Where is one to hide from them when nightfall lasts forever? How is one to be sure they are not lurking about? Humans--they have always been the lower species. Always accused of greed, warmongering, and intolerance. But to what extent, it seems? The Vampires, they are perfect, beautiful, dangerous, cunning--so highly glorified that one may not see past the facade and into the darkness that surrounds them. When talk of Blood-Suckers was none too scarce, long ago in a forgotten city, they walked amongst the Men. The two races were nearly indiscernible when miscellaneously living with the other in Pangaea, the city named after the continent from which all life came. More and more Humans are disappearing upon the setting of the sun, on a seemingly endless world of night. Such an issue would have been resolved long ago, if only it was determinable where they were going...

Oh noes! Not another Vampire RP!

Oh yes.

Okay, to make it simple to those of you who are interested, the setting is in Pangaea, a medieval-like city where Vampires tend to reside. Now, I am honestly tired of seeing all these frilly soft-core Vampires on this site, where they're all "Omg, I liek hate human bloodz so imma be good from now on". Pardon my French, but bullshit. For once, I would like an RP with a DEEP plot with Vampires. Yes, your Vampire can be "good", but there has to be a struggle of some sort with their character to keep it that way. As for the humans, let's not go all super Mary-Sue. By this I mean no skinny tiny frail little teenagers toting some mass weaponry (like battle axes... yes, I've seen that) or invincible super-kung-fu-action-heroes. Now, all of my cynicism aside...

Your character can either be a Human or a Vampire, both able to be Nobles or Royalty or Commoners. (Most likely, Vampires will have higher statuses.) Don't be afraid to be creative with the positions or your character's appearance. Of course, this is sort of medieval, so there won't be any super alien blue-haired race or anything, but you don't have to stick to the standard "European look", for lack of a better description. Natural (by natural I mean real-world) hair, skin, and eye color should be used for humans, while the Vampires can have ANY color eyes and natural to gray-scale (white, gray, pitch-black) color hair. FYI: I'm getting really pissed off about how many people expect to get into this role play with one-liner descriptions and anime-based characters. I really don't care if your preferences lean towards Japanese animation-based people, but this is becoming a little cliche. Please keep in mind that this is REALISM. And don't whine to me about my rules because there are plenty of other fluffly vampire role plays to join out there.

Now, onto the content: Don't be afraid to get violent if you have another person's permission to have character-fights or if one character attacks the other. Without their consent, however, you may not harm or control in any shape or form another person's character. And please keep any sexual activity to the most minimum amount of detail. Romance is encouraged, but cyber is not if there are other people posting. Tell me if you want this to be a one-on-one so I can start another RP for that and keep this thread open. PLEASE have a good grip on the English language before you RP. Posting length can be no shorter than this paragraph, I suppose, and honestly don't bother if you aren't going to post every 2-3 days. ~~My Character~~

Name: Danette Bristow

Age: Early Twenties

Looks: Early Twenties

Race: Human

Appearance: Appearance wasn't too extraordinary. Deep brown eyes and skin the color of burnt caramel, with dark brown, nearly black hair expertly and rather neatly twisted into dreadlocks that were pulled out of a feminine face by a headband and reached the woman's lower shoulder blades. Just slightly over average height, she had a rather toned and muscular build with curves to match. A few low-hanging necklaces were looped about her slender neck, each either made of various wooden beads or tribal-looking while decorated with animals' teeth. She seemed rather concentrated most of the time, full lips always sealed into a straight line of silence. Clothing consisted of dark beige lace-up leather boots that reached up to her calves with the heels slightly thick, her pants a lighter tone and just tight enough to allow the silhouettes of her legs to be visible. A black corset with an amber insignia at her left side was tied tightly against torso over a baggy white shirt with long sleeves, running along the curvature of widened hips and a proportionally narrow waist.

Personality: Quiet, stubborn, outspoken when necessary. She despises even the thought of Vampires most of the time, partly blaming them for her family's death. She can be friendly when the time comes, but at the moment sees nothing to be happy about.

Weapons: Under her sleeves which are baggy enough to hide them, she wears two bracers at her forearms that are leather along her wrists' side and coal-black metal on the other. There, two long knives each on one arm, clung to the metal, their blades running flatly against the bracers which had slits in the leather to guard to sharp edges and up to her elbows until shifted manually to where the edges pointed outward. She is rather skilled in hand-to-hand combat, though if one were to have some sort of long-reaching weapon it would be difficult for her to stay on the offense.

