The School of Suns and Stars
In Character

Johnathan Gray (The only existing human/vampire hybrid), had developed a school to shelter the vampires from the world of the humans, who he believed would not accept them. It was their sanctuary, their home, where they belonged. They learned like normal students would, but they were able to act as vampires without being tormented by rules of the humans. However, recently Johnathan discovered several humans with new and unstable abilities, and was forced to bring them to the school. Because humans were now at the school, the vampires were forced to stop with their normal routines, stop with their normal drinking habbits, and were forced to act a bit more timid around the unstable humans. Some of the humans, do not even know why they are here, and are just learning about these so called vampires. What will become of these two species, and will they cope together? Meanwhile, whatever happened to the humans outside of the school, seems to have taken over some of the less friendly vampires, causing them to go onto rampages and attack innocent bystanders. Can the school shelter them from this? If so, how long?

Dorms
Dorms are seperated by species, due to the fact that some vampires are still coping with the no blood rule. The dorms are on opposite sides of the school. They call them the Sun and the Star dorms. Sun is for the humans, and stars for the vampires.

Moon Dorms
The Moon dorm is a large building to the left side of the school. It is almost bigger than the school itself, with the look of a victorian mansion. It is white in color on the outside with double doors. When you first walk in the inside is a very fancy meeting/lounging area. It appears very upscale and one that did not live there would be scared to use the area in case they should accidentally mess it up. There is a crystal chandelier which makes for beautiful reflections around the whole room. There are two stair cases which curve inward to the second floor; that is visible from the first floor. One is on the left, and one is on the right. There is a somewhat large what one would call balcony area that one could look down on the first floor on. To the left and right there are dorm areas. The rooms are very large in size with two people to a room. And it is sorted by gender. Each room has its own master bathroom.

Sun Dorms
Sadly, the humans do not get the same luxury as the vampires, due to they were not expected to arrive in the first place. Sun dorm is on the right side of the school, and is vastly smaller than the Moon dorm. There is a small lounging area which then leads to the right, where the dorms are. There are three to a dorm, not sorted by gender, as there are very few dorm rooms to begin with, and two bathrooms on the whole dorm. Though it is very roomy and comfortable as well as clean, the rooms are noticibly smaller.

Vampires
Unlike storys about vampires, these vampires bleed just like humans, their heart beats just like humans, and they are not invincible, however have enhanced senses and strength. They drink blood on a normal basis, although the school has been pushing tablets in place of blood, so most vampires have stopped this habbit, but they also eat normal foods. They are not sensitive to sunlight, they just prefer the night. Unlike humans, the vampires have better control over their powers. It is rumored that vampires can communicate their emotions when drinking another's blood, that it is the equivalent of making love.

Pureblood Vampires
Stronger, and hard to come by. In complete control of their abilities. Unlike normal vampires, pureblood vampires are the only vampires that can change humans to vampires. They are often looked up to and their names are always known. They can seem more intense than the other vampires and often have stronger abilities.

Humans
Humans are that of the norm, except recently, some humans have developed some unstable powers, due to the fact they are not strong enough to control them. Not all humans have gained powers however. Nothing special about the humans, some do not even know their powers exist.

Students have less classes then the norm for high school, however they are more advanced, there is:

These are the order of the classes, and everyone attends. However, for the humans, there is an extra, yet optional class at night.

Powers, combat, and emotions.

This class teaches them about their powers, how to use them, how to control them, and how their emotions play a big part in them. It takes place at night in the PE gym, but it is voluntary.

Clubs
Each club meeting takes place on a different day, and is not mandatory to attened. Club sign ups are at lunch on the first day of school.

Abilities: Parts of Ashi's dreams/nightmares, have a tendency to become reality (more frequently her nightmares), however, she doesn't know this is her doing (I encourage people to take advantage of this ability), when singing, Ashi is able to take pain away from others; although the wounds remain (with happy songs), harm others mentally; they feel pain but it doesn't leave a mark (with sad songs), or create a mood of love and lust (with love songs); those who have some sort of relationship with her feel this even stronger, and can be driven to the point of ecstacy.) Ashi has the power of invisibility, which is stable for the most part, and is the only power she is aware of, but it becomes unstable when her emotions overwhelm her.

Personality: Ashi is a very loving person, and trys to be fair to everyone. She is friendly and sometimes bubbly, but unbelievably clumbsy. Ashi is a hopeless romantic, and come be shy around guys she likes. She is rugged, but her clumbsyness overwhelms her ruggedness, and is often very stubborn. Ashi has a beautiful voice and loves to sing, but often gets strange reactions from people.
Biography: Ashi does not remember anything before the time she gained her powers, she made up her own name and guessed her age to be somewhere between 18-20, so she calls herself 19. Ashi was found asleep surrounded by blood and taken to the school by Johnathan. That's all that consists of her memory.

