~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hundreds of thousands of years ago two different civilizations lived in peace with one another. One was Swinthia, land of the beings of light. The other was Virisona, land of the beings of darkness. Both civilizations existed and prospered from one another.
One day, the sky darkened, it twisted and turned and throughout our home lands and beyond, a great plague began killing thousands of people. When a cure was eventually created the plague passed, but the world was never the same. It was rumored that each side blamed each other for the plague, and in return the peace and unity broke throughout the lands, and the Kingdoms began to argue over land and wealth, ever trying to satisfy the unquenchable thirst for greed that men have. Over time it was inevitable that war was declared.
There is a legend that special essence had appeared in a dangerous place called the Plains of the Ruins. It’s said that once it finds a group of souls worthy, it will grant what they desire the most, but if it deems any one of spirit’s unworthy, all of the souls are killed instantly and the essence disappears forever. It has been sought out for hundreds of years, but to no avail. Some believe this could reunite the broken empires, but knowledge of this essence begins to pass from memory. As war rages on it is time to call upon warriors whom may either hinder Swinthia and Virisona from reuniting forever, or may bring them back together for all of time.
Leyna felt a small bead of blood drip down her head as she swung around in a circle with her sword. She had gotten herself into trouble, like she always did, in the outskirts of the lands in a forest. Niida, her white tiger companion, roared as she jumped on one of the bandits and sunk her powerful jaws into one of the bandits heads. She almost jumped and turned to look at the tiger protecting her. "Gah! Dammit Niida with the way you roar your going to alert every Virisonian around here that were out!" Turning at the last second she caught the fifth badit that attempted to jump her, and with a quick slash to his stomach he was dead.
As all six of the theif's that attempted to attack her lay dead on the floor she sighed with relief. Sheathing her longsword she pushed her hair out of her face and around her pointed ears. Double checking her blue plate armour she determined she hadn't suffered any major injuries. As Niida strolled up to her in her lazy state, Leyna hopped onto the large beast's back and sat up, letting Niida walk her through the shady forest.
Without her knowledge, something else walked in her direciton, into Leyna direction. Casper moved slowly, his red robe waving through the current of the wind, his face partly covered, and his Blood-Red hair shrouding his other part of his face, in his eyes. He was smirking greatly, just finishing a whole family off, one-by-one, he remembers playing with them, toying, finally he finished them all off, slowly. At this time he loved what he did, born to kill, he as a monster. Casper laughed to himself and looked down smiling. It seemed quiet enough, it had been a long day, and it was time for him to return home at last, he couldn't wait to feel the comfort of the Hell that awaited him. He laughed again..
Finally he stopped, something was coming this way, and his hand tightened around his sword. "More prey perhaps." He could have one last meal before he left. He stopped, and stood his ground, waiting forever what was to pass to go ahead and pass.
Creon darted through the forrest. He had ran away from almost being hunted. He suddenly stopped and perked up his black furry ears as he heard a roar as if from a lion. "a lion? in a forrest?" He though as he kicked his heign legs and darted towards the roar cerious os to its sound in such a diffent place. He had a sent...and the sent was blood. he softend his pace to a walk as he came up on several bodies of dead bandits. He morphed into his human form as walked a little bit around, his hand on the handle of his blade at the ready as he crouched down at on eof the dead men, sliced in the sotmach. He looked up and morphed back into a wolf getting a new fresh sent. He ran towards the smell coming up onto a tiger and an elf. He kept his distance behind them, not trying to attract unwanted attention.
morriganxchan wrote:"I may be a homosexual," Kiyoshi growled "but at least I can take it in the ass without crying like a bitch." He smirked. "I'm sure one day soon, you'll see that you can't say the same." He spit out the blood and bile...
