She disliked this. She disliked the fact that Shikon had sensed some form of connection between herself and this... Kravos. She hated the idea that it had been so obvious that the two were enjoying one another's company. What if Snow and Shikon had been against the idea of combining the packs? Sundassasda would be in a very precarious position right now if that was so. She took a few more steps to the side, trying to distance herself from Kravos, trying to maintain her independency from the male. It would seem she was receiving more attention from the alpha pair now, having been with the Rasan, than any time in the past. Was this something to be upset about? Perhaps. She could see it as she was only interesting because she had made contact with the opposing pack, or because she was the first to make contact with the others. Well, Sundassasda was Perfection itself, so she would have to assume that the better of the two options had been presented to her: it was a good thing because she was the first. The first. Long live Sundassasda, the First!
Snow's response to Shikon's words gave Sundassasda the chance to glance at Kravos, her azure gaze glinting in the bright sunlight. What did he really think about a merger? Would it be best for both packs, or would it give the Rasan pack a chance to overcome the Umigos, wipe them out, and claim a larger territory? Kravos had certainly been focused upon getting the pup back, perhaps he had been so focused because he wanted to get into the territory, an attempt at a recon mission. May be it was all a ruse... maybe it was a setup...
And then the pup spoke, honesty and purity spouting from his maw. He wanted to stay here? With Snow?
No, her thoughts had been wrong; with this simple sentence from this young one Sundassasda was able to wipe her doubt away and reclaim the hint of trust she was beginning to procure. Privately, she smiled to herself, the corners of her lips just barely twitching up; yet, mentally, she was beaming. These Rasans... if they're all like Kravos, perhaps they were good... good in heart and mind.
The secondary male sauntered into the mix, a bit perplexed it seemed. He probably didn't want to be there, and that was understandable. He was away from his place of security, around wolves he didn't trust, and he had not found the pup first. Her analysis of the extra male was placed on hold, however, when her mind finally understood what the pup had said.
He what?! He wanted to stay here? Away from his mother? Away from his home? What in the hell did those Rasans do to their pups where the babes are willing to leave their homes to be with someone who isn't their mother? But that was beside the point, the real thing that bothered her was Kravos's response: ''Taymore, they are friendly, and intelligent. If this pup wants to stay, I would allow it..." Her pretty eyes grew in disbelief, her bod tenderly moving forward as she shook her head. That was crazy to say...
"My Alphess, my Alpha," she stated, hesitation in her voice. She slicked her ears back, an unwanted movement but required to show she wasn't attempting to overstep her bounds. "As much as the pup would like to stay, and as deserving as you, Alphess, are to have your own pups, I would assume the babe's mother might want him back." She tossed Kravos an unsure look, wondering if he would at least say her claim held truth within it. "To leave the pup here without expressed permission from the parents... might lead to a war. If I'm understanding Kravos and my lovely Alphess and Alpha correctly, a war is the last thing we want."
She bowed her head, worried that she had upset at least one of the five wolves that were before her: Alphess, Alpha, Kravos, Taymore, or Nyro. Eyes watched her gray forepaws as they shifted from side to side, waiting for an answer to her words.
