Biography: Adrienne was born in 1981 to two wealthy lawyers. Her parents worked a lot and didn't have such a close relationship with eachother although they did make time to spend with Adrienne. She loved being an only child and became pretty popular in school. When she turned 15 she enrolled in a private school in New York City. She would stay out a lot and her parents really wouldn't notice. One night she was traveling alone on the subway when she was grabbed and taken off the subway with the oddly beautiful looking man. He bit her and left her in the back of a restroom where she was found by the Halite clan. She has been with them for 11 years now.
Personality: Adrienne is a very graceful girl. She is a perfectionist and corrects people often. She finds it disgusting to drink human blood and she has never done it before. Adrienne has a low temper which often causes her to attack but never to bite. When she is calm she seems like someone who would be interested in ballet or gymnastics, which she does do.

Name: Alphonse Forrest
Age: 22 (bitten), 367 (actual)

Biography: Alphonse was the son of a poor fishing family when he was "alive", working laboriously every day to help them put food on the table and keep a shelter over their heads. Life was difficult, but he was very happy with loving parents and a mischievous little sister. On a stormy night over 3 centuries ago, Alphonse's family's ship ran aground during a terrible and unexpected lightning storm. The jagged rocks on the shore ripped the vessel to pieces and his mother and father drowned in the chaos. Alphonse was able to stay alive by grasping desperately to a piece of floating debris, but his body was too battered and torn to survive much longer. When he finally washed ashore, he lay alive on the sand for nearly 3 hours, unable to move and bleeding to death alone in the darkness. The patriarch of the Forrest family found Alphonse as he was about to pass from this world. The desire to stay alive was so great that he cried out to the man for help, and the vampire responded with a bite. His little sister, Emily, who did not accompany the family on the doomed voyage, lived on to have a family, whose descendants still live in Rocky Point.

Possibly from the circumstances surrounding the events leading up to his death, Alphonse gained the ability to discharge powerful bolts of electricity from his fingertips, making him into a deadly force to be reckoned with and a natural choice as one of the guardians of the coven. However, using his power quickly diminishes his strength, forcing him to feed more often and in greater quantity than most others.

Personality: Alphonse is very quiet and thoughtful, always choosing to remain in the background rather than being the center of attention. Family is very important to Alphonse, and he always tries to act in the best interest of his coven. As one of the oldest members of the Forrest family, he frequently takes the role of the "big brother", trying to provide advice and welcome new additions to the family, as well as act as both a spiritual and physical guardian to his brethren.

Appearance:


Alphonse normally walks about shirtless as the fabric in clothing interferes with the electrical energy that travels through his upper body, but he occasionally opts to wear a brown leather jacket over a variety of pearly white shirts, both short and long sleeved, most with vintage fastenings like looping string or large metal buttons. He favors long pants, also in white, and never dons footwear unless absolutely necessary.

Name: Kaleigh Hailite
Age: looks to be 20. Is actually 135

Biography: Kaleigh was born into what they call a poor family. She had one older sister who she didn’t get along with often. Although when the times called for it they were able to pull together and made a great team. Despite not having much money, Kaleight’s parents deemed it important for the two sisters to be put through school. They were, by no means, popular among the other children but they got the education that they needed to later get descent jobs and help their small family through the tough times.

When Kaleigh was 16 she met a man by the name of Cael. Though the two didn’t much like each other at first they grew to respect each other and, with time, fell in love. Due to be married and move into a cozy little house not too far away from their families, life couldn’t have been better for the two at the moment. That is until one night when Kaleigh was out taking a walk and happened to walk into an area that was attacked by a group of vampires. She tried to get out but was unsuccessful and was turned. She woke up miles away from her home in a strange place that she had never seen before but no matter how much she wanted to escape and go back to her family and Cael she wasn’t able to.