She felt her elf ears tickle a little as a strange wave of cold travelled down her spin. Something cold and dark was present in the distance. She lowered herself closer to Niida's fur, and whispered to her. "I know that....feeling. You feel it too?" Niida responded to her question with a snort of air. Leyna nodded and hopped off Nidda's back. Drawing her sword she took careful footing around the broken branchs on the ground, trying her best to be quiet. She looked back over to Niida and with a signal of her eyes she ordered the great tiger to stay put. As she moved further her cold chill began to grow, and she knew she was walking in the right direction.
Esme walked slowly, listening to every sound.
A mouse scuttled across her path, causing her to stumbled backwards and trip over a tree root.
She lay there, sprawled on the ground. A praying mantis crawled across her face and looking into her eyes.
She brushed it off and stood up. Her black cloak was ripped, she shrugged and walked on.
A sound caught her ears, the padding of feet on the ground.
She slowly crept towards the sound, drawing her as she went.
Creon laid behind a tree still having a view of what was happening, his black coat was perfect to help him not be seen in the dark shade as well as the dark brown hue of the tree bark. He was in a patch of high grass as well. Almost being glad he was a half-wolf sometimes other thing can get to his mind. He watched carefully as the elf trudged on with her pet being keen to its surroundings. Answering to her every speech. Creon crept slowly around in a huge semi circle to get to the front of the elf to better size her and view her as friendly, or foe.
Carefully she made her way through the glade, being careful in every movement she made, trying to find the source of her uneasiness. The chills in her spine continued and she had a hard time shaking them. Something sinister was nearby and she was getting closer to whatever it was.
Casper laughed, and it filled the forest with terror. Then came a woman, and a Cat-Like creature, perhaps a Tiger. He smirked and his sword was ready. "Leyna, long time no see! What are you doing in a place like this?" His smirk widened. He walked closer and stood in front of her. "Well, even though I just ate, I think I could go for seconds!" Casper said in a solemn tone, acting very serious and straight-forward.
When she saw Casper she stood up straight, and loosened her grip on her sword, taking one hand off of it. "Oh Capser! Its just you. I thought you were..oh I dont know...some kind of threat or something!" She laughed poking fun at him. "Seconds huh? Didnt get enough the first time?" She put her hand on her hip and made a clicking noise from her mouth, and Niida took a few large steps to catch up.
"I was just doing some scouting here and there. Trying to find willing souls who dont go and get themselves killed every five seconds." She was right, she would never be able to make it into the Plains of Ruins and find the essence if every time she found someone they ended up getting themselves killed. "I slaughtered some nice fresh bandits over there, fresh kill. If your really hungry go sink your teeth into them."
Arcent could the activity coming from the woods. There had to be a large number of people in there, obviously preparing to fight each other. Arcent smiled, he was ready to face whatever Virisona had to offer him. Arcent to running head start, and then lifted into the air. His wings carrying him even faster then the last time he flown.
As he made his way over the trees he heard a horrible screech. It was almost enough to shake Arcent out of the air. The more time he spent in the air, the more frustrated he became. It was impossible to see what was going on the through the trees. If he was going to do anything, he was going to have to do it on foot. He slowly descended through air, attempting to find the place with the best clearing.
When he was back on the ground, he saw a dark creature. He was approaching a young-looking girl who had just come through the underbrush. There was a large animal walking near her, that looked like it was a tiger. Arcent was surprised at first, but then realized that the girl had to be elven, and the tiger was her companion. Arcent had seen quite a few elves in Swinthia, they were allied with the city after all. A great many of them had animal companions, ranging from meercats to frogs.
Arcent walked slowly towards the dark figure. "Who are you, and are you allied with Virisona?" As Arcent was speaking he pulled out his bow, ready for a fight.
Casper smirked. "You know, be lucky I don't have the taste to kill you for some reason..." Casper put a hand on her shoulder and just stood there. Finally he stood back and whistled and a Demon Steed appeared, roaring, breathing almost fire it stopped. Casper got on it and just stared at her. He thought quietly to himself. "Why can't I kill her...she is the enemy, and If ind her a friend..." Finally he spoke outloud. "Leyna, you haven't brought yourself to put any, I don't know, magic on me of any kind have you? See I can't kill you, and the reason is lost from me, and that is the only answer, unless somewhere I really do have a heart." Casper grimaced ignoring the other figure close by.
