In the year of our Matron Mother; 1801, life for the residents of Vashka is peaceful. The humans that inhabit the five nations that make up Vashka are flourishing under the Peace Treaty that the nations' ruling councils signed just 5 years ago. But all is not as it seems. A secret war is being fought in the background by two powerful, but hidden, races. A bloody struggle for supremacy blossoms in the underground of the nations' sprawling metropolis'. Who will win in this fight for dominion?




Lifespan: 100 yrs
Physical Traits: The humans that inhabit Vashka are pretty much identical to the humans that inhabit Earth. There is a large variety of physical traits, such as body type (muscular, lean, skinny, etc...), hair and eye colour, and so on.
Abilities: Humans have no special abilities.
Extra Info: N/A


Lifespan: 150 - 250 yrs
Physical Traits: Daemos have two physical appearances, human and animal:
~Human appearance: Daemos are much like humans in regards to physical traits. The only difference is that their eyes are either red, orange, amber or black, no other colours. They also have fangs, which can extend and retract. They usually only extend when angry or aroused, or if they wish to bite someone and infect them with the daemon-taint.
~Animal appearance: Daemos can take the shape of their daemon (animal spirit). The daemon can be any animal, even extinct, mythological or prehistoric creatures. While in this form, Daemos can still talk.
Abilities: Daemos are much stronger than humans, with a longer lifespan. Their senses are also more acute. As they age, their abilities grow. They start to develop the ability to control certain aspects of nature, and even the elements. They also have some innate abilities, such as shifting to their daemon shape, infecting a human with the daemon-taint, and materializing clothes on themselves when they shift from animal back to human.
Extra Info: The daemon-taint can be passed on in two ways. One is through recessive genes, but this makes a born daemos a rare occurrence. The second is infecting a human through a bite. A daemos doesn't begin to shift until it hits puberty, at about 15 yrs of age. At about 20 yrs of age, a daemos' powers begin to stabilize, and shifting comes naturally to them. It's also easier to control their animal instincts. Also, the daemon shape of a Daemos isn't passed on from it's parents, or through infection. Instead, the daemon-taint chooses a daemon shape that suits the person.


Lifespan: 100 - 200 yrs
Physical Traits: Angeleus are like humans, only they have wings. The wings themselves can be retracted into their back, so they can walk among humans without fear. The wings can have any type of colouration of any bird species.
Abilities: Angeleus are stronger than humans, have keener senses, and a longer lifespan. They also have a few innate abilities, mostly flying, and retracting their wings. As they get older, they begin to be able to control the winds' movement, and weather patterns.
Extra Info: Angeleus are born, not created as Daemos can be.





Vashka is divided into five nations, that surround a large city called Sun City. Each nation has a founding city (a capital city of a sort), and in the founding cities, a council resides. Each council has five members, called Nobles, from the aristocracy of the nation. The councils meet once a year in Sun City. Sun City is home to the King and Queen, and the five royal families.



The culture of Vashka is much different than what you would expect on Earth. For one, Vashka is still in the 1800's. The garb of men and women in Vashka is much like traditional Romanian clothing. The men wear shirts, vests and trousers, with sturdy boots. The women wear blouses with vests, and either skirts or trousers.

The religion of Vashka is a bigger issue. No religions that are found on Earth exist in Vashka. The people of Vashka worship a deity called Gaia. She is a sentient being that lives in the very core of the planet. Because of this, all of the temples in Vashka are underground. A small temple will go 2 or 3 levels below ground. The main temple in the founding cities are five levels deep, and the royal temple in Sun City is 10 levels deep. When referring to Gaia, the citizens of Vashka call her Matron Mother, Matron, Mother, Mother Gaia, or just Gaia.

The Daemos and Angeleus are not known to most humans, and they try to keep it that way. They blend in with the humans and follow the human customs in public, while practicing their own in private. In Daemos culture, the females are dominant. Angeleus is the opposite, the male being dominant, like in human society.



Humans have customs much like the humans of Earth. Daemos and Angeleus, however, have some of their own customs, as well as following human ones.

