The Story

A world of peace is only but a dream..a long forgotten memory. Darkness had embraced the world within its claws. The world has been sent back to the early days of civilization. Children from powerful clans had been taken from their mothers' hold, and been taken to a feliclity where no one knows. Everyone is too frightened to even try to help. And whoever did never came back home. Hope isn't even alive in the corners of the hearts. Ten years had passed and the world had become more evil and twisted than before. But in the corners of the world, a few clans had blossomed to bring the world back to the light. Only three clans are the known of earth. The Hojori Clan is one of the last survivors of the art of witchcraft and wizardry. The Pyro Clan is the warriors of fire and faithful guardians of the Gates to the Netherworld and followers to the God of Fire. And the Kiochi Clan are the shapshifters and fallen angels of this world. These groups are well hidden and secretive. No one exactly knows they exist. But one night, when a child was born into the Pyro Clan, the soul of the God of Fire had been sealed within him.

The former leader of the Pyro Clan decided to hid him away in another clan til the God awaken within the child. And now many years years later, the darness had consumed more hearts than before. And the Pyro Clan had now figured out that there are rulers who control this chaos. But is there someone bigger behind them? Now the young leader of the Pyro had set out on a journey to find the God and take out the darkness. But feeling that the full power of the god isn't awaken within body, it will be much harder and diffucult. But what if something much more opposing is waiting for them...

.:Rules:.

I. No godmodding or powerplaying. Even the God of Fire and the Ultimate Ruler can't. They can take more hits than the average human but remember that the Fire God is still in a human body and mixed with a human soul. So he still can can die.

II. Romance is encouranged. By all means, it makes the story more dramatic. But keep it at Pg-16, including yaoi and yuri. Also love triangles are welcomed.

III. Violence is most encouraged. I don't care if you want to be gorey. But killing another character without permission is forbid. Ask first before you go slicing someone's else head off. Profanity is also encouranged. In real life everyone is gonna do it. But just don't drop the f bomb every sentence. It gets annoying...

IV. Before posting a character that is needed, ask me if you can have that role. Certain characters need certain info containing in their history. I will pm you the character's important info if you want to play that role. But by all means, the character there on is your role to play.

V. You are most welcome to add more plot twists in the roleplay. Like lets say that one of the rulers end up switching sides or something. Twists are most welcomed.

VI. Please be atleast semi literate. That means post atleast 3-5 sentences, type with correct grammar, and punctuation. No text talk. Put speech in "quotations" and thoughts in italics.

VII. On a side note, Others play no specific role. They either can be a lackey, just someone who is there, it's specificly your character. Like in the ranks, just put what you do. For example an other can have no specific side. They are more like neutral characters. The setting is kinda like the fuduel era of Japan, guns are allowed but nothing like AK47, basically guns are very rare. The main weapons though are like swords, sycthes, and such. Clothing can range to modern or past time. Currency on the other hand is very rare. There are not that many riches nowadays. But they are notified as yen mainly.

VIII. The most important rule though, is to have fun!!! I know it's cheesy but I like to say that. ^_^

Rakuen ue Jigoku: A set of twin katana that is her prized possession. The blade of Rakuen is a light blue. It is a holy sword that contain spiritual powers. One power is that it can sense out strong demonic auras. Also it can heal one who is close to dead. The sheath is white with the symbol for heaven encrypted into it. Kiyomi only uses this weapon for emergencies. Jigoku on the other hand is a demonic sword. This is her primary weapon. The blade is a blood red. The sheath is black with the symbol for hell encrypted into it. The sword itself is a killer. It takes the life of anyone who opposses her. Though when powerful blood has made contact with the blade, the sword gives out a small screeching sound. It cries out for more of the opponents' blood. When killed a powerful opponent, the sword itself gets more stronger.
Miscelaneous
A silver necklace with her name ecrypted into it. It was a gift from her brother and she never takes it off.

Powers
Fire Manipulation: Like everyone from her clan, she has the ability to bend fire to her will. Her fire color ranges from orange to blue meaning how hot it is. But those that are stronger elders and leaders can sometimes change the temperature in the room to the point where the skin can melt off one's body. But Kiyomi hasn't reached that point yet so she can only make it hot enough for one to have trouble breathing.

