With the site lag and all, I've taken up my free time getting back into art. I figured I'd first start with my first, and best, character Vexar Marques. It's been a while since I've done any art of him. In fact, the last art I had of him was a commission from a Wizards of the Coast / Legend of the Five Rings artist. I let him have free reign from a vague description and ended up with something epic.

This time, I want to see Vexar and his specifics. Rather than overhaul the character and my descriptions of him, I'll just make the artwork! So, expect to see several pieces of artwork of him. First off, an epic drama shot of him. Major work in progress, only an hour into it so far. Let me know what you think! I figured it'd be interesting to have a thread chronicling the design / re-design of a character.

You know I love this. I want to make a Rozzy one that fits the same style now D: It really is inspiring! I can't wait to watch it progress!

There's not much to say at only an hour in except that the drawing itself is amazatastic. Just don't be afraid to add some hues to those flesh tones later on and--pfft, what the heck, you know what you're doin'. I've got my creeper eye on this.
