Azi looked at Kaitlyn with pain and fear on her face, but mostly pain. Kaitlyn was starting to raise her voice up to a shrill level and it wasn't making the headache any better. Azi couldn't stand the thought of William's broken face when the truth came out. She tried to block out Kaitlyn's justice with a pillow but the words rang loud and true. What would happen to William with her gone? Would he snap? The thought made her cringe. The loss of his brother had eaten away at his soul so desperately that he had resorted to killing women. Azi didn't want him to go back to that.

Marriage? William wanted to marry her? Why would Kaitlyn say such a thing?

Azi looked at the hormonal pregnant woman with as dark a glare as she could manage before she sat up and looks at Will. She waited for a moment to compose herself before she knew she had to tell the truth. There was no way of wiggling away now.

"Kaitlyn is right William, I am dying." She said softly. "I talked to a doctor a while ago and had some tests. I have a tumor growing inside of my brain that is causing the horrible headaches and my body to go out of whack." She felt a chill sweep through her and shook her head. "I didn't want to give you another burden," she whispered as she put her face in her hands. How was he going to respond to this?

"A burden?" William asked quietly as he took in everything Azi had just said to him. He felt like his heart had been ripped out his chest and smashed into little pieces. But he couldn't break down. He had to be strong for Azi and Kaitlyn and the baby. "This isn't a burden on me. It would of never been and never will be. Azi I love you. I'm in love with you and I want to make sure I do everything in my power to make sure that we get you the proper doctor and medical procedures. I'm going to fight this with you." He mumbled as he walked over and kneeled beside her lying his forehead against hers. "I'm sorry of I ever made you feel like a burden but you should of told me when you first found out. I can't lose you." He whispered keeping his emotions in.

Azi looked at him as he came over to her and rest his forehead against hers and assured her she was never a burden and never would be. Se felt her eyes well up with tears and she shook her head. "But you've been so stressed out with the company and then coming home and dealing with Kaitlyn and her pregnant moods. It just didn't seem right to push more on to you." She said softly as the headache pulsed worse in her head. She placed her hand gently against his face. She was touched by his words, but at the same time she still wished he didn't have to know.

"I'm so sorry," she whispered and closed her eyes briefly. She took in a deep breath before she opened her eyes back up. "There is a procedure that the doctor can do, but it's not only highly dngerous, but it's too expensive." Azi decided she couldn't hold anything back from him now. It was all or nothing. Despite trying to keep this a secret William had every right to know what was going on. "I'm scared." She whispered quietly as she looked at him with pain filled eyes.

"You told me nothing could be done to help you." Kaitlyn peeped from her spot by the door as she rubbed her small belly.

"Doesn't matter Kait. I'm paying for it. I don't care how much it costs. If it has the chance to cure Azi I'm going to take it." William said looking back at Kaitlyn for a moment before turning his eyes back on Azi. He understood what she was saying. William led a very stressful life but he hated how she thought that her problems were less important than his job or Kaitlyn because they weren't. "I'm going to everything in my power to make sure you get better." He promised Azi quietly as he kissed her forehead. And it was true. He was going to call up his best doctor and have him take care of Azi. He wasn't going to give up without a fight first. 

Azi glanced at Kaitlyn a little guiltily. "How could I tell you?" she then turned back to William and shook her head. "I can't have you do that." She frowned. "You've done too much for me already, this is my problem, I don't want you to have to pay for it. How can I ask for so much more out of you? This is why I didn't tell you, or Kaitlyn for that matter," she glanced at Kaitlyn who looked hurt. Azi didn't want to rely on their generosity. She didn't want them to spend their money on her when she was the one who had gotten sick. It would be too much for her to ever repay back to either of them. Azi appreciated William's words as they made her feel more safe, but she just shook her head at home again.

"I'm so far down this road that going in for surgery is a really high risk. The doctor told me that even with the surgery I'd be in therapy for at least a year. The tumor is the size of a golf ball and by taking it out would they would have to take out part of my brain. I wouldn't be the same for a long time, and that's looking on the bright side. He said there's a high possibility that I wouldn't be the same again after such a traumatic surgery." Her eyes filled up with terror again.

The money hadn't been the only factor about the surgery that Azi had been terrified of. The thought of the surgery going wrong and dying on the operating table was still a bearable thought. The part she couldn't stand and was scared of the most was never being herself again. How could she live life after that?

