Wikipedia info
This is simple for me to explain. Lehigh University (despite its name is a college), is starting a new year. All the fraternities and sororities are taking new pledges. Everyone now must choose who they wish to house with for the rest of the year, and must prove themselves to that sorority or fraternity. Some of the houses are easy and let you in instantly, whereas some require you to go through rituals and type of initiations. For those who do some people will go through hell for the next week just to get a good house to their name. But it may be worth it in the end. Right?
Its about the partys, the reputation, maybe even the good name one gets.
Or is it about the friends you make along the way?
Everyone knows that soon after pledges are accepted, there is Winter Formal and Greek Week.
So they have to be housed somewhere.
And maybe theyll get to go to parties in between.
Sororities
ALPHA CHI OMEGA: The close knit loving diverse all american girl types.
Alpha Chi was colonized at Lehigh, February 11, 1989. Since then we have developed great pride in our chapter and a strong sense of sisterhood. As a group of diverse individuals, we are involved in many aspects of University life including academic honor societies, tutoring, drama, varsity athletics, intramural sports, Brown and White, and Panhel, just to name a few. Socially, we keep busy with our Winter and Spring Formals, Date parties, Crush parties, barbecues, and Greek Week. Most importantly, however, is the common bond that we share through Alpha Chi Omega. This bond is strengthened by love, loyalty, and most of all, by friendship.
PI BETA PHI: The high acheivers, the geeks, the smart ones.
Since Pi Beta Phi's colonization in 1997, it has firmly established itself as a very successful chapter at Lehigh. The strong bonds of friendship are the foundation of Pi Beta Phi. The sisters have grown together while building the traditions for their chapter. The experiences are unforgettable and the friendships are forever. Each member is involved in activities, both on the campus and within the community. Developing leadership skills, relevant programming, academic achievements and philanthropic activities provide for a well-rounded chapter life. Pi Phi is excited to have the experience of living together within the Greek community. Pi Phi's campus home is in Emery in Upper Centennial.
ALPHA PHI: The campus knows them as models, barbies, bitches etc. Often ranked the best, loved by the guys.
Alpha Phi has established many firsts at Lehigh: First sorority colonized on campus and the first sorority to have its own permanent house on the hill. We take great pride in these achievements, as well as in our chapter and a strong sense of sisterhood.
Our chapter holds about 42 sisters and has a tremendous amount of common space which includes a kitchen, dining room, living room/chapter room, computer/copier room, laundry/vending/storage room (SMG Plus capabilities), and a recreation room with pool table and TV area. All bedroom furniture is moveable and most rooms are singles or doubles with a few triples. The house has its won parking lot and University transportation stops almost in front of the house. Our dining program is flexible and includes dinner 5 nights a week in the house and money on South Mountain Gold which can be used in all food operations on the main campus. Janitorial and maintenance services are provided by the University. Our house has the card access security system and is located at the top of Upper Sayre Park Road in a scenic setting. The objects of our Sorority are the promotion of growth in character, unity of feeling, sisterly affection, and social communion among our members. Living at Alpha Phi is an opportunity to build strong friendships, have some fun, and make memories which will last a lifetime.
Fraternities
CHI PSI: Known as the partyers, routy and out of control. They often have the craziest parties...
The brotherhood of Chi Psi, affectionately known by common hill-goers as "the lodge" can be thought of as a house that is rich in tradition and full of a competitive spirit that many deem to be the hub of collegiate life. The brotherhood itself is a diverse crowd which boasts athletes, scholars, and collective leaders alike. To live amongst Chi Psi is to develop along side those with high expectations and gentlemanly qualities. The end result is an abundance of good times and friendships that last a lifetime.
ALPHA TAU OMEGA: Nothing special, nothing bad. You can find people of all types. Never seem to have partys though.
ATO at Lehigh is a place to celebrate great times with lifelong friends. Between the hourly exams, intense intramural games, and weekend tailgates the Brothers of Alpha Tau Omega enjoy four years of growth and maturation. Living at ATO provides an environment full with pride, support, and responsibility.
DELTA CHI: The other guys. The loners, the geeks, those who are different, picked on. They end up here.

Rules
I encourage romance and violence along with misceviousness and maybe cruelty from specific sororities and fraternities. And I allow swearing to an extent.
Max characters is two.
All fraternities and sororities have a pledge/initiation type thing. I want the leaders to create their own ritual, though don't tell anyone what it is till it comes out in the RP. Please read your house information to help with what it may be like, be creative. However, DELTA CHI, has no ritual or initiation.
This is semi literate to literate, so 2 paragraphs or more.
I must accept you as a leader, if you want to be one, so when you apply, make a good profile.
CHI PSI and ALPHA PHI are the party fraternity and sorority at the school. Let this show in the RP.
You may not make it into the house of your choice, i do encourage rejections. The house leader may not think you good enough.