She soon learned that the coven that had turned her and taken her in were the Hailite coven and that she was no where close to her home any longer. What was more, apart from her increased speed and strength, after the first few months she became aware of a new ability of being able to hear other’s thoughts. At first this scared her and, not being able to control it, she used to lock herself away in her room and not allow anyone inside. But as she came to grips with this new ability she started daring to venture out once more. Lately she has noticed that sometimes when her mind is in a particularly strong condition she can lash out mentally at others and control their actions. Though this ability is very weak and she can only do it for a very short amount of time before she loses control once more.

Personality: Kaleigh has been described to have multiple personalities on several different occasions. She is still somewhat afraid of her new life. Even after a century of living within the coven she finds some of the older, more powerful vampires, intimidating to her. When around the eldest she becomes rather timid, keeping her head down and listening more than talking. She finds that she still has much to learn from those who know more about the world of the night than she does and therefore also has learned to respect for them. On the flipside, around humans and vampires who are closer to her own power status she is more open, playful even. She doesn’t get angry often but when it does happen, whether she is with an elder vampire or a human she will not back away from a confrontation. She will stand by her beliefs until the end. This has gotten her in trouble and has hurt her in the past and while she is afraid of this happening when she can think with a clear mind, when the anger gets the better of her all of the fear seems to go flying out of the window.

Name: Meryll Forrest

Biography:
Meryll was born in South Carolina in 1848. Her dad was an important merchant so she was pretty well off. She had an older brother and younger sister who looked up to her. Everything in Meryll's world was fin until the Civil War. Her brother and father were called into the confederate army. Without them to make money, she her mother and sister went hungry on a daily basis. Eventually Union army officers began to raid their house for supplies. When they didn't find any, they raped and murdered her mother and sister and left Meryll for dead. She was "saved" by the forrest clan and has been there ever since.

Personality: Meryll is naturally sweet but shy. She is known to have moody and quiet moments but is normally friendly. If you get on Merylls bad side therewill be h- e hockey stix to pay. She's extremely loyal to her family and wouldn't double cross them for anything unless...

Other:
Meryll can draw energy from people around her and redirect it. Sometimes she can use it to heal peole. but in some cases the ability can be used as a weapon.

Name: Savion (pronounced Sav-eye-on) Creed Hailite
Age: 20, actually 121 (was changed in 1888)
Appearance: Savion is 6'7", with short sleek silver hair that goes just past his ears, and has narrow smoldering deep topaz eyes with long eyelashes. His face is long, with thin dully colored lips, a strong straight nose, and angled eyebrows. His body is on the slimmer side, but also has a little above average musclemass. His skin is pale with somewhat of a hard marble look to it, but is smooth to the touch at the same time. On his Lower neck, shoulder and on his chest he has scars from being attacked by other vampires multiple times.

Biography: Savion was born in 1869, London. He was apart of a wealthy family, who had a good amount of power. He was one of 4 children, and was a twin on top of that. His twin brother William wanted more than anything to succeed his father and in herit as much as he could, but Savion was never very interested..but even so his Mother and Father favored him above his brother, and that made Willian hate Savion with a burning passion -- but not only because their parents favored him, but because their beautiful adopted sister Jenessa was in love with Savion..and William had always secretly desired her for his own ever since she had been found abandoned in the streets of London at the age of 13, and taken in by Savion.
Savion was unaware of how outrageously insane William was with jealousy and hate, and when he announced that he and Jenessa were planning on getting married (Since she wasn't really family), William snapped. On the night before the wedding William snuck into Jenessa's room and attacked her, stabbing her in the torso, screaming "How could you love him, when I've loved you for so much longer?! I won't let him or any other man have you!", and when Savion came to check on her and found her laying on the floor, he rushed to her side, but was taken by surprise when William came from behind him and stabbed him as well. He fell to the ground on his stomach, and was turned around and pulled to his feet by his brother, who had the knife poised for another jab. But before he could strike again, Savion quickly pulled his pistol from his jacket and shot William in the chest. When William's grip on Savion was released, Savion stumbled back, and fell through the open window, falling 10 feet to the ground below.
But even with a stab wound to the back, and a broken arm, Savion somehow stumbled his way away from the house, towards a path that went through the woods leading to the City to get help...in the forest he blacked out, and thought he was going to die. Before he passed out he saw a blurry face, and then all was black. That was the night he was turned into a Vampire.
He now lives in Rocky Point, and has been with the Hailite Coven for about 20 years.
(There's quite a bit more to his story after he became a Vampire and before he joined the Hailite Coven, but I'll probably end up telling that somewhere in the rpg)

