When we find the willingness within ourselves to leave everything alone,
simply through the willingness to stand alone in the unknown,
immovable and ever watchful, is how we can find out the answer
to one of the two most important questions that there is.

We stop trying to change anything.
We stop trying to overcome anything.
We stop believing in anything.
Just let everything be.

And at the same time we find ourselves reborn.
Rendered new in a way that is impossible to describe with words.

It's a place that is always free.
It's a place that is always untouched by anything that has ever happened,
in the world of time and space.

It's a place of perfect innocence.
It's a place of perfect emptiness as it is a place of perfect fullness.
It's a place where nothing ever happened.

And in it we'll always be living in the conscious recognition
that nothing has ever occurred.
That nothing has ever happened.
That we're always free..

The sun hid its heavenly light behind the rolling swarthy clouds of above, stirring and combining themselves into something darker and dense. The machines and mechanical operations roared throughout the industrial city, accompanied with the sound of other people talking amongst the walking crowds. The streets were filled with workers, prostitutes, street-sellers, and travelers. Musty sweat polluted the air along with the large billowing clouds of industrial smoke which hovered upwards to join the grey above in the movement of darkness. It was another day in Spenseth the largest and most industrial city in the of conglomerate of aligned city-states that made up the entire upper-hemisphere of Landis.

On one of the large sturdy high-ways was a rather peculiar man. He carried himself in a low and understanding way, indicating some form of knowledge about the world. It was as if he knew what every was, and what was to come at any moment. Cigarette in mouth, and head dimmed he continued to sway with the crowd which walked in a large group up the street. A stagnant vest was the outer layer of his clothing, a rather small yet stylish vest that lacked any real color. It was a dull grey that held no life or no vibrant feelings at the look of it. Under it he wore a similarly blank like white dress shirt that stretched to the elbows before they were cut off, the sleeves slightly rolled upwards just above the pointy dry elbows. He was pale as a phantasm, and the dull clothing didn't help that dull look to him. The dark pants, and then an even darker tie would top off everything along with the dress shoes that he wore all the time, no matter the clothing he had on.

His messy hair that was all over his hair swayed and swerved with his steps and with the high blowing currents of the wind. This was simply another day on the job making his way to the designated location. Though that was the case this man was special, a old friend. It seemed like yesterday they were both back to back shooting up a base full of men, and assassinating the prime minister. That made this event special all in its own way, an event and job that was better than any offered at the time. Still a overwhelming animosity and fear built side by side, overwhelmingly power almost enough to make this bounty hunter frenzy on everyone around him. This was the story of a man named Versus.

A hour and 15 minutes later

The jingling of the two crimson bow tied bells resounded throughout the pet store. Walking through the door was Versus already, and of all the people in the pet store already, he was the second cleanest. Even though he bathed everyday their was one person who bathed a mouth-dropped nine times a day. Even now Versus couldn't wrap his head around the concept of taking that many bath's in one day. She was truly a clean person, but she also loved animals. Every time he saw her she either had a animal or was helping others with animals. Unless of course they were out on a date that they flipped a coin for, which he rarely ever won no matter how hard he tried.

Walking through the door he could already hear the high-pitched greeting that he had grown accustomed to. Just as she got sighting of him he could already hear her voice lower in a groan. He could tell he was loved. Starring for a moment with a unlit cigarette in his mouth he walked with his hands firmly in their pockets towards the counter before leaning on it and taking the cigarette out of his mouth slowly before stuffing it in the breast pocket of his vest.

"Stella..." he spoke, his voice sliding as smooth as water, not a single crack in his voice and with a moderate bass level to it.