Power of the Dragon: This is a higher state of Kiyomi. This state is still not fully known to her. In this state, Kiyomi's body is much like a flame. Her abilites all cloud up with another, making her much more powerful. This allows her to tap into her full power, allowing her to do much more that is only known to the stronger elders and leaders. But this state only last for about three minutes and only happens when she is in serious danger. But this power is too much, leaving her extremely exhausted and weak. And sometimes this will cause her death.
Skills
Agility: Kiyomi is very quick on her feet. She is very acrobatic and flexible. She can squeeze through small spaces and can climb very easily.

Strategizing: Kiyomi is very good with making plans and thinking things out. She always like to have a plan before rushing out.
~History~
Kiyomi is the sister of the former leader of the Pyro Clan. It was two years after when the clan had given the god away when Kiyomi was even born. Her father had given her brother the rite of leadership when she was eight. After that, Kiyomi had looked up to her brother. He was an idle in her eyes. But on her tenth birthday, dark figures had ambushed her village. She had stayed with her mother. She quessed that her brother had left to help fight with her father. Though when her mother could hear the faint voices, she hid her young daughter under the small closet. Kiyomi sat there, fright overwhelming her. As the dark figures intruded in their home, she watched her mother tried to fight them off but they brutally killed her. Feasting on her body. Kiyomi felt hot tears whemling in her eyes. Without thinking, she had rushed out. Her anger boiling within her, making her fire much more wilder. But atlast, she had been knocked unconsious. When Kiyomi awoke, she was in a cage surrounded by many other children. She tried to fight again when a demon had came to get her. But it just laughed and dragged her out. She screamed as they dragged her through a crowd of demons. It had threw her in what seemed to be a ring with two others. She was terrifed. And suddenly two large demons had ran towards them. One had tackled one of the children, ripping at his body. In fear, Kiyomi had tapped into her state. She had burned most of them into complete ashes. After that, Kiyomi was their prized fighter. She had fought many, humans, demons, anything and anyone. But at the age of seventeen, she had had enough. Her powers grew and she had burned down that whole fecility, killing everyone. She had returned to her village but found that her brother was no longer there. So she was handed the rite of leadership. Since then, she was a proud leader. When she had turned twenty, she had decided to take on a pupil. She picked the most powerful young one out of her village. She wanted to leave the village within someone who she had great faith in after she was gone. And in search of the God, she has a feeling that she might not come back....

As her name implies she is free spirited and strong willed, like a strong river. She can be harsh at times, but only in an effort to push others away when she feels they are getting to close to her. She keeps a distance from everyone in an effort to protect something. Some may assume she has dark secrets she doesn't want anyone to know about, others may think she has a dark past she doesn't want to relive. It's hard to say which is true.

LiJiang carries a beautifully crafted scimitar she has dubbed XiMei (Fire's Edge). The blade has intricate designs carved into it, which LiJiang often uses to administer poison when she fights with said blade. The blade is magical in nature, but none other LiJiang herself and the maker of the sword, who is long dead, know what powers the blade possesses. LiJiang also has an array of shuriken, and kunai.

~Abilities~
LiJiang has all of the abilities possessed by her people. She is, in essence a witch. She uses her powers to aid in her stealth as well as in the potency of her potions. She has been working on methods of improving her defense, but the extent of that ability is yet to be seen.

~History~
Not much about LiJiang is known, even to her own people. She was raised in secrecy, and trained all her life to be an assassin. She is a poison master unlike any before her, this is her specialty. LiJiang does not talk about her past, and thus it seems as though something traumatic may have happened to her when she was younger, but it's hard to say what it might have been. No one knows who her parents are, LiJiang isn't even sure. It is certain she has a dark past, but the elements of it are unknown.

The God of Fire is serious, though a bit philosophical. He is more realistic than his host and can be patient, though he's more hot-headed than not. He also finds most jokes annoying. He's only a bit of a closet pervert.

A katana that Akio dubs Ken no Kasai (Blade of Fire) which bursts into flame when unsheathed around those with evil intent. He also carries a couple knives with him for ranged combat when stealth is needed.