The most important custom for Daemos and Angeleus are mating rituals. They are held in high regard. For Angeleus, the mating ritual is a complex but beautiful dance-like flying maneuver. The female and male Angeleus must complete the maneuver in perfect harmony. Doing so shows that the two Angeleus are soul-mates, and deserve to be together. For Daemos, the female is the one to chose a mate. The male must do something to show it is worthy of being the females mate. This can be anything. The female may ask the male to do a task, and if he completes it to her liking, then she will chose him. It may even be that a male shows certain traits the female is looking for in a mate, so she will choose him.



This is a war between the Daemos and Angeleus. There is also a newly made organization of humans called The Grey Brotherhood, whose purpose is to wipe out all Daemos and Angeleus. There will be some fighting, but I want lots of character interaction instead of all-out fighting, ok? The purpose of this roleplay isn't just to fight.

Affiliations: These are what you will put in your bio sheet. I will explain them now so you know what each means.
Daemos- on the daemos' side
Angeleus- on the angeleus' side
Neutral- on neither side
Oblivious- doesn't know of the war (a human who doesn't know of the other races would have oblivious as their affiliation)
Brotherhood- on the Brotherhood's side


Symptoms of Infection

This pertains to the infecting of an human, by a Daemos. The human is infected by a bite, through which the daemon-taint, a virus of sorts, is passed.

Immediately following the bite: Victim shows no symptoms, seems perfectly healthy while the immune system battles the virus.

Within 12 hours: Eye colour changes. This denotes the virus overcoming the immune system. Other, non visible, changes occur; mostly within the genetic structure.

Between 12 and 24 hours: Dizziness occurs. Victim becomes disoriented. This is followed by nausea and an upset stomach. The upset stomach soon escalates into burning pains. The burning sensation gradually spreads to the muscles of the whole body.

At 24 hours: The first shift occurs. Very, very painful and long process. Can last up to an additional 24 hours.

For those humans in the rp that are thinking of becoming infected, or for those who are infected by accident. >:3

For example, if someone had a daemos character, and they said in a post that a human called them a demon. This is wrong. There is no such thing as a demon in Vashka. They don't exist in the religion, so people wouldn't know what a demon is. Same goes for God. He isn't a part of Vashka's religion system either.

History: When Nathan was only 6 yrs old, his father ran away, leaving him, his 1 yr old sister and their mother to fend for themselves. Their father was a Daemos. Nathan was born a Daemos, while his sister was not. When he was 17, he lost control of his powers and bit his sister, passing on the daemon-taint to her. Now, he and his sis are living on the streets, looking for their father.

I will NOT be accepting any more Daemos, as of now.

History: Born into an influential family in the Angeleus circle, he is looked up to and regarded with interest. Heavy expectations were placed upon him growing up, and shrugged them off. He's never wanted to be anything special, though he enjoys the respect that he receives from others. And though he is a star in battle, he'll forgo his duties without a second thought if he feels he has something better to do, especially if it involves a female.

Appearance: fair skin, white hair, slim. fair skin, white hair, tinted blue in he front, white/silver falcon wings.
Abilities: very keen eyes, and ears. can fly. stronger than a human. can retract and extend her wings, and can fly. good control of wind, but uses it sparingly, seeing it as a crutch.
History: ghost is her nickname to the humans of Vashka, her home is in the southern region of trann, close to the sun city. she is a faulkner, a bird trainer, to send messages or whatever. also she is an acomplished metal smith. her parents were falcon winged anegeuls, both held in high reguard by other angeleus. ghost has been on her own for many years now. she has a bit of a safe house, her home is open to any angeleus who need a place to stay for a bit.

Race: Angeleus

Species: In Louisiana we used to have lots of hummingbirds. I would love to simply sit back and watch them during the day. (they were better than most comedies or anything hilarious!) After moving, however, we don't see them anymore. So, simply for old times, I'm choosing the hummingbird because that's my favorite bird type. And I chose this pictures because the wings were really pretty!