Biography: Danette was a child when it first occurred to her that Vampires lurked about the city, while her parents were usually too busy with work to care. Her mother served in a nobleman's estate as a housekeeper while her father was a humble blacksmith, though her family seemed content enough. But one winter when she was in her early teenage years, an illness carried by blood swept across the city, claiming the lives of her parents. After Danette was finished grieving she made a living off of stealing food and performing menial tasks for various people in return of a few cents. A she grew into adulthood however, she had earned enough to maintain a modest lifestyle, though unable to find a home outside of Pangaea. Hardened by her life in the city, she learned to protect herself by channeling her combat skills and obtaining subtle weaponry. Now that the threat of Vampire attacks is growing, she is beginning to grow a bit restless as well as angry.

Appearance: Her hair is a pitch black and is usually pulled up into a pony tail with bangs on each side of her face that com to her shoulders. Her eyes are a light gray. She is very pale with a tattoo on her neck and on her back. She is fully developed. She will some times where a scarf that covers her face nose down and flows behind her. She usually wears all black. A turtle neck that is cut open on the shoulders and on the sides, along with baggy black pants that are tied around the waist with a blue string and that are pushed up to her knee and bandaged the rest of the was down so the bottom of her pants look puffy around her knees. She doesn't wear shoes, she just bandages her feet.

Personality: She can be very sarcastic at times. but deed down she can be nice. She is not afraid to speak her mind, she doesn't kill humans all the time but she will kill a human none the less, she likes to make friends and loves a good challenge
Weapons: She has a many Raze's, 3 of which she carries at all times, all being 3 foot, one held in each hand and one held in hr mouth. She also has to wooden stick about 5 feet long and 2 metal poles the same way. Knows martial arts (is that ok?)

Biography: Skai, as shocking as it is, was not born a vampire, she was turned at the age of 5 by her adoptive parents, her real parents left her in the forest when she was a baby. She grew up being taught the life and the ways of a vampire. She left when her house was broken in by humans that discovered what her 'mom' and 'dad' were, she managed to escape, while they killed them. She now lives in the forest and promises to get revenge.

Name: Valissia Garnet

Race: Vampire

Appearance: Valissia has longer black hair that hangs between her shoulder blades (partially covering an elegant tribal tattoo of the moon) often tossed over shoulder and bangs that sweep across her forehead to cover one eye and cup her chin. She wears tight black pants that are in a sense riding pants tucked into calf high black boots. Her top is a crimson corset covered in black lace. The back of the top is low enough to show the corset piercing that runs from the top of the tattoo to the base of her back. Her skin is an almond color that sets of her silver eyes which are often lined with eyeliner to give her a catlike appearance.

Personality: She is often distant and untrusting, much of this comes from her race and what is needed for a vampire to stay alive and hidden. Though this is true She is deeply loyal to anyone who she dosen't instantly kill.

Weapons: She prefers to use her fangs but carries four black daggers lined with red roses in the hilts.

Biography: She didn't choose this life. Born to a family of vampire hunters she was cursed with the love of the very one she was hunting. This was discoverd bu her mother who was the leader of the clan Valissia belonged to. Her mother sent her on an assignment to kill the one she loved with her brother along as a witness. Valissia was spared the pain of killing her love because the deed had been carried out by others who knew of the two. She watched as her brother was drained of life then she was forced to live in place of the one whose heart the vampires thought sht had wrongly stolen. Over the years her ferocity became well known after she hunted down the ones who carried out the killings and eventually her own mother fell prey to her fangs.

Name: Chrono "Cross" Crusade

Age: 99 (says that she's 19)

Race: Pure blood Vampire

Appearance: Cross has a small body frame. She stands at only 5'2" and weighs only 100 lbs. She has a slim and slender perfect figure. She looks like a sixteen year old girl then a woman in her nineteen.
SHe wears a black elegant dress that she keeps hidden under a black hooded cloak, that also covers her face.


Personality: Quiet and cold towards others, Cross is the type of girl that barely shows emotion. When she does it's usually sadness and anger. Cross isn't the type of girl who lets anyone break her core.
When blood lust hits her, it's impossible for her to take control. She loves getting into trouble.

