IA: hating yourself isn't the answer, you couldn't help her, you were being abused, I'm not saying she died in vain, I'm just reminding you, if you had the power to, I know you would have flown her away with you somewhere safe, but you couldn't. it's not your fault, some things are out of our reach, something we long to be able to do, but we can't clasp it. You couldn't save her, but the people who captured you were not giving out free tickets to save her. You cared for her, and you wish it didn't happen, but dwelling on things we wish we did in the past wont help with your future.
*she wipes away some of his tears*

*time skip to when he was back at school, his arm is still broken*
*Kaito was sitting at the breakfast table when Meiko showed up*
Meiko: Hey Kaito, get me a cinnamon roll! Idiot! *grabs Kaito by the hair and starts hitting him*
*Kaito freezes and is unable to defend himself, since this is exactly how his days started at the lab*

*She stomps over to Meiko and pushes her away from Kaito*
IA: What is the MATTER with you?
*people are starting to look, so she calms a little*
IA: Just go away okay Mieko? Leave Kaito alone.
*She scowls at Mieko and looks over to Kaito, noticing how scared he was, and hugging him. she whispers into his ear softly*
IA: Are you okay? do you want to go to another room to talk?

*kneels by kaito and sits him up, he is bruised and bleeding a little*
IA: what, the heck, is WRONG WITH YOU?! HE DID NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS! NOTHING!
*tears are streaming down her face*

Kaito: I-I'm okay....This is..nothing...
*His breathing becomes shallow and strained, he starts coughing*

*Kaito seems to be breathing normally, the doctors scold IA for calling an ambulance and tell her she can't come back today. Kaito and IA go back to school*
*At school, Kaito starts breathing shallowly again, he stumbles and leans on IA for balance. He coughs hard and starts falling over, before anyone notices he collapses on the floor, barely breathing*

*calls the hospital, but they don't pick up. You wonder why everyone is useless and tries to sit Kaito up again*

*The school nurse seems to have been notified and comes over, when she notices Kaito's condition she picks him up and carries him to the infirmary, making sure IA follows. The nurse lays him in a bed and manages to find a breathing tube so he can breathe a bit more*

Nurse: I'm not sure how much time he even has left, there's so many scars on that poor kid from what he's been through. I'd hate to see him die at such a young age.
*The nurse calls 911 and gets an ambulance*
Nurse: Do you have any family or friends of his that you could call?

*she Chokes a little bit thinking about all he has been through, but holds back tears*
IA: N-no, he doesn't, I can come with him though.
*she Hopes Kaito will be alright*

*she chokes and looses it, sobbing*
IA: I-I'm sorry for crying....
*crys for a little and then calms down enough to speak*
IA: I-it was, awful.... I made.. a new friend... Kaito...and he was being physically bullied earlier.... and now.. he's in the hospital... and... i-i just want... i just want him to be happy. I'm sorry for bothering your dad...

*Kaito is lying in the hospital bed, he has an oxygen mask on, and his face is slowly getting some color back into it. He doesn't seem to be doing well though*

Collectibles
