Alice jumped out the back then looked up at the building "Looks safe enough" She smiled at Alexi and Drake sitting in the truck, she walked up and sat down on the steps waiting for the two to get out of the car. Well here I am staying is this hell known as the world well at lets I'm not alone *laugh* she laughed on the outside and spoke to her salf on the inside trying not to look to crazy. She stood up on the top step and smiled "Well Boys Welcome Home" At least for tonight....

The truck door opened with a pop as Alexi hopped out and stomped his cigarette out, exhaling the remaining smoke in his lungs. He walked up the steps to the building, it seemed to still be in a semi stable state. "It will do for the night..." he said aloud, looking over his shoulder at Alice. "I'm gonna go ahead and scout it out..." Alexi said as he walked quickly into the entrance and started to check for any dangers.

Drake stepped out of the truck then looked at his dog. "Shadow go help Alexi sniff out any danger" Shadow darted off as Drake turned to the girl "So i don't know your name yet" said Drake. " my name's Drake nice to meet you"


Shadow darted into the building and soon caught up to Alexi. He walked beside Alexi wagging his tail and sniffing at the ground. he could smell nothing amiss so just kept walking by Alexi's side.

Alice was looking inside the building waiting for Alexi to come back and say everything was safe but then she turn to Drake he had now steppped out of the truck "Ohh Hi my names Alice" She walked down the steps and stood infront of him. She smiled at him "So I get your a fallen but why are you alone" She looked at him worryed then made a short smile "I mean no one should be alone in a world like this" Then Alice turned back to the front door of the building Alexi still hadn't come back but she was sen't that worryed about him with a power like that he would be fine.

"I was never Alone. I've always had Shadow with me. I trust him more then anything or anyone in this world." Drake answered. Drake looked at the building for a moment the back at Alice.
"Besides when your able to turn something to ice with just a wave of you hand people tend to avoid you"
Drake then looked at the building again Alexi was taking a long time but he knew Shadow would come out barking if anything was wrong.
"So Alice have you known Alexi long or did you just meet him on the streets like you did me?"

Alice smiled "Yeah I know what you mean about poeple not wanting to be around well us" She looked again back at the door she knew he was alright Alice could sence things like that "Me and Alexi...Yeah we just met on the street."

She laughed for a second then looked at Drake "He tried to steal my car" Alice then looked up at the sky it would be dark soon hopeful soon Alexi would walk out saying the cost was clear but until then they would have to wait outside.

Drake Looked at the building then saw it was getting dark 'Alexi better hurry' he thought.
he looked back at Alice
"when I talked about my power you said 'we' so I take it you have a power too? may i ask what it is?"
Drake looked at Alice waiting for her to answer his questions.

Alice looked at Drake and smiled "Yeah I have one" she looked at him not really know what to say but she tryed to speak as him she new alot about her powers. "Well I can move things with my mind and I can controle peoples mind" She look at Drake still not know really what to say about her self "I believe Alexi called me telekinetic neat name for a power don't you think" again she smiled at Drake because it's better to smile and run in a world of horror than to cry and give up...well thats what she thought.

"You are both Telekinetic and Psychokinetic, Alice" Alexi said as he emerged from the entrance to the building, Drake's dog following behind him. "The coast is clear" he said in an assuring voice and started to head back in "I already found a good room for each of us" Alexi said over his shoulder, that was the reason he had taken so long.

Alice turned to see Alexi standing in the doorway "Cool even better" She was smiling at what he said she ran up the stairs after Alexi once she saw him walk back inside. She looked around at the empty building trash and old ripped funiture covered the inside of the building. Alice ran over to Alexi "So where is it we all will be sleeping for tonight" She walked along side him waiting for answer from him wondering where she would be sleeping for tonight.

Drke followed the other two Shadow soon coming back to his side "good boy" Drake said as he pets Shadow. He looked around the place 'what a heap" he thought. He looked at the other two then asked Alexi "So where are these rooms at?"

