In a universe far from Earth there is a planet known as Xeraxis. Formed by sentient elemental beings and then populated by those same entities, the new inhabitants of this world worship the elements as gods. They built four shrines, each dedicated to one of the elements, and for many years the inhabitants of Xeraxis lived in peaceful harmony together. However, few things last forever, and soon enough a young monk from the city-state of Zephyr (the Wind faction of Xeraxis), using a forbidden spell, unleashed upon Xeraxis a massive and powerful dragon that is a physical embodiment of the wind element.
With the ancient beast at his side, the young monk (Cairo) easily overthrew the rest of the peaceful world and titled himself "Cairo the Conqueror" (modesty not being one of his more prominent characteristics). Cairo has ruled over Xeraxis for the better part of a century at the point where our story begins, and has enslaved most of the free world.
The choice is yours....do you wish to join the small but fast growing resistance? Or do you desire power so much so that you will align yourself with Cairo, in the hopes that after he crushes the rebellion he might reward your loyalty with even greater power?
As of now Cairo only has limited knowledge of the resistance so they're mostly free to do what they please. However as their plans grow more elaborate and they get closer to actually confronting Cairo, it will only be a matter of time before he finds out, and when he does, a battle of epic proportions is sure to follow.
Does that sound interesting to anyone? Or does anyone have any suggestions? All feedback is welcome.
