The as the bodies lay still, the Knights amour cracked upon the asphalt. Keagan watched from the window as the brothers fought the Knights. "Damn it." Thomas passed by kicking down a door,
"What?"
"The Knights of Bane aren't you everyday Lycan."
"What da'ya mean?" Thomas shuffled William on his shoulder trying to get on a spot that fits.
"The Knights of Bane, there something I never want to face. Some would call them Dead Bloods."
"What? you mean like a Lycan breed. Nobles and shit like that?"
"Something or other. But its not that simple. Their name means something more."
"Like what? Do they serve some guy named Bane?"
"No, their the ones who killed Bane."
"So why would they name themselves something they killed."
"Its what he gave them, that makes him note worthy." Keagan rushed passed the door, still looking out the window.
"What!?"
"Bane wasn't some Lycan. He was a Vampire Lord."
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"It has to do with everything." Keagan grabbed the rails of some nearby stairs running up the side, Thomas followed behind, mustering Williams weight. " I don't know how, or why. But when those seven lycan drank his unholy blood, they became undead."
--------------------------------------
Outside the Knights rose off the ground slowly, picking up their claymores one by one. The metal that covered over there bodies started to bend and wane. Fur peaked and cracked through the gaps, breaking the links. Keagan and Thomas watched from above as the Seven split two heading for Valdreth and three going for Revenant.
Thomas' jaw dropped watching as they got to their feet. "What the fuck are they? I just saw Rev bash his brains in."
"I know, that's why I said to get moving."
"What are telling me you've fought these guys."
"Yes, and I never could kill them. Their breastplates are too thick, the heart is there only weakness."
"Why not the head? Why, a blow brains doesn't kill them?"
"When I Lycan goes all out, it just comes down to instincts, brains aint got nothing to do with it." Thumps beat on the roof above, footsteps cracked and creaked amongst the moldy wood.
"We need to keep moving!" Thomas cried pulling Keagan to another doorway.
"Listen, just tell your friends to get out. Not they can't handles it, its just..... I don't know, just trust me."
"I don't know if Rev can stop."
"Well they just broke the first rule of the Knights. Once you try and kill them, they'll do everything in their power to do the same."
The pack below made there way around the Brothers watching as the Knights made the first move.
Almost in unison, the beast grabbed tightly on to there cloaks ripping them off their bodies. Underneath, glowing amour of Iron shimmered in the moon light, with the Scots Cross engraved in their Breastplates, with a shimmering sliver cross covering over their hearts.
Again, as one, the knights spread out their arms, riding their swords over there head, holding with their right, and supporting the blade with their left. Spreading the legs out wide, the knights stood firm, ready to attack, Their yellow eyes fading behind the shadow of their masks.
An eerie silence fell over the street, only the faint barks and yips of he packs could heard. The claymore swords started to twirl over head before the mailed Beasts swung down on the Stelfire brothers.