Abilities: Shifting through solid objects. Note;; Think Shadow Cat from X-Men

Ability instabilities: Incredibly unstable for obvious reasons. The power requires shifting every particle and atom in your body through the particles and atoms of others eg. walls, doors, etc. Easy to loose things such as limbs, organs, etc. Too risky for Frankie to be able to use it, actually, though it would one day be possible.

Personality: On the surface, Frankie is cool, collected and slightly aloof towards others. She is infamous for her short temper and her sharp tongue nd has been known to eve lash out at other students (mostly boys) but if you heard her side of the story and knew the kind of people she hits, you would proably understand and perhaps even support her on her side of the arguement. Despite this, Frankie is really kind and considerate once you break the hard surface of her cautious front and get past the Ice Queen. Around guys (and occasionally girls) she likes, Frankie is really shy and tends to withdraw within herself or bite their head off.

Biography: Frankie grew up as a typical tomboy and went through a smooth, calm childhood until her mother passed away from heart cancer when she was 12. At this time, Frankie went through slight depression, which eventually escalted to anger and she often got into fights with kids at school. Her father got her into kick boxing and karate lessons to learn to respect others and how to defend herself for when she was older. Frankie gave up both as a black belt at 15, when she also hit puberty, grew into a young lady and started to experience her odd powers.

At first it was just odd things; brushing past a door but not feeling it, when in fact she had gone straight through it with her shoulder; reaching for a magazine or the TV remote and having her hand pass right through the chosen object and the table beneath it. Frankie had no control over this and eventually she told her father. She was requested for The School of Suns and Stars, she passed the entrance exam with an average score and has been a student since the start of her high school life.

Due to the lack of lessons that hone in on the human everyday skills of the ordinary world, Frankie is a weekend apprentice at the local haridressers. (Hopefully the school is near some village or something, or perhaps the school has one and Frankie is learning from her.)

Abilities: Due to troubles in his still young vampire life, Morpeth has grown the ability of allowing others to feel the emotions of others, and project his own feelings into others. He finds it a hard thing to control, as his emotions usually end up interfering with those of others, meaning that if there was an argument between him and another – he could end up fuelling his opponent’s anger further and unintentionally causing a fight. Most vampires are aware of it, but Morpeth knows he has to be even more careful around humans – especially with the new no blood rule being laid down.
Personality: Morpeth’s usually the happy-go-lucky kind of guy, which usually surprises most because of him being a vampire and all. Though behind the smiley façade, Morpeth soaks up the world like a sponge, sucking out all the information he can get from people and trying to understand everything. He pretends to know less than he actually does, so people would naturally underestimate him and his abilities.
Morpeth does have his nasty side though; a fuse can only last so long after all. Morpeth’s not a friendly fellow once having been annoyed by one person, especially if it’s a human. Though his little pet ferret can always lighten his mood from the darkest of his emotions, the strange little vampire being unable to resist that cute little face of his pet.
Biography: Morpeth is unsure of his past, his human life and some of his early vampire days. He has never been able to remember what had happened before his time here, his earliest memory being waking up in a rather dimly lit house and being offered what he considered to be his first taste of blood from a pair of rather friendly looking vampires, who looked after him while he was applying for the school of suns and stars. These two were the ones who gave him his little pet ferret, who had managed to survive so long with him – Morpeth had wondered whether the little creature had somehow been changed into a vampire too, this being his most reasonable explanation, though he doubted that this was even possible.
Ever since he has been wandering the halls of the school of suns and stars, where he began to soak up knowledge about the world in hope of regaining some of his lost memory.

I'm liking these profiles, and will start the in character when we get a few more. I edited the information on vampires and also added information on pureblood vampires as well as rules. Just in case you do not know, Sun is for the humans and Stars is for the vampires. They are not assigned a dorm but find one the first day. It will be the human's first day in the school when the RP starts, whereas the vampires have attended before. Later I will allow second characters to be the evil (rampaging) vampires if you so please. I will also let someone be Johnathan.

Abilities: Gravity control(major)-The ability to shift gravity around her to make her "float" and to make gravity pull items more towards the ground so they appear extremely heavy, Pyro(minor)- this only occurs when she is extremely angry. She has the ability to create fire but she hasn't quite learned to control it when hse is angry and she doesn't know yet how to conjure it when she isn't angry, Sleeping(major)- she is able to put people to sleep. She begins to wave her hand in a fluid motion like water and will begin to hum. When the humming begins it enters in through the ear and the sound triggers something in the brain putting someone to sleep.