Personality: Savion is cunning and very intelligent, and isn't afraid to take on any challenge that comes his way. He's a bit of a showoff, but is still friendly enough if he isn't feeling threatened in any way. He's a generally likeable person, who's fun to be around even though he can be a bit sarcastic or rude, even though he doesn't mean to. Just don't get on his bad side, because he can be quick to anger sometimes depending on what you do, but usually keeps everything under control.

Other: Savion has the strange ability to make people See and "feel" things. Such as making them believe they're on fire, and trick their mind into making their body think they're in enormous physical pain.

Name: Illyndril Hailite
Age: 19 (bitten) 307 (actual)
Human/Vampire: Vampire
Biography: Illyndril, as a human was quiet and shy. She kept mostly to herself, and didn't really expect anyone to ever notice her. When she was bitten her whole world changed. She became out going and rebellious, just as she had always wanted to be. She was loud both in dress and in personality, though she remained slightly soft spoken. She doesn't view herself as particularly 'beautiful' but enjoys finding beauty in others. She has never turned another human, though she had often thought about it, to have a companion forever seems awfully romantic, but she has yet to find anyone to do that with. She is beginning to come to the conclusion that if two humans have a hard enough time making relationships last during the short time they are alive, it might be all but impossible to find eternal love.

That's not something that worries her though. Even though she is a romantic at heart, she lives for the moment, making such long term plans seem petty and unimportant. She spends most of her time partying, enjoying the rush of humanity she gets when she'd in a crowd. Any time she doesn't spend in the middle of a party scene she spends writing, reading, or drawing, habits she has yet to break since becoming a vampire.

Her life as a vampire has been slightly uneventful. She tries not to call too much attention to herself, and for her first century she was pretty much a recluse. Clinging to her old human habits, she rarely even went outside. Eventually she realized that she was wasting her life, a strange realization since she had forever to waste, but she saw the world had changed, and she didn't want to miss it. Since then she's thrown herself into the world, and has adapted quite well. She fits in better in the 21st century than she ever did in her own. People seem to share her ideals, and feel more free to voice them, and she is just starting to learn to be herself. Essentially, her life is really just beginning, as she's finally starting to open up.
Personality: She is still quiet, though much less shy. She is rebellious by nature, and very artistic, though she doesn't like to share her art with others. She is friendly, but can be vicious and deadly if you cross her.

Biography: It was Beverly's ninth birthday when her life dramatically changed. Her single mother who was a drug addict had decided to sneak Beverly into a bar with her so that she wouldn't have to bother with a birthday party. Her mother got drunk and left without her leaving Beverly in the hands of two young male vampires. The taller one bit her and left her lying in an allyway where she was eventually discovered by the Hailite clan. Beverly has had a hard time adjusting. She was found two weeks ago and is still discovering what she can do. Her speed and amazing sight are obvious ones but that's the only special ability that she has. She loves the scent of humans but tries to fight the urge to have them because of her fear and disgust.

Personality: Beverly can seem like a normal child to many people so it's easy to pass her as one although she does have trouble in school being around so many sweet smelling humans. Beverly loves to be around her new family but she does wish she was normal again.
Appearence: Beverly has snow white skin with teal eyes that turn purple or black when she is thirsty. She is very petite at 3 and a half feet and 50 pounds. Beverly has blonde hair that is layered.
