For hundreds of thousands of years, humankind has lived and both fear and awe of the most majestic, yet terrifying creatures ever to roam the earth, sky, and sea: dragons. The dragons often fought among themselves over territory and pride, leaving the land ravaged by the violence of their titanic clashes. Then at last, one day in the early tenth century, humanity had tired of living in fear. Now with the military power to oppose the dragons, and with the dragons themselves scattered and weakened by their own fighting, mankind pushed their oppressors to the brink of extinction, and so dragons faded away from history and became nothing more than the stuff of fairy tales.
Now the year is 2025. An expedition to find untapped oil reserves in Antarctica instead finds the frozen remains of what appear to be giant winged reptiles, almost perfectly preserved in the ice. A shadowy branch of the military takes notice of this and confiscates the remains, intending to thaw and reanimate the creatures they once were to create a new kind of super-weapon. But the bodies are too badly damaged to properly function as living creatures, and so they are imbued with mechanical parts and upgrades that will not only allow them to live again, but also make them more powerful than they were in their previous lives.
The upgrades are installed, the bodies are thawed, and now, after centuries of extinction, the dragons live again. But they are more than that now. They are dragon cyborgs: Dryborgs, as their creators call them. Confused and shocked by not only their new bodies but also by this new world they have awoken into, the Dryborgs ignore the commands given to them via the non-functional mind control chips implanted into their brains and escape their captors. Some are curious, wanting only to see the new world. Some only want to live peaceful and solitary existences. But some have unfinished business with each other and seek to continue their millenias-old feuds.
In this RP the player creates and controls up to two Dryborgs. You can roam peacefully, carry out your own agenda, or go on the warpath; the choice is your's. There is more at work here, higher forces hiding in the shadows, but we'll get to that later. For now, here are the rules and character fill-out.

Once a few people join, I'll make an OoC. When we've got three or four players we'll start, and more people can join as we go along.
In ages of hate and raging swords / Along these gray plains so wild and cold
The armies of dragons, men, and elves / All stormed the dark gates of a thousand hells
And now we'll declare eternal war / To every damned new hellish lord