Personality: Adele has the appearance of a snob. Because she is a pureblood, she will tend to brag about herself but she really doesn't mean to. She can be very caring and understanding to many. She is good at giving advise and being there as a friend when someone needs her. People are surprised by how nice she can be but don't get her angry. Her temper is something one doesn't want to mess with.
Biography: Adele was born a vampire and has been given more control over her powers because of this. Her parents were always moving. She grew up on tablets, or pills that supressed the urge for blood. She began to train with her father in controlling her powers and was homeschooled in other subjects for quite a few years. She was educated in music which she took a great interest in and began to even write her own coompositions.

Adele had her first taste of real blood when she looked about the age of 13. She didn't know where she was going one night when she snuck out. She was never allowed out of the house and they moved so frequently that she wanted to check it out before they moved once more. She followed a trail of thick red liquid down an alleyway and saw a vampire feeding. She was curious and inched closer. The vampire was friendly and offered her a bit. She took it, curiousity still growing more in her. She sipped the liquid before she actually began to drink. The taste was delicious. She returned home only to have her mother read her mind(her mother's power). She was then sent to Johnathan's school.

Abilities: Kevin has always had the ability to use pure light. Doing so has caused some fuss about him being allowed into this school while Vampires are amongst him but at the age of 18 he can somewhat control it. The control factor is only minor however.

He is able to engulf himself in pure light which gives a shinning effect to him; he also has the ability to coat the palm of his hands in pure light as well. The last one that he's used but he's never once done it on a controlling standpoint is release a ball of pure light that will just slightly float around the palm of his hand which can be thrown or in some cases released out from his hand like throwing water at someone. Of course since its extreme amounts of light it will burn anyone, it just burns Vampires more then others.

Ability instabilities: Since he is unable to sustain this power most of the time he can slowly burn away cells and tissue from his body. It does so at a very slow pace as his body has gained some sort of stability towards it, but it will burn them none the less.

Personality: He's a kind person and very outgoing. He wants to get to know everyone; it's like another ability to him. Meaning, people’s personalities are all different just like everyone's ability, it is something apart of them and he finds it interesting to get to know them. He likes to help as well, most of the time it gets to a point where you think he really cares for you but it's just his caring personality and because of this you'll most of the time never know his feelings towards you unless you ask him or he tells you without you asking. The only clue that you can really gain and realize that he really enjoys your company is when he ask if you would like to do something, just the two of you or in a group, whichever would be your choice really but he just would always enjoy having you around.

Biography: Kevin as you can guess has always had a rough childhood. Being able to engulf yourself in light but not being able to control it would get you the name of freak or weirdo. Take your pick, most likely, Keven has been called it. He disliked it because he was being judged when these kids didn't even know him and most of the time he would only ever get to enjoy friendship with his mother. His father was working and never really had time for Kevin, beyond that his father in secret always thought he was a freak as well. It's why he is in this school to begin with, his father convinced his mother to have Kevin enroll and his father wanted him to enroll so he can hopefully control this ability of his. Not for Kevin's sake, just so Kevin would never use it again and his father could consider him a normal son. Of course, Kevin's father would never admit it, even on his death bed.

Abilities: Can Control The Smoke that is made by Candles, Fire, Or anything, to make Illusions or what not. Can excrete a Poison like liquid from his saliva or blood that can make someone dazed, vulnerable and immobile like drugs. Gets dark surreal thoughts that he can inflict on others.
Ability instabilities: For the controlling smoke, it isn't as effective but he can bend the way it looks and density, making him able to create a human out of smoke if he has enough smoke, but attacks might not be effective or might have little pain. The excretion, he must put his blood or saliva inside someone for it to work, then it acts as a fast moving bacteria that attacks the nerves and mind, making it almost hard to speak, move, or anything of that matter, but along with this he must find a way to get it inside of them. The dark thoughts are more like a defense thing if he is able to focus hard enough on someone while having this outbreak he is able to manipulate their thoughts and mind into his thought process, sending both of them into a nightmarish world, where he is more in control, but he doesn't know how to control this gift or create effective thoughts...Also is linked to his emotions, if he doesn't like you then he without knowing it will think of the most darkest thing happening to you and send you there mentally in his mind, while you are there it adds little pain but has no effect on you in the outer world.
Personality: doesn't talk that much to humans or vampires, Hard to get through too. But once you get through all the layers of secrets he soon opens up to you and you can see him for who he really is. Kind and gentle, unless he finds you inappropriate, then his abilities might interfere with him and his state of mind and he might seem a little dark and rude, but this is only if he truly hates you.
Biography: Never really has had a happy life. His parents were on drugs bad when they where having him and even when he was born. He lived in the ghettos living to stay alive trying not to be left out after dark, not only because it was unsafe in general but because him himself didnt look like the other Kids, nor acted like them. Growing up for him was hard, he had no friend or anyone to depend on because his parents where caught by the police when he was 11 then he had to start to live with his neighbor who was a nice old lady and she helped him with all sorts of things. She would have candles all over the house, this is when he started too develop his powers, he was able to make a replica of her dog(Sam), which amazed her, but the dog disappeared within seconds. He found out his excretion powers with his first boyfriend, when they first kissed, he was nervous because it was the first person he opened up to. But instead of continuing, he put his boyfriend in a coma, which pissed him off and made him sad, then he started thinking of suicide, failing it made him go to dark places. Soon he was able to make other people fill his pain.