She turned to the Wing of Light and clicked again with her mouth. Niida positioned herself between the winged man, and her and the vampire. "Im Swinthia, he is Virisona, and you arent going to be starting any fights right now." She turned back to Casper. "Now Casper, I haven't casted any magic what so ever on you! Now, my friend couldn't it be that maybe you dont kill me because we were meant to ally with each other? Dont you remember that there was a time when Swinthian's and Virisonian's were united? Casper, why wont you join me to find the essence?" She hoped that this invitation had been more inviteing than her last. Licking her lips she ran her fingers through her hair and a smile spread across her face. "If we weren't meant to ally with each other, then I wouldn't be able to explain why you dont kill me other than for perhaps some strange reason, you like me." She stuck her sowrd into the dirt and leaned on it, watching him.
Casper's cheeks turned bright red. He turned his face and smirked. He stared at her. "Maybe..." Casper said honestly. "Just a little?" Casper chuckled. He didn't know what to say, and well something wouldn't let him lie to her either. He felt like a total idiot at that moment. "Okay maybe just a little...not a lot.." That was a lie, but the truth at the same time, but how he reacted was obvious that was partial lie.
Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped open a little. "Oh, I uh..didn't expect that." She turned around and called Niida whome toook a few large steps, then hopped onto her back. She clicked her mouth twice and she took a few steps up to the wing of light. "Meet me back at the village North of here. I have a proposition for you, jsut don't go and get yourself killed eh?" The large tiger she was riding took a few steps back then in a flash she started running quickly through the forest, heading towards the village she mentioned.
Casper smirked and his steed left off much quicker than her Tiger. Behind him, a trail of fire was left. He moved quickly, jumping obstacles and anything in his way. At the same time, he felt like an idiot, feeling bad for what he said, and just plain out stupid. "I'm an idiot.." He mumbled not paying attention he looked up and was hit, falling off hard. He stood up and just shrugged.
Creon had shapeshifed back into his human form when the elf born lady headed off. He lughed at the situation to him self leaning agenst a tree in the darknss that the vegatation had casted down above him and the surronding area. He watched as the wing of ligt and the vampire would duke it out, or simply walk off their own ways, wither way he still laughed quietly
Dante was on top of the Virisona royal castle, pondering on what to do. It was raining quite hard and he was looking up into the clouds. For the last two years, he had been meditating on his spirits. He had seen the future and what it held, and if he did not act upon it, everything would change. It is almost time.... Dante was soon surrounded by his knights.
Knight Commander: "Dante Eldilon, we have been instructed to bring you into custody where you will await further instructions. We have predicted that you were the one responsible for the death of the Eldilon family and the Minkin family. Nothing awaits you, except death.......we are sorry, my lord."
Dante: ".....So.......the country I once used to rule now wants me dead. Hehe, I don't even seem to remember how I came to be ruler. How foolish was I to let myself be controlled by someone else's spirit? It seems....I must leave this country and seek out the girl who will bring peace between us."
Knight Commander: "Sir, we cannot let you leave. So come quietly or we will take you by force!" All the knights prepare to strike.
Dante: He slightly looked to the side at the Commander. He looked straight into his eyes and the Commander froze. Soon, the Commander turned and killed one of the other knights. All the knights began to strike down the Commander and eventually killed him after losing 4 men. They looked up to Dante, but it was too late. Dante had flown up into the sky. I must find this girl in my dreams. She seems to have the power to bring peace. But if the countries regain their friendship.....I will die. For now, I will await them all outside the Plain of the Ruins in the Forest of Awakening. I will aide the through the forest, for it is my will to do so. He knew the flight to the forest would be quite a while. But at least he would get there before she would.
(so yea, this is where I'm gonna be. Just flying there.....and when I come back, whether you made it there already or not, I'll be ready. Dont wait for me though, I dont want to keep anyone waiting)
