Like Death said, out-character-f20.html is a great place to check out. Also the interest-checks-f162.html is good as well.

These forums let you see all the OOC games that have been started, which fits any genre. If you more specifically want only one kind of genre, there are forums for fantasy, realistic, futuristic, etc. Most of those threads are the in game threads, and have an OOC associated with them. (And most people require you to post one.)

Rules of games apply based on the individual forum itself. So, looking at the character you posted in the welcome thread (xD), that kind of character would not fit in a realistic setting. Obey the rules of the individuals forums. You can also PM each forum GM and ask about anything you have questions about in their RP.