Weapons: Knight's sword. It's handle was pure gold with a cross on the middle
Its Name is Xenon. Cross stole Xenon from her Father the night she killed him.

Biography: Cross is the only child of the Crusade family. The Crusade clan is a clan of powerful pure bloods, that send fear in most vampires. Even though she was a girl, Cross was forced to train her ability harder then the boys in her family (Because only childin the family) Her father trained her and spared with her showing no mercy. As a result, Cross became rebellious and disobedient.
One night she snapped and killed her mother and father, and escaped the clan hiding herself in the shadows.





Name: Wolfrome "Wolf" Alexander

Age: 18

Looks: 18

Race: human

Appearance: Wolfrome has a normal body frame, it's slim and not that muscular. He stands at 5'8". He has pale skin, with dirty blond hair. His eyes have different pupil colors. the one on the left is emerald green, and the right is ice blue.
He's a simple boy that wears old worn out brown pants and a loose beige dress shirt that's too big for him. He wars a black leather belt that makes his shirt more puffy. He has an old beige cap that's also worn out just like his brown leather (lightly heeled) shoe.

Personality: curious and a shy boy, Wolfrome is your typical gentle man. He's not in the higher ranks but he's not exactly what you would call a peasant. he only speaks when he is asked to.

Weapons: a small knife that he hides in his pants.

Biography: Wolf is your typical teen age boy. His slightly poor family struggles to survive/ He helps them by doing work at an early age. When he was ten his parents both died leaving him to support his two little brothers and one little sister.

Name: Michael "Hawk" Richards

Looks: Delicious lol

Appearance: Michael a very muscular and in shape physique. He is part of the royal guard, so he must be and stay in shape. He has dark brown eyes that could be mistaken for a pitch black. Michael has a tanned complexion, a hansom and charming look to him even if he doesn't use it. His pitch black hair only touches the top of his back. Standing up at 6'1"and weighing approximately 185lbs, he makes the a perfect knight. He usually seen wearing normal plated knight armor, his helmet always on when on duty. Michael's second life, Hawk is seen wearing an ebony black armor that is much lighter than his knight armor. Michael also wears a hooded black cloak over his armor, always keeping the hood up to conceal his true identity.

Personality: Michael isn't the most sociable person, but that doesn't mean he can't have a descent conversation with you. He is too humble for his age, which is a reason why people see him as a very respectful man in society. His opinion on Vampires is a very prejudice one. He despises them and sees them as monstrous mongrels. His wit only goes toward surviving and fighting. He's not the emotional sort, but he's outgoing. On duty, whether being a knight or Hawk, he is somewhat cold ,and sees his mission as his first and sometimes his only priority.

Weapons: Knight's sword, and shield as a Knight. A silver edged long sword and crossbow as Hawk

Biography: Michael was born and raised in Pangaea in an upper/middle class family. Michael had lived with his Father who was a blacksmith, his mother who was a simple housewife, and his brother who who was an noble knight. His older brother was older than him by ten years, which was a huge gap between the two. At age eleven, Michael was learning, what his brother Nicholas was already doing as a professional. Michael wanted to be in knighthood with his brother, that was his dream.

One day during Michael's first year of studying and uneasy training, Nicholas came home, bringing a beautiful woman with him. He was already saying that they would be married the end of the year. He was filled with more joy than anyone had ever seen hm, and the beautiful mystery woman just stood by, gracious in every aspect. She was allowed to spend a night in the families house. Michael awoke to the loud screams of his mother. The woman that Nicholas had brought home was a Vampire, and she had already killed the men in the house that could pose a threat to her. Michael tried to save his mother, but he was too late, the Vampire had already dropped his mother's dry corpse to floor. She moved in for an attack, ready to kill him, until a silver tipped arrow pierced her heart.

A vampire hunter that was tracking her killings had saved Michael and adopted him after the traumatic night. Michael secretly trained under the Vampire hunter he only calls master, while he trained to be a knight. He now slays vampires, especially after his master retired. He is known by vampires as Hawk,a name that their species gave him, since the hawk is one of the few creatures that kill vampire bats. His efficiency in combat is great as he combines the skills he's learned from the knights and his master.