Fire Manipulation: Like everyone else in his clan and because of being the host of the God of Fire, Akio can control fire, changing its color from orange to blue, though this takes a lot of energy. He can mold it into almost anything and shoot it a distance.

Fire Immunity: Because he's the host of the God of Fire, Akio is immune to fire to an extent. He can be burned but it would take a lot to do that.

Illusion: Akio knows how to create illusions, though this is usually limited to disguising himself or other people and things.

Agility: Akio is very agile in combat, often moving dynamically in combat, though he is taught to not exhaust himself, which is one of his problems. He is able to increase his speed through magic.

Akio doesn't remember anything about his parents. All of his life, he has been raised and trained by the Sage in the Hojori clan. He has believed he was part of the clan until he found that he could manipulate fire. It was then that the Sage told Akio that he was part of the Pyro clan. When he asked why, the Sage was evasive. Eventually, when the God of Fire introduced himself in Akio's mind, the Sage was forced to tell him everything and speed up his training. Now he wonders about what he has to do to defeat the Ruler of Darkness.

Sato is a bit of a dark horse, never revealing too much about himself to others. Most of the time he has the appearance and personality of a rugged traveller with a tale or two to tell. Someone who's going to tell you as much about themselves as you're willing to tell about yourself, though if Sato considers someone a possible threat just about everything he says is lies. Sato believes in few things, good and evil not included. He believes in death, a cleansing of the soul from the body, and that in this world there are those who need to die and those need to kill them.
He does, however, have a thing for aiding women in trouble. Not for any sort of reward but because, far from his own knowledge, he does have a small part of him that is genericaly good.

Twin blades - Baat Jaam Do (butterfly swords), these are Sato's main weapons. The blades have magical properties which Sato himself imbued them with, they're extremely hardy and resistant to most anything including intense heat.
Sato also carries a katana across his back and several daggers within the folds of his cloak.
~Abilities~
He has the ability to create and manipulate a sort of dark aura. It acts as a telekinesis, though it has many other uses, like becoming an extension of a sword or being a shield. Use your imagination

Sato has mastered stealth for when he needs to get close to his targets, not only the ability to be physically silent/hidden, but also is able to magically meld in with his surroundings when cover is unavailable.

He is weak at most types of magic, instead giving his efforts to the mastery of close-combat.
~History~
Sato originates from the Hojori Clan. He grew up surrounded by people who were what you would consider pure of heart. Constantly he was told of the battle between 'good' and 'evil' and how it was everyones duty to thwart those with sinister intentions. For 12 years Sato absorbed every last word of it, that was until the day his father was reported to be killed on the battle field, fighting for what was right, what was 'good'. If that wasn't enough Sato's mother soon spiralled down into a deep state of depression and one late dreary night, took her own life.
From that day on Sato lost hope in everything. He was moved to an orphanage where he was soon adopted by a travelling stranger. Over the years he became an apprentice to his bounty-hunting adoptee, using his own unique abilities to excel. At the age of 21 Sato parted ways with him to make a life/career for himself. His adopter has become one of the very few people he truly cares about.

As a child he found his spell book in a dark cave. Every day he read the book then as a teen (like 90 to 100 years old) he begain to use the spells. Ryu saw nothing wrong in this power but the rest of his town did and he was kicked from his home and told never to return.
From then on he lived alone moving from place to place and slowly raising his undead army to protect him from angry villages. He now lives in a ruined castle with his undead he is trying to make a village and become accepted by everyone by showing undead can act human

Equipment: He Carries Two large swords on his waist. They are refered to as the twin blades. They are mirror images of eachother (the look like Genesis' sword from FFVII crisis core).
Abilities: Skilled in hand to hand combat and the art of fire manipulation. He surpasses most of the pyro clan's abilities. He can fuse his fire into his attacks and Weapons. He developed a technique called the white flame which is so hot it can burn off limbs instantly with a single touch.

[Magix]

History: The former leader of the Pyro Clan and Kiyomi. He left at the age of 16 when his training was complete. The power wasn't enough for him so he gave up leadership to find more power. He became one of the most powerful members to emerge from the pyro clan. The Ultimate ruler found him and infused him with darkness advancing his strength and amplifying his cruel tendencys. He now serves the ultimate ruler as her first in command.
