PLOT
You thought you were normal. Of course, that was until you started tasting bits and pieces of your powers, followed soon by being sucked through a portal to a strange school. Yep. Things got really weird really fast. Ah, well. At least at the University of Magic, you'll learn to control your magic properly (so maybe you may leave in a few years to live a normal life again without burning up your house by accident. No, that probably wasn't you. But it has happened).

Runes, elemental magic, and some others make up the core courses of the curriculum, as well as a few other classes, such as dark magic, necromancy and morphing. Then again, such extra classes are usually rather empty with only a few students, considering how rare some powers are, and how hard they are to learn.

Everyone who is magical has something they seem to have a knack for, whether it's control over a certain element or some kind of magic in general. Here at the University, you'll learn to further control and harness that power as well as learn many other aspects of magic.

THE SCHOOL'S LAYOUT
The UofM happens to be quite a big school, since it accommodates most of the kids with magical powers from countries all over the world. There are several halls dedicated to dorms where usually one or a few students stay in a single dorm, which has all the space which they'll need for study, leisure, eating, and sleeping. There are also many, many classrooms which each accommodate many students. The many teachers teach many things, each usually specializing in a particular subject although this isn't always the case. There is also a beautiful courtyard outside as well as many open green spaces and gardens, where the students can spend their free time if they so wish. Last but not least is the massive library on the top floor, which houses uncountable books both factual and fictional, covering all subjects one could possibly think of, a huge number of the books being in various languages both modern or ancient.


RP RULES
1. No, not every period will be filled with a class. Usually. Most students will have at least one open period within their day or most days.
2. Yes. You can start fights and use your magic pretty much whenever. However, know that if you do something you shouldn't you may get in trouble with your teachers!
3. Watch out for Azure. Either learn to match wits with him or you might have to pay. XD
4. Romance is allowed, and even encouraged
5. I'm not too big on censorship, so you can have all the violence, sex, drugs and language you want in this
6. Some types of magic are quite rare and only a very few have a natural knack for it (and for some, even being able to learn it well at all). Examples of these include the Dark arts, and moreso such magics as necromancy and morphing, as was mentioned earlier. A couple of these are probably reserved for certain individuals unless you can come up with a really good character sheet.
7. You can sign up multiple characters if you so wish.
8. Player killing is only allowed for random (unregistered) characters or if you have the rper's permission.
9. You can be from other anime worlds as well.
10. Have fun!

Avira sat up in her bed her long blond hair a tangled mess as she rubbed the last of the sleep from her eyes "Nnng stupid sun" she said as she swung her legs over the side of her bed and set them firmly on the floor as she pushed herself up onto her feet.

Walking over to her closet she grabbed her usual outfit her black sleeveless top long sleeved black and white coat with the metal buckle in the middle, the red jacket her father had made for her out of his old alchemist coat, her Black skirt, black thigh high socks and her red converse tennis shoes.

Picking up a brush from her bed side table she ran it through her hair and began to braid it.

Once finished she took a last look in the mirror before smiling at her reflection she was almost the spitting image of her father Edward Elric.

opening the door to her dorm room she walked out into the hallway and pulled a key out of her pocket, locking the door she smiled one last time as she made her way down the hall of the Co-ed dormitory building admiring the architecture of the royal looking building.

Rai Elric woke up, and immediately opened his mouth in a silent scream. It had been a few days now, but it still hurt like hell every time he fell asleep. Without moving his artificial arm or legs, he held his right shoulder and bit down, 'just gotta wait it out, just like always.'

When the pain finally calmed down a bit, he got up like it was nothing and went through the morning routine. It was hard with automail, but he'd grown up the hard way, one more trick to learn wasn't all that bad. He stood in front of the mirror, comfortable on metal legs, and looked at himself. The jacket he'd borrowed covered up the arm, and the loose cargo pants he wore made his legs look normal as well. But there was still the matter of his hand. Rai could write it off as armor, maybe an accident that fused his skin to the metal, but that would never work with these people. They knew. So for a few seconds, he looked around his room. Ah, that'll work. He picked up a durrable looking glove that would hide the metal well and slipped it on. Now that he was presentable, he stepped outside...

And bumped right into Avira. He staggered back, still not completely used to the new legs, and braced with his real arm against the wall, "Sorry about that, you okay?"

Avira looked up to see a kid who reminded her of her father and sort of spaced out before snapping back into reality at the sound of his voice "Yeah I'm fine" she said smiling slightly "I'm sorry if My staring bothers you its just... you look somewhat like my dad" She explained making sure she wasn't out spacing out again.

"So you new here?" she asked trying to make small talk.

