Someone yelled that they should imagine weapons, and Stairdweller saw several of the others imagine weapons - swords and guns. Stairdweller didn't like guns, and she figured she would have to land if she wanted to imagine a melee weapon. There was another option, though.

She didn't say what she wanted out loud, but instead pictured it in her mind. a quiver of green-and-white fletched graphite-composite arrows with stainless steel broad heads, and a spring-steel compound bow, double-strung with a cat-gut bow string. The quiver appeared at her side, strapped securely to her white belt, and the bow materialized in her left hand. It was a much nicer bow than the one she actually owned, but she figured she would need the extra draw-weight to hurt one of the beasts.

Stairdweller knocked one of the arrows, and smoothly drew it back to her ear. She didn't raise her bow like she usually did, because the monster was almost directly beneath her. She breathed in, filling her lungs with air, then slowly exhaled. At about three quarters exhaled, she released the bowstring. The arrow flew with a whistling twang, and buried itself almost to the fletching in the bird-bear's torso. That just seemed to make it angrier. She fired three more arrows before she managed to get the creature in the throat. It fell gurling to the dust, its talons digging up aimless tracts in the dirt.

Stairdweller crowed in delight. Unlike many of the others, she didn't have a moment of guilt. She'd spent almost her entire life living out in the country, and she'd killed things before - hunting, butchering livestock, and eliminating vermin. This wasn’t any different, except that her health and safety were at risk.

She cast about her, looking for something else to shoot. She saw that one of the others - a teenage girl - had cast crucio on one of them. Stairdweller was going to shoot it to put it out of its misery, but the girl - Linnet - beat her to it. So, Stairdweller looked elsewhere. There were dozens of the things, so she loosed arrows at will, always aiming for the heads and necks. As her mind concentrated on shooting, she began to sink slowly toward the ground. She focused on staying in the air, and the sinking stopped - apparently, things she imagined became reality, but she had to focus on them or they disappeared. She was quite a bit lower now, in range of the monsters, so she let herself drop gently to the ground and landed on her good foot. She hopped awkwardly over to the body of the bird-bear and yanked her arrows out of the still-twitching corpse.

Another monster - this one looked like a person, but with teeth growing out of its face and the backs of its hands. It snarled and reached for her - Stairdweller jumped into the air, rocketing up about ten feet into the air and out of its reach. She knocked one of the bloodied arrows she had just retrieved, and loosed. It sank inches into the monster's right eye, and the thing dropped like a stone.

Wow this is alot of chaos triblade thinks to himself. If the weapons from your imagination become real how about some box weapons from Reborn he thinks summoning up a a small cube and ring. Sticking the ring into a small indentation on the box a hedgehog with a bunch of spikes on its back comes out of the box. The hedgehog goes running at the monsters suddenly multiplying into four different hedgehogs. Up next is Xansus's guns he thinks as two guns appear in his hands. Pulling the trigger a concentrated shot of fire shoots out incernerating the monster that got in the way. triblade then steps back watching as the hedgehogs keep multiplying and impaling more and more creatures.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby SilverxDusk on Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:04 pm

When Silver destroyed the mosnter, he looked at his surroundings. Everyone seemed to be in a heated battle. There must be someone causing this. He suddenly heard someone laugh above him. He looked up, to see that there was about seven people floating above the fight. They appeared to be watching what was going on. "Who are you?!" he yelled angrily but they didn't seem to hear him.. He watched as Stairdweller was able to float. Maybe I can do that too. He quickly shut his eyes and began focusing on the task. I'm light as a feather. I can fly with the clouds. I'm light as a feather. I can ride the winds. Immediately began floating. He was shocked but then regained his compusure. I have to keep focus.

When Silver reached the seven strangers, he caught his first glimpse of their faces. They were all very pale, had blue eyes, had a number written somewhere on their face, and seemed to be amused from what was going on below.

"What the hell is going on?!" he yelled angrily and caught their attention.

"Ahh. So finally one of them has reached us. So this is the one huh? I thought it might've ended up being the girl shooting the arrows. This one looks pathetic," said number four. She had long blonde hair, had blue eyes, was slim but fit, and was very pale.

Number one suddenly rushed at Silver. "You shall now be marked.." he muttered as he put his hand on Silver's forehead. Immediately, he began sending energy from his hand to Silver's body. Silver's body began shaking. "Gah!!!!" he yelled as he felt the pain race throughout his body.

