she said tearing up* "i need him, eric you have to help me."

Eric went very still. "Well, certainly, Sookie. I'll see what I can find out. Would you like me to accompany you home? I don't think we'll find anything here. And you certainly shouldn't be out alone. Whoever came here may have been looking for you, too." He took her arm to lead her out. "Come on now. I'll make sure you're safe. Bill wouldn't be too pleased if I neglected your safety to try to find him. And I'm certain he's fine. I often know when those of my area are harmed. Tomorrow evening, I'll begin making inquiries into the subject."

she sighed with great relief. "thank you eric" she interlocked her arm with his and followed him back to her home

As he took her outside, he looked around for her vehicle. Bill had driven, and damn if Eric knew that Sookie wouldn't have a set of keys. "Sookie," he said softly. "I see a bit of a problem here. With Bill gone and his keys missing, it looks like we'll have to take another way home. Do you trust me enough to hold tightly to me and not look down? If so, I can fly us out of here. I assure you that you'll be perfectly safe while I do so, but I do need to know you won't thrash about and possibly harm yourself."

Terra busied herself with the last amounts of clean-up required at Sookie's place. As she picked pu the strangest and most disturbing things from all around her home, the sinking feeling that she'd been a part of all this; all this disgusting mess, fell hard on the top of her head. Eggs... Eggs was here too, but now she was left alone to do the final check for mildering things from a past she can't totally remember.

The sofa, torn up and unbalanced, caught her eye. Sookie had said not to worry too much about it, but Terra knew better. That sofa was where she'd sat with Sookie through plenty of difficult times... and now it was ruined. She flipped the cushions over, trying to decide whether it might be fixed, and drew back. There was an ear beneath the cushion. The reaction was only momentary, considering all the funky things she'd seen floating around the past couple of months. Still, she got a plastic bag and threw the ear out.

The underside of the cushions were perfectly fine, despite the ear, so she flipped them and sat back. A little sardonic chuckle escaped her chest. "Huh, probably trying to figure out who farted while they was sittin' here. Must've been a good idea at the time." She sighed and leaned her head on the arm of the sofa. "Everything seemed like a good idea at the time."

Sookie looked at eric. "Fly? you... you can fly? i though vampires had to turn into bats or something to fly?" she looked down and chuckled a bit.

"fine.." just the idea of touching eric had made her cringe but how else was she going to get home? sookie took her hair from it clip confine and russled it about a bit. "alright.. what do i have to do?" she looked at eric with her hyponizing blue eyes.

Eric smiled knowingly down at her. "Yes. I can fly. And here. I'll help you prepare for our ride." He took her in his arms and held her close to him. "Now. If you don't want to look, you can simply press your face against my chest. If you do want to look, I will simply hold you in my arms. Otherwise, wrap your arms around my waist and link your fingers. But don't worry about anything else. I have you. And Sookie, I would never hurt you."

He waited patiently for her to make the decision about which way she would prefer to fly, and then gently (at least, as gently as possible) leaped into the air, holding Sookie tightly and ensuring that she felt perfectly safe in his arms.

sookie put her arms around his neck and interlocked her fingers. but.. she felt a great attraction toward him. why? why? is she feeling this. she looked away from him and gasped a little as they lept into the air.

as they flew she thought about terra and how she was doing. she really missed her best friend and wanted to tell her about the bill situation. And maybe even being tricked into drinking Eric's blood and have this profound attraction to him.

she looked in his face again and sighed. she noticed they were nearing her home. and what about her brother? where was he? now that he was free from that bitch maryann he should be coming around soon. she hoped...

Terra sighed, there was nothing in Sookie's fridge except left-overs from Marryann. She dumped it all in the garbage and tied the bag; happy to be rid of it all. From the front door, it was just a few yards to Sookie's can out front. She really didn't feel like going, but she also didn't feel like explaining to her friend why there was a moldering bag of possible human gourmet in her kitchen trash. So she mustered up her remaining will power and dragged her feet outside.

Eric landed just a few feet from the proch where Tara now stood. The landing was gentle, almost as if he'd simply hopped down off of a front porch as opposed to having just flown almost 50 feet in the air. He kept his arms around Sookie for just a moment longer than necessary before releasing her from his hold. He then turned to Tara. "Hello. I hope you are feeling well."

Looking back at Sookie, he gazed into her eyes. "Sookie. May I help you finish cleaning up your home? It still stinks of that maenad here. And that can not be comforting."

Finally landing, and her stomach catching up with her. "well thank you very much eric." she sniffed. "all i smell is rotten meat." her eyes began to water seeing tara and she embraced her, she heard eric but was focused on tara.

"Tara.. the shit has hit the fan in a big way." she said choking up.

Eric was, despite his belief that he was most important, not the kind of person who interrupted heartfelt reunions of friends. He turned away and pulled out his cell phone, dialing a number. "Pam," he began. "I need you to get our cleaning crew to come up here and take care of Sookie's house for her. Just have them put it on my bill." He paused as Pam placed him on hold to convey the message. When she returned, he smiled slightly. "Yes. Tomorrow morning sounds good. And yes, we'll need the whole crew. This job will take hours even with them all working. Thank you, Pam." With that, he hung up and began walking around the house's property to ensure that there was nothing unsavory going about on Sookie's land.

"What's in a name?" Bill was knocked out cold on the ground. He didn't know where he was or even how he got there. In fact he didn't even know he was gone. The last thing he remembered seeing was Sookie's look as he handed her the ring. It was nice looking into her soft blue colored eyes, but it went dim as something struck him. With in a flash he was gone.

"What's up now?" Terra asked, more agravated than concerned. "Something to do with Bill I guess; seein' as you floated in with that other one...uh... Eric? Is that his name? Anyway, I've been gettin' most of this stuff cleaned up, but you have like-no food in your fridge now and there's still that smell." She shook her head morosely. "I still haven't got a damn clue what happened, but I'm sorry."

Eric meandered back over to the two women. "Yes Tara," he said with a smirk, "It's Eric. Sookie, tomorrow morning our cleaning company will be here to take care of the house. I assure you that by the time they are done, there will not be a trace of that woman left."

Meanwhile, Pam rested in the back office at Fangtasia. She was watching Bill's awakening on the computer screen in front of her. She truly felt no pity for the vampire, he was weak and unable to acknowledge when he was out of his league - which he was when it came to Eric.

Sookie looked at eric she swallowed and sighed. "thanks" she said slightly uncomfortable. she turned her attention to tara again "i think bill was kidnapped." she showed tara the large rock on her finger. "Tara.. he proposed."