Rai's eyes narrowed, "Really, i thought it was my automail."

He shook his head, "No, nevermind, forget that, i'm sorry. Yeah, i'm new here, just...came in."

Rai didn't want to mention that he was only just recovering. He hated to appear weak, especially with girls. So he slapped on a fake smile and tried to act normal.

Avira smiled "Names Avira Elric I just "Transferred" in as well" she said putting air quotes in on transferred "I see you have auto mail as well" she said sliding up her left sleeve and sliding down her right stocking "How odd" she said with a confused look on her face as she fixed her attire and plastered a small smile back onto her face.

Rai knocked a knuckle to each leg, getting a metalic clang each time, "Yeah, but i only got one good limb left, and it was just a few days ago...sorry, just a little strung out, so to speak." This wasn't like him, not to be this hostile to someone he just met. But still, it hurt.

Avira's smile soon faded as she heard tee three clanks of metal and looked down "I'm sorry, I didn't know" she said sympathetically hoping that she hadn't upset him or anything.

(Shouldn't laugh but that whole jackass teacher thing was kinda funny)

Avira looked at the boy before her she still hadn't gotten his name "So yuo gotta a name or am I gonna go around calling you shorty all the time" she asked knowing that she was shorter than him and as such had no right to say such a thing.

That was the wrong thing to say. Rai grabbed Avira's jacket with his one good arm and got a little too close to her face, "What'd you just call me?"

Rai never knew why any term refering to small height set him off so much, but he was in it now, might as well finish.

Victoria woke up slightly later than she wanted. "Oh, this is stupid. Now I have to rush.So much for not rushing finally..." She groaned, dragging herself out of bed. She went to her bathroom and washed up before changing into a white tank top with jeans and black high heeled boots. She then hastily tied up her black hair into a long ponytail before grabbing her coat and putting it on on the way out.

James was woke up to the sun shining in his face. He winced as he accidentally looked directly at the sun. "Time to start a brand new day." He smiled. He went to wash up and changed into a casual t-shirt and jeans. He then grabbed his leather jacket and headed out of his room, towards his sister's room. He was about to knock on her door when she opened it and nearly collided into him. "Whoa, lil sis. Watch out. I don't want to get hurt early in the morning you know." He chuckled, putting his arm around her on her shoulder casually.

"Oops, Sorry." Victoria said. "Good morning and I'd appreciate it if you stop doing this." She continued, shaking off his arm.

Avira's eyes went from their normal cocky look to a look of fear she had never been yelled at before "I-I'm sorry i didn't mean anything by it I just didn't catch your name thats all" She said her voice shaking in terror she hadn't meant to upset him.

Fire burst out from under the magically reinforced door of her room. (Reinforced after reducing the original to splinters) Screeching sounds followed, first something sounding like a loud suction, then the sound of glass shattering followed by an explosion. This was of course normal, Professor Patchouli was known for experiments and they were glad her room was more or less isolated. Some of the staff wondered how she hadn't killed her self yet, but they had never seen these experiments and only assumed them failures. Nonetheless the door opened and the small figured girl stepped through the frame her purple robes lightly stained with black soot. though a small swirl of air sweapt over her and removed the offending particles from her clothing leaving them spotless.

she then proceeded to walk along the hallways of the school, she didnt like to leave her room unless necessary but she was required to patrol the halls today. Her right hand dropped into the right pocket of her robe and pulled out a blueish book titled in an uncommon language and began to read as she walked.

Rai shook his head as he let the girl go, "The name's Rai Jackson...i think, my foster parents never told me my real name."

"Huh thats kinda weird don't ya think? maybe we should get your DNA tested" she suggested "You know find out who your real parents are" She said smiling as she felt her feet touch the ground once again " 'cause if you ask me you kinda look like my dad, Edward Elric, except your hair is silver instead of blond " she said rambling on and on but eventually she shut up.

Rai barked a laugh, "Yeah, me, the son of the great Edward Elric. That's gotta be the funniest thing i've heard all day." he added bitterly, "So what classes do you have?"

Hey you never know it could be true" she said sort of glaring at him " and as for my Classes i'm not really sure, I know that I have the Alchemy class for sure though and I signed up for a spell casting class" she said looking up at Rai

Rai cocked an eyebrow, "Weird: i'm in alchemy too, and i think spellcasting was one of them...so, how good are you at alchemy?"

"Huh curious about the competition huh Rai?" she asked slyly "Oh well no point in keeping secrets" she said clapping her hands together and slamming them into the floor as electric blue alchemic lights surrounded her and a sword came out of the ground "And if your wondering how I made a sword out of carpeted flooring its simple so I'll leave something for the imagination." she said grinning.