"Tell them we are known as the Demon Hackers." he said as he let go of Silver. The seven disappeared and so did the monsters. Silver immediately began falling.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Aerissa on Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:32 pm

Aerissa continued to fight, even allowing a laugh as she sliced through monsters with her Energy Sword. After a short while of fighting, she had killed five, and the sixth was coming. "Let's go!" This monster was troll like, but seemed smarter. His skin was a brownish orange color, and he had sharp teeth that were dripping blood. Though she hated it, Aerissa had to admit, the thing was scary. The monster lunged forward, catching her as she tried to run. She wriggled violently in his grasp, her breath catching in her throat as he sunk one of his teeth into her neck and slowly spun her, leaving a long, trailing scar that traveled down her body, starting at the base of her neck on the right side(her right), and ending on the front of her left ankle. The scar covered both back and front, blood spilling from it. A scream on anguish tore through her as Aerissa finally managed to free herself, jumping to the ground and wincing, pain shooting up her ankle and back. "Ow..." Running forward, she stabbed the monster, leaving it dead. "People are floating now?!" She stared in disbelief as Silver lifted into the air to approach seven strange figures. "Friends? Or enemies?" While she thought that question, one of the figures rushed as Silver, pressing a hand to his head, coaxing a scream of pain from him. "That can't be good..." Aerissa's eyes opened wide as Silver began to fall. "Crap!" She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to make herself float. After a long anxiety filled moment, she succeeded, rocketing into the air and soaring in Silver's direction, trying to pick where to snatch him. "I can cross courses....There!" Aerissa flew toward the spot, catching Silver in her arms and grunting with the effort as his weight carried her back down to the ground. Fortunately, she landed on her feet, stumbling slightly. See, she wasn't very strong, not strong at all. Even Silver's weight was way too much for her. "Oh jeez...." She set him down on the ground, sitting beside him for a moment to catch her breath.

Silver saw blackness. He had been knocked out unconscious. His body began shaking. An X appeared on his cheek. What happened? He was regaining consciousness, and was now aware that there was someone next to him. He tried to move but it felt like there was a boulder over his body. "Gugh.." he said as he began coughing. "What happened..?" he managed to say.

Re: RPGateway..RP(IC)

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Souseiki on Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:15 pm

Souseiki had reached a state where his body moved and thought on its own, completely controlled by a independent part of his brain. Because of this he didn't feel any pity for them, as he was doing it from reactions and wasn't thinking at all when he did. He turned here and there, felling monsters around him but managing to stay in the same spot in the center. He unloaded his guns and slammed in a new round for both, allowing a short time to think with his usual self. How many have I killed already? I've lost count.

He looked up just in time to see Silver fall from the sky and Aerissa catch him, then her setting Silver on the ground. She looked a bit tired, and it wouldn't be long before the monsters started closing in on them. I should help! He thought of a mental image, one of a electrical discharge to stop a couple monsters' hearts around him, long enough for him to go towards Silver and Aerissa. As the image was was how it actually happened, and those few monsters that were closest to him dropped dead. In that moment he bolted towards the two, shooting a couple of monsters in his way without stopping. As he neared them he once again emptied his pistols, replacing them with loaded magazines he thought up. Luso fired a couple of monsters who were nearing them with only his left handgun, finishing the new round and replacing with another. "You guys okay?"

Re: RPGateway..RP(IC)

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Stairdweller on Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:28 pm

A faint mechanical clanking sounded through the din of combat. Off in the distance, Stairdweller could see that the big portcullis were beginning to close. There were still plenty of monsters on the field of combat, but when the big doors slammed shut no new ones were able to pour out. Stairdweller soon ran out of targets - there were still monsters left, but none in her immediate vicinity. She was a good shot, but not an excellent one, and she trusted that the others would do a better job of fighting the monsters than she could at this point.

Her leg was still bleeding profusely, and she was starting to feel a little light-headed. She knew that it was probably from shock rather than actual blood loss, but it still wasn't a good sign. She tucked her bow between her belt and quiver and grabbed the bottom edge of her pink-striped shirt and pulled, attempting to rip off a strip for bandages. The shirt didn't rip. She pulled harder - still nothing. "Guess it's not like in the movies," she muttered. Then she remembered the way she had produced the bow, and concentrated on a couple of packages of sterile 4x4 gauze pads, the good non-woven kind, and they appeared in her hand. She used the first sponge to mop away the thick, dark blood from the edges of the wound. She didn't wipe away the clot that was beginning to form in the wound itself, as she knew that it would stop bleeding faster if she left it there. She dropped the bloody gauze to the ground, and it vanished in mid air. The wound was deep, with a torn, ragged edge. She was sure she would need stitches, but she wasn't nearly brave enough to consider stitching herself. Instead, she just pressed the gauze as tight as she could against the wound, shoving it in a little.

It hurt like all seven circles of Hell, but she gritted her teeth and waited for the vision-dimming agony of it to pass a little before she imagined a roll of mepore bandage tape. She taped the gauze in place. The tape immediately darkened, but didn't seem in danger of soaking through the bandage.

When she finished tending to her wound, she realised that she had sunk to the ground while her mind was occupied elsewhere and was sitting sprawled in the blood-stained dirt. She tried to climb to her feet, but it hurt too much to put weight on her injured leg. She clambered to her hands and knees, and then managed to work herself into a standing position just standing on her good leg. Once she was there, she jumped into the air again where her hurt leg wouldn't slow her down.

Some distance away, she could see that she wasn't the only one who was injured. Aerissa had a long spiralling gash around her torso and leg, and Silver Dusk was passed out on the ground. She hurried over in a series of long, floating hops, until she had reached the other two. A third person, Souseiki, arrived just before she did.

"What happened to him?" she asked Aerissa. "I know first aid, maybe I can help."