Affiliation: Neutral

Appearance: Near the base of his wings you can see a small puddle of green before the wings vanish beneath his clothing. As the wings extend, the color changes from green to a rich, deep purple which one could get lost in. Near the base of his wings is purple. Light, deep, swallowing up any pain and sadness to leave behind a sense of awe, love, and even joy. If viewed under the sun, the purple on his wings can even appear blue if the angle is changed just right.

His hair is black and wild, unable to be tamed by much of anything except water. Deep, royal blue eyes bring a sense of safety and calmness to almost all who look. White shirt and pants cover his body while a purple shirt with gold edges is worn over his clothing. The purple shirt splits into two at the waist, half extending down the front and the other half extending down the back, and the ends reach around his ankles. A slightly darker purple sash is worn around his waist while brown boots adorn his feet.

Abilities: He can read the air currents to help him with flying. As for controlling the wind, he still has a ways to go before he can do that.

History: His mother and father wanted nothing to do with the war and so their thoughts and views were passed down to their only son, Inu. Inu does not like to fight and would much rather spend his time watching the other two races. He lived a rather normal and very happy life with his parents until a group of daemos destroyed his home and killed his parents. And yet he still holds no ill will towards them. He gets along as best as he can in the world, working alongside all three races, and often spreads his views about peace.

Most of the time, however, Inu can be found sitting in a tree somewhere while playing a flute. He loves to play music and he often finds himself surrounded by other birds who listen to his music. He never chooses a side in the war and tries to stay out as much as possible. He believes that all races are beautiful and no race is more beautiful than the other.

Other: He has a flute which he keeps with him at all times. It's usually stored in his sash in a way that it won't get in the way of him moving around but it stays hidden at the same time. He'll go with either gender as long as he deems them 'cute' in his eyes. (To him there's a difference between 'beautiful' and 'cute'.)

very well, may i ask why no myth?

Of course you may. There are a few reasons.

1. You didn't capitalize anything in your profile.
2. You repeated a few things.
3. You misspelled 'Angeleus'. Seriously... wtf is 'anegeuls'?

These things irk me, and make me wonder, or maybe worry would be more appropriate, that if I allowed you to join my RP, you would use the same lack of proper punctuation and grammar. And that's not the kind of roleplayer I would RP with.
Sorry, but that's the way it is.

1) i do use grammar when i want to, some people look past he mechanics of my writing to what i actually write, and don't mind my grammar. 2) i apoligse for repeating a few things, people make mistakes all the time, i repeated somethings in a way to show the diffrences between the character humans see, and the character my character is away from humans and 3) in my opinion barring someone from an rp on the grounds misspelling a made up word is a harsh offence. but your opinion is your opinion, and i won't try to change that. your choice is your choice.

I know you use grammar when you want to. I did go look at some of your posts in RPs you participate in. And it may be harsh, but I'm trying to make this RP work out, and I'm not going to accept people into it if they irk me. It is my RP, I should be able to enjoy it, no? This is a old one of mine, that shouldn't have died, so I'm giving it another go. I enjoyed the original immensely, even though it was brief. Unfortunately I have no idea if half the people who participated in the original actually RP here anymore.

Appearance: Dante Moroes stands around 5'9" tall with a weight of 148 pounds. Also his hair is white with dyed light blue streaks that is parted on the left side. Dante wears a jet black trench coat following along with black buckled pants. He also wears black gothic boots that has steel toes. Dante does not wear a shirt leaving his chest. He also has four silver hoop piercings on the left ear.
Abilities: None
History: Dante was a foster child having a lonely life. Few years went by and the foster home was soon demolished to make way for business and other things. Having the foster home destroyed left many like Dante homeless on the streets. But strangely most he knew in the foster home soon disappeared in months not being heard from again. He now lives in shelter of a small abandoned and run down house not to mention fend for himself in Raa city.

I put lots of detail when describing characters so people know what they look like. This proves to be a bit of a problem when writing a plot for a role play, however, because people don't take the time to read everything which really irks me. Anyway, i still think you have an awesome character.
