"...Hey, do you feel that?" Allegra asked as a wave of carefree pleasure came over her. It didn't impair her judgment--she did this to herself a lot, whenever she needed a quick happy-fix. Still, it was curious that someone else would have the same power as her, because she certainly wasn't doing it.

It kinda tickles, she thought. But it didn't look like Isabel liked it. Poor thing, all in hysterics...

".......Wait. Cops?" Allegra repeated, her reaction delayed. "Yeah, good idea, let's go and hide," she agreed, following Roger's lead. She wasn't exactly worried--she had no criminal record, and her power wasn't obvious to the naked eye. She only went along with him because he was nice to her, so she figured she should help him out.

"There's probably some private reading rooms towards the back."

Slowly, gradually, Isabel manages to pull herself out of the daze. She hears someone screaming--then she realizes it's her. How embarrassing.

So she wasn't so far off about this Wolfgang puppet master's intentions, after all. She stands by what she's said before: he'll make an interesting opponent.

This first test seems easy enough. It's probably to lure them all into a false sense of security, Isabel figures, just like she'd just gotten done saying.

She walks right up to the old man, her eye twitching with a mixture of respect and disgust. "Very clever, old timer," she says to him. "Not bad at all." It appears that she's declaring an unspoken war between the two of them, for her pride or amusement. Even she's not sure which it is.

Isabel turns on her heel and walks calmly to the back of the library, finds herself an alcove, and, with much grunting effort, moves a bookshelf to better conceal her position. "That should do it." She sits on the floor with her feet propped up on one of the shelves, ankles crossed. Now all there is to do is wait.

There's a strange man sitting on the sofa munchiwunching on lomticks of toast!

{Vincent Wolfgang}

Wolfgang chuckled at the reactions. He could sense a bit of malice from the Isabel girl...oh well...he could deal with that later. Now it was time to take his leave. "Good luck," he said softly as he retreated into the far shadows of the library.

{Jimi}

Uh oh, this was bad. What if the cops where to figure out this secret? That couldn't happen...it's just too dangerous. "Hey everybody!" yelled Jimi. "We should be intelligent about this...anyone got any ideas for when the fuzz gets here?"

He really didn't wanna' have to deal with the police for multiple reasons. For one, if they checked his record they would see his arrest for the death of his cousin. And two, he was already being searched for to be returned to his parents. "Can't let that happen," he thought.

All of a sudden he heard the sound of sirens in the distence...

"Shit..."

Ryan was still laughing into his palms. He hadn't laughed in a long while, and he sure hadn't laughed this hard in his whole life. As the effect wore off, Ryan took his hands off his face. Tears were rolling down his cheeks, he had laughed so hard. Slowly, he began to put more things together in his head. Where he was, what had happened, and the call to the police. He looked around for a place to hide. Waiting out the cops was never a problem, he was always hiding from something. Behind a few book cases, there was a little nook. It was surrounded by so many old bookcases that it looked forgotten. He quickly ran there for cover, as the sirens came ever closer.
Run Rudy Run...

Thankfully, Nori's head finally cleared enough for him to think straight. So this Wolfgang fellow was the one who invited everyone here, and apparently he had just called the cops. Some host.

Still, Nori couldn't let himself get caught by the police. If they identified him, they'd call the hospital back at his hometown, and he'd probably spend the rest of his life lying around doing absolutely nothing. Seeing as they couldn't escape the library, he and the others basically had two options: to fight or to hide. For a fight to break out would be no good at all; it would attract unwanted attention and, although they had an obvious advantage, the police would just call reinforcements or get the government involved. Yep, that's a definite no-no. And so the only other option left was to hide. Nori smiled. The best place to hide would be in the open, at least for him -- no one ever noticed him like that.

Facing one of the tall, partly curtained windows stood a lonely-looking couch and a desk. While everyone rushed off to hide, Nori calmly picked himself up from the floor and ambled over to the couch. It was moth-eaten, dusty, and looked just about old enough to be an antique, but somehow it was still quite snug. He made himself comfortable, and then reached over to the desk, which supported an impressive stack of books. He plucked a book from the pile on the desk, brushed off a coating of dust, and casually flipped it open at random. Of course, he wouldn't really be reading at all; instead, he'd be concentrating on keeping his ears on the police.

Nearby, he could hear the one called Jimi yelling loudly after everyone. He'd better stop that soon, Nori thought grimly, because if he doesn't, then the police may hear him and our cover will be blown. The incessant whine of sirens could be heard clear and sharp now, even without the aid of his power. His grip on the book tensed breifly, and then he forced himself to relax again.

Reikka shook her head messing up her hair in an attempt to keep her thought train in order. "Oh man what if some of the police recognize me?!?!" Reikka nearly fainted as she stumbled around quickly moving her pistol from her side pocket to the back. She began to sweat a little as she looked around at everyone scrambling around. Reikka quickly ran to a book shelf against a dusty wall moved it slightly away from the wall and slipped her rifle behind it running to a nearby chair and sitting with a random book. Reikka looked around to see what everyone els was going to do as she scanned the cover of the book she had grabbed "Guns and their history" Reikka frowned at her luck ~Well its too late now~ she thought to herself as she opened the book and hid her face beneath the contents. "We should be intelligent about this...anyone got any ideas for when the fuzz gets here?" Even though Reikka was kicked off the force this term kind of upset her. She thought to herself blankly staring at a Desert eagle in the book ~Well we where always pretty good about timing I give it 30 seconds top~ Reikka wiped a drip of sweat off of her forehead and prepared herself for the worst.

{Jimi}

"Shit..these people really don't like to pay attention to me," Jimi thought to himself. He let out a deep sigh. Well it looks like hiding was the best option. He scooted behind a bookshelf and peered out through the cracks in the books.

{Police}

Chief Barson put his ear to the door of the large library and listened....Nothing...

"Well, the only way to be sure this call is legit is to check it out right guys?" he said to his two officers. He reached his hand forward and opened the door.