"To answer both your questions, our rooms are 2 flights up" Alexi said as he climbed the stairs. Two flights up he walked down the rows of rooms and stopped at two rooms, the doors still intact. "Claim your rooms, I'll be one flight down" he said, he knew the three of them might want to discuss things but he was too tired. "Well, good night" he said as he went back down 1 flight of stairs to his room.

As he pushed the door open the room was a mess, but it would do for one night. He took his jacket off and rested it on a broken table, he took his shoes off slowly and enjoyed the bliss of his feet being free. He sighed loudly as he laid down on top of the mattress, which was still in good condition. He pulled a damp blanket over him and shut his eyes, the last thing he saw was his revolver by the pillow.

Alice watched Alexi walked down the steps then looked over at Drake "What does he think we can't protect are selves" She was kind of mad but she just looked over it for the moment Alice looked in one of the rooms then looked back at Dake. She wasn't that happy about where she was but at least she wasn't alone "I guess I'll take this one" She walked into the room and layed down on a matress that was laying on the floor. Alice took off a jacket she was wearing then layed down on the matrees pulled a pillow to her then put the jacket over her and she then closed her eyes and tryed to sleep at least for one night.

Drake watched Alexi go back down the stairs and the looked at Alice as she went into her room. Drake looked at Shadow then at the last room "well save best for last" Drake laughed weakly as he entered his and Shadow's room. Drake made a bed for Shadow out of some old blankets laying in the room. Drake then made his own bed on the wore out mattress by laying a blanket over it. He laid down on the mattress turned to Shadow and said "good night boy" he then closed his eyes and slept.

Alice was the first one up that day she looked out the room window then headed out the door. She pasted Drakes room he was still asleep but his dog Shadow wasn't the dog look at her she looked at him then went on past the room. The girl headed up the stairs of the building to the roof right when she got out there she yawned the stretched trying to wake all the way up. "Wow this place is empty" She was looking down at all she could see from where she was standing. Alice smiled for the first time she felt happy she wasn't alone and there weren't any of those things after her for the first time she was calm and cool. The only thing that could make this better would be some music which she didn't have but it was still a perfect moment.

Alexi awoke, in a cold sweat, out of breath. He had another nightmare, he shook it off, having one them before, but as he tried to move the blanket was solid. Alexi got a worried look on his face and looked down at the blanket. His eyes widened as the whole bed, and parts of the floor had turned to stone. "Dammit!" Alexi said aloud, he hadn't had an episode in weeks, why now? He closed his eyes and concentrated, the room slowly changing back to its original state. He then threw the blanket off of him and he got up quickly.

Grabbing his coat and putting on his shoes he was out the door quickly.

Alice was sitting on the ledge of the building just looking out at the empty streets and the trashed buildings. She then looked up at the sky the only she could still say was beautiful is this dark and infected world. Alice took a deap breath then got down off the ledge then headed into the building she past Drakes room again shadow staird at her. She walked into the room she had slept in and grabbed her things she was heading down the stairs when she heard him. "Dammit!" She froze on the steps he then walked out the room she stood there stairing at him then she spoke "Good morning Alexi" she mad a quick smile then waited for him to speak.

Drake felt something wet on face "Alice!" He said surpised but then he opened his eyes and saw Shadow licking his face "Ok I'm up, cut it out. Where is everyone?"
Shadow headed to the door Drake got up and followed him to the others.
"Well I had a good dream for once" Drake was looking at Alice as he said this. "What about Yall?"

Alice was stilling standing on the stairs looking down at Alexi then she heard something "Alice!" She looked up the stairs it was Drake's voice. She walked up a few steps then there he was him and his dog walking down the steps"Well I had a good dream for once...What about Yall?" She stared at him for a moment "Yeah I didn't dream about anything" Alice tryings not to dream because alot of times she finds herself floating in the air or attacking people she's around if she dreams.

"Good morning..." Alexi said as he walked towards the stairs, something taking his attention away from his companions. He heard them talking about dreams, images flashed before his eyes from his nightmare. An entire city turned to stone, people rock solid; their scared faces eternally preserved in stone. He shook his head, as if to shake the images out of his head, but it did not work. It was like someone had taken away his eye lids, unable to look away or close his eyes. Even though it wasn't real it got Alexi worked up and paranoid.
