Various questions before I make my roleplay...

Beginning is just background information and does have to do with this interest check, so bear with it for a moment haha.

Alright, so I'm new to roleplaygateway, but not roleplaying in general. I've sent in character sheets to a couple of roleplays, but they haven't gotten to start yet. So I decided to make my own. I like it a lot and it has been up for two days. It's mainly about these four gods, two of them become angry at the humans and are trying to destroy them and the other two are trying to find some way to stop the madness. It's called The Gods' Lament, so if you want more information on that (and it is relevant to this interest check) go look at it. Ehem, but that's not the point of this post really. But the reason I included that information is because I wanted to make another RP, in kind of an alternate universe with the same gods from that one (cause I spent so much time on all of them and love them XD), that has to do with five (give or take a few depending on how many people are interested) of the common people getting cursed somehow and they have to do something for one of the gods or another to break the curse.

Before I thought about making this RP I kind of wanted some feedback from others about various things I can include, change, or take away from this roleplay... or if I should just give up on it in general :P. So, here goes!

Do you think mythological roleplays about gods and goddesses are overdone on this site?

What kind of setting would be best? A more feudal one? A modern one? Etc.?

What are some wicked curses that a person could be plagued with?

What do you look for genre wise in a RP? Good fighting? Some romance? Some magic?

Anything else that might be a good idea?

Oh, and do you prefer to post in roleplays from the roleplay tab or roleplays in the forums?
