Story

On November the 31st of 2008, Doctor Matthew J. Newman discovered a virus spreading through the air of New York City, and after a few days, ythe dead were beginning to rise, but they weren't like Zombies in a horror movie, they were fast, clever, and still very human like in the way they moved and acted, usually in groups, they were deadly.

It has been 2 months since then and New York City has been closed off from the rest of the world, however, with the hopes of escaping, the survivors of the incident, split across the city begin to fight for survival.

It is eat, or be eaten...

My Character

Name: Zac Michaels
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Description: Zac is white with messy brown hair that reaches the bottom of his neck, he has an athletic build, with some muscle, he is of regular height. He has emerald green eyes. He wears a white long sleeve shirt with a baggy black t-shirt over it. He wears black and and black Nike trainers. He also wears a gold necklace with a sliver cross on it.

Occupation: High School Student
Personality: Zac enjoys company, he is often a bit too worried for his and anyone else's health, he dislikes violence, and is very caring and understanding when it comes to people.
Backstory: Zac had lived a normal life, he had been very good at school, he had a promsied letter of reccomendation to Harvard from his father.

However, all of it went to waste on November 31st, 2008, when the undead began to rise, with his family and friends either dead or missing, Zac has fended for himself for 2 months, now he stands in the middle of Broadway street, holding a switchblade, wondering what to do next.

Rules

-The RP is rated 15, you must be 14 (which I will be in a month's time, besides I'm the RP starter so...yeah, don't know about banning myself.

-Any creatures with red text over their name cannot be used by anyone but me, the RP starter.

-If you are killed you can either decide to leave the RP or become an undead, meaning you control an undead, or you could create a new character here to continue with.

-No more than one line of OOC in the IC thread.

-If there is any racism, abusive language or arguments AT ALL in OOC talk you WILL be banned from the RP.

-Any godmodding = BAN

-No one liners

Name: Cody Henderson
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Description: White with a slight tan color, brown 'surfer do' hair with blonde tips, lean with some muscles. 5'7". Hazek eyes that vary from green to blue to brown in color, they often have an in-between color and sometimes are two different colors. He wears a navy blue T-shirt with the Yankees symbol on it, in addition to white shorts, he also wears white(though dirt- and grass-stained) sneakers. He also wears a silver cross attached to a leather strap around his neck that he took off the body of his mother.
Starting Location: Yankee Stadium
Starting Equipment:

-Duffel bag with a first-aid kit
Occupation: High School Student, though he had a job at Yankee Stadium at one of the snack stands
Personality: Friendly despite being quiet, he is trusting and quick to make friends, though his upbeat attatude has wavered with the onset of the undead. He often played war videogames, but wants nothing more than peace now.
Backstory: An honors student and Varsity swimmer, he lived an average life. He aspired to be a teacher despite his athleticism. His whole life was shattered on the day the zombies attacked. His parents died and he has kept his remaining family close, losing some of them, inluding his grandparents and one of his younger brothers. He is surprised he and his surviving younger brother have lived for two months, but the food has held out. So far.
Other: Though there is food in the Stadium, they make forays into the city to get other supplies.

Forgive me if I don't show much knowledge of NYC in the RP, I haven't really studied it and I've never been there(I'm an Upstater, Wayne County). BTW, I just turned 15 the 26th(June).

Backstory: after being kicked out of nymya school, he moved to nyc as an undercover agent for the fbi and now he is stuck trying to get out of the rotten apple.
Other: used to hate people who were living, now he has to worry about people who are dead or dieing.

Don't worry, neither do I, I had to use Google Maps to find out about Broadway street, to be honest.

Personality: Roy Is A Cool And Laid Back Guy With A Short Temper. Roy Tends To Handle Situations Calmly Until He's Put In Danger, Thats When His Fuse Is Lit. He Can Be A Bit Of An Asshole At Times But Is Also A Great Leader, Using Charm And Wit To Get Through Situations.
Backstory: Before The Outbreak, Roy Was A Local Musician Living With His Girlfriend In Her Parents Home. The Day Of The Outbreak Roy Was On The B Train Heading Upstate To Perform A Benefit Show When The Suddenly The Train Stops And The Lights Dim. The Operator Is Pronounced Dead By A Passenger Causing A Huge Uproar On The Packed Train. Roy Manages To Get Out Alive, The Others On The Other Hand. .Die From Inhalation Of The Virus.

Starting Location: Central Park (I live in Norway, so I'm not too familiar with the places in NY. )
Starting Equipment: A wooden bat from home.
Occupation: High School Student
Personality: Chris is very happy-go-lucky and tends to try and find the positive in everything. He has very bad humor, and he's the only one laughing at his jokes. At the same time he is very short tempered, it can all be a joke in the start, but if you push it, he'll get really mad.
Backstory: Chris was a typicall teenager with bad grades and bad habbits before the virus. He lived at home with his parents, wich he disgusted. His family was very rich, but Chris don't really like the expensive and fancy stuff.
Other: Favourite Color is Black, He LOVES all kinds of meat. Hi's favourite music is Rock and Rap, a good mix.

woot thankies and i have a few questions before I post

1- how do we tell if they are infected/ what are the symptons of the infection
2- is it daytime or nightime in the rp?
3- you shoot/sever the head to kill them like usual zombies correct?
4- is romance allowed?
5- if we become the 'undead' we can think for ourselves correct?

1 The area where the person was infected will burn, their skin will pale and they will die in ten minutes, and become a zombie in a further five minutes

2 My updates will feature what time it is at that moment, the current time is 07:45PM