"I'll take you anyway I can get you Azi but not dead. Which means I'm going to pay fir that surgery. It's better to take a chance then to live asking if that was what could have saved you." William told Azi looking down at her, his tone telling her that he was not going to take any arguing. "I'm paying for that surgery and there isn't anything you can do about it." He told her sternly. He wasn't going to let Azi win this argument. He was going to save her since he had the chance. He was going to save her unlike him saving Kenny.

"I'm gonna go..." Kaitlyn mumbled to herself as she walked towards the door. She was hurt and stressed. Two things that weren't good for the baby. She saw Azi as a sister and it hurt her to think Azi didn't feel the same.

Azi could see the determined look in William's eyes as he told her he was going to save her. She realized that he wasn't going tonpass upnthis opportunity to save her. He had no control over Kenny's death, but he had a chance to do something to save Azi. She realized that she couldn't take this away from him no matter how bad she felt for relying on him. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before she nodded her head. She reached out and took his hand not even realizing that Kaitlyn had left them alone. Azi wasn't up for moving around since her headache was persisting, but she didn't want to be left alone.

"Will you just stay with me right now?" she asked him softly as her eyes had slipped shut once more. She didn't want to be alone, not again, Azi had spent so much time alone lately and had kept all of this bottled up. It was a relief to have the truth out, but at the same time she still wasn't sure if this was the right decision.

Azi curled in closely to William as he laid down on the bed next to her and took her into his arms. She felt relieved now that there was a chance for her to actually live after this. "Thank you William, I do love you, very much," she sighed softly as she closed her eyes. Even with the pain in her head it didn't take too long for her to fall asleep in William's arms. It had been a while since they had been able to be so close to each other. The circumstances weren't ideal but at least it was a valid excuse.

The next couple days that passed by were a little awkward and uncomfortable for Azi. She still felt bad about not confiding in Kaitlyn completely and Azi could tell that Kaitlyn felt a little betrayed by it. Azi truly loved Kaitlyn as a sister and that was why she had withheld that information. She didn't want Kaitlyn to be stressing out even more ince she was coming into her second trimester of the pregnancy. Another thing that Azi found as an upside to this ordeal was the fact that William was finding the extra time to be with her. He had taken her to his doctor and after getting a thorough exam they had scheduled a surgery date. The thought of surgery terrified her.

"William," Azi spoke softly as she came into William's large office. He had her move some of her things into his mansion as he wouldn't let her stay home alone. The doctor said that it was vital that Azi not be alone for long periods of time unless something turned for the worse before the surgery. "Do you have a moment?" she asked hesitantly as she stood in the doorway. At the moment she wasn't being bothered by a headache or the nausea, but her surgery was in the next couple days and she was honestly rather terrified.

Azi held quiet for a moment as William finished up on the phone. By the look of anger and frustration on his face she could tell that he must be talking with his father. He rarely got so upset with anyone else on the phone. She frowned a little until he told his father he had to go. Azi smiled sympathetically at him. She knew that his father didn't really approve of her, especially with Kaitlyn being pregnant with William's child. She also knew that his father didn't approve of William being so generous and charitable to Azi and her situation. The man just didn't understand that William really was in love with Azi and she wasn't just some charity case or anything.

She walked over to him and stood before him before she took his hand. Use knew how frazzled his father made him. She was glad that he looked more relaxed now that he was off the phone with his dad. "I'm okay right now, no pain, but-" she stopped and looked down at the floor of his study. Why had she come to bother him? It was so stupid. "Nevermind." She shook her head and then offered him a smile. She suddenly felt so silly for interrupting him. "How are you doing right now?" Azi was worried about William with all of the stress he was under. She didn't want him to overwork himself, or get sick from pushing himself too hard.

Azi frowned slightly as he spoke with a sigh. She didn't like seeing him under so much pressure from all of this that was going on. She looked back at him as he kissed her hand and asked her what was wrong. This time she sighed as he told her it was all right to tell him what was bothering her. She bit her lip and didn't look at him for a moment before she turned her eyes on him. "I'm just really scared," she looked at him with frightened eyes. "What if something goes wrong during the surgery and I don't wake up? What if I don't remember you when I wake up? What if I can't remember how to be me?" her questions were rushed and quiet.