Tan, pale brown skin, but has a Carmel glow. His facial features are young, elegant, knave and bold, he could easily be mistaken for a twenty-three year old or a thirteen year old, for he has no facial hair, his face is soft and clean, without any blemishes, cuts, or marks . He is tall for his age, and he is very skinny, he has only a little muscle, and looks like he barely eats, but manages a six pack that barley shows. His hair is long, soft and though its thin there is enough on his head to look as if his hair was thick, it ends to the bottom of his neck, and then it layers up in big incision to were it reaches eye level, laying on his eyes. His eyes show innocents to all that gets close enough to him to actually see them, They are round, and he has naturally long curled eyelashes, The most particular thing about his eyes is that they are a odd color. His eye color is like glassy threads of yellow, Harlequin (light) green, dodger blue, and silver, with a barrier of teal. His teeth are pearly white, that hides behind thin but full lips, that don't look chapped what so ever. He has a lip piercing on the right side of his bottom lip, and his earlobes are pierced on both sides, including one cartilage piercing on his right ear, that can be seen though his thin hair. He only has one tattoo, and that is the one of a blue rose that petals look to be falling off, which is located on his upper thigh, southwest from his navel.

Alex is a quiet and distant person who doesn't socialize frequently. With little if not no close friends, he believes he is the only one who understands himself. He may grow close to some people, but not too close. He is dependant on the other person to nurture their relationship and will not speak unless he is spoken to. He may enjoy someone's company, but will create time for himself from time to time. If befriended, Alex is a kind and thoughtful person. He is pretty smart and is a quick thinker. Alex is almost fearless and will stand up to anything he thinks is worth the time and effort.
Biography;
Alex was born on a cold winter's night unto two happy parents. Once conceived, He was named after Alex, his deceased godfather. Shortly afterwards, they were ambushed by a vampire and it's mate, Alex being the sole survivor of the whole ordeal. He was left bawling in the house before a human came upon hearing the cries. He was brought up in a small village and lived a peaceful life. However, once he was 15, his vampire instincts were awakened and killed a small girl because of his thirst for blood. When he regained his normal self, the whole village wanted to burn him, including his adoptive father. This caused him to go into a state of sorrow and grief, having nothing left to live for. He ran away and hid in a abandoned farmhouse. A few days later, he was found by a vampire, Snow. She decided to help him and taught him everything about being a vampire. Nine years later, they enrolled into a school made for vampires.

Power Theft - The ability to steal someone else's powers through physical contact for a short amount of time. In Snow's case, the powers will be stolen for a few hours before returning to its owner. She cannot use this very often as it drains a lot of her strength.
Personality;
Snow is a soft-spoken person but is very kind and thoughtful. She hates being alone, so she always has at least one person with her. With so much patience, no one has ever seen her lose her temper. She believes that no matter how bad an error is, it must have a solution or something to learn from it. She stands for anything she believes in and is very persistent and persuasive. However, she does have one imperfection. Procrastination. Despite this, she will do whatever she has to do and have it done before a deadline. If there is no deadline, she will make one for herself.
Biography;
Snow's parents were good parents; as good a parent two vampires could be. They were very much in love with each other and brought her up well. She was taught everything to know about vampires and often honed her vampire skills. Once she turned 16, they left her to fend for herself and Snow became a wandering vampire and after twenty long years, found Alex in an abandoned farmhouse and treated him like a brother, since she was an only child and sometimes yearned for a younger sibling. Nine years later, they enrolled into a school made for vampires.