Azi had been explained the dangers over several times and the more she thought about it the more it made her sick to her stomach. She wished that things were different. She wished that she didn't have this problem. She wished that William could find time to relax. She wished that Kaitlyn would stop being so quiet.

Azi was wishing for a lot of things, but she knew that she didn't really have any control over anything.

William looked at her completely understanding the fear she had about this surgery. He couldn't imagine someone going into and operating on his brain so he had to bare with her. Admitting he was scared to would only make Azi back out of this and he wouldn't let that happen. Not if this was her only chance to get better. And truth was he would stand by her side through everything. It didn't matter what happened after the surgery he would still be there to help Azi recover and get through this tough time.

"Listen to me you're going to wake up from the surgery and whether you remember me or not I'm not leaving. I'm going to stand be by your side throughout this whole thing. I'm going to help you become better." He told her pulling her into his lap and hugging her to him. "I'm not giving up on you. Not after everything we've been through." He mumbled letting his hands fall to the side of the chair and looking at her so she could see the honesty in his eyes. Everything he was saying he meant and he wanted Azi to feel it too.

Azi looked at him carefully and sighed as he pulled her into his lap and held her close as he promised her that he was going to stand by her the whole time no matter what happened. She searched his eyes as he fell quiet and she knew that he was speaking the truth. He would stand by her and he was going to be there at every step so she knew she wasn't alone. She felt her eyes tingle a little as she wanted to cry. It was such a silly reaction, but it meant the world to her to hear those words coming from his mouth.

"Thank you Will, that means a lot to me." She whispered softly as she curled in close to him for a moment. She breathed slowly and steadily before she pulled back. "You are an amazing person, did you know that?" she asked him with a gentle smile. "I'm going to go talk to Kaitlyn. It's weird having her so quiet, I don't like it." She moved from his lap and walked out of his office. At the door she turned around and offered him another smile. "I do love you," she said before she left.

Azi walked down the hall and came to Kaitlyn's room. She poked her head inside and spotted Kaitlyn sitting quietly next to the window. Azi took in a heavy breath before she knocked on the door. "Can I come in Kaitlyn?" she stepped into the room after a moment.

"I'm really sorry if I hurt you, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the surgery, but I really didn't want you to worry more." Azi looked at Kaitlyn apologetically.

William smiled at Azi and mumbled an 'I love you' back before he let her go find Kaitlyn. He was glad that Azi was going to try to talk to her because every time he had tried to approach her she mumbled something about being tired and nausea and would disappear. He hoped that she would be able to get through to Kaitlyn's stubborn self and fix whatever the problem was that the pregnant model had. Sighing he picked up his office phone to get busy with work once again.

Kaitlyn didn't know how long she had been sitting staring out the window but when Azi came into the room she snapped back to reality. She didn't look at the red head though and kept her eyes on the two dogs outside that seemed to be play fighting. She listened to Azi speak and then turned to her with tears in her eyes. "I'm really glad to hear that you're letting William pay for the surgery." She said honestly wiping at her eyes before taking a deep breath. "And it's okay. This has got me to start thinking alot more and I've realized something. You and William need eachother. And I just get in the way of that. Me and this baby. So that's why I've decided to leave." She pointed to the bags near her closet and let out a half smile. "I've found this great apartment downtown and my parents are willing to come move in to help as my pregnancy moves along and I have the baby." She told Azi.

Azi could see that Kaitlyn seemed rather sad. She wondered why. It didn't take too long as Kaitlyn looked at Azi with teary eyes and said that she had decided to move out and leave Azi and William alone. Azi looked dumbfounded for a moment before she shook her head and moved over to Kaitlyn. "You can't leave! I don't want you to go because of me. You have every right to stay here. I'm sorry for not telling you, but that doesn't mean you should leave. William wouldn't even like it. You were here first Kaitlyn, you don't have to go!" Azi said in a hurried tone. "What are you talking about? You and the baby don't get in the way. You shouldn't leave because of this. It would be too lonely without you and I don't think William could handle you leaving this house. You've been so wonderful to me, I don't want you to go." Azi looked down at Kaitlyn.

"Please stay, if you leave I'd be too lonely. It's a miracle William has been able to be around so much right now. What am I to do after the surgery when he has to go away on business?" Azi looked at Kaitlyn with eyes suddenly full of panic.
