This is the auto-generated OOC topic for the roleplay "Wannabes"

Before We say anything else, We want to post up an expanded summary of the six main plot-lines.

The Wannabes-
The first government sponsored team of super powered individuals. Being started from the ground up with mostly fresh recruits, some transferring in from general Power Licensing classes, or even from High School. You'll spend time training, learning, relaxing at home base, and being shipped off to anywhere in the united states that your assistance will be required. Become one of the next great Heroes!

I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire-
A young woman approaches you, offering power, revenge, a new world, anything you might want. All you have to do is work with her to gather several artifacts that together will change the world. Come! Together we'll set the world on fire!

These Vampires Are Different.-
Vampires have been living a comfortable, secretive, lifestyle for the last two centuries. They keep themselves off the map and enjoy their unlife. Recently though, something has appeared that is very, very similar to a vampire, but different in ways that threaten to destroy the world the vampires know and love. They must be stopped!

School of Hard Knocks-
There is a private high school in New York state where you can get one of the best educations in the country. You can also learn how to flash bake a corn-dog with those flames that shoot out of your hands. Though it is one of the best, through various grants, scholarships, and government aid, students from all walks of life attend. Other than that it's a normal high school; dating, rivalries, homework, sports, clubs, bullies, conspiracies to enslave or kill the students, tha- WAIT! What was that last one!?

Badfellas-
Just because there are supervillains doesn't mean there isn't organized crime. Maybe you have powers, maybe you don't. Maybe you're a hero, maybe you're not. Either way though, you've got one goal in mind: The Top!

The Vanguards-
Your country thanks you for volunteering. You will be wearing the most advanced armor ever worn by the American Military. It will increase your speed and strength, but it will by no means make you invulnerable. Our performance tests will decide if this armor becomes standard issue. Our job is to be the first in, and last out. Now lets move!

Now that that's out of the way, We'd like to say the following:

Welcome to the game! We have a massive world of you to explore and expand upon and can't wait to see what you bring to the table.

This thread is for general discussion among the players as well and questions, concerns, and discussions regarding the game itself.

Alright, so here's the deal.
We can't send PMs yet. We have to make...six more posts before we pass the "are you a spam bot?" test. So while We'd prefer to do this through PMs, we can't. So, here's hoping you're all paying attention.

In order of application:

Neko-warriorBlades- All you submitted was a name and a picture. -_-; We're going to need more than that.

A.C.- We see potential in your character, however it is currently unacceptable. The issues are as follows

Weight: You're character is either a fat ass, or ridiculously dense. At 25% power, they already weigh roughly the same as, if not more than, The Incredible Hulk. At 75% power you weigh more than a ton, and at 100% nearly 3. We aren't structural engineers, but we're pretty sure this would cause you to break through the concrete and fall through both subway and sewer systems before embedding yourself in bedrock. We recommend reducing your maximum weight to 1ton.

Durability: This is too damn high. Topping out at 6 is acceptable but we'd prefer it to be a 5.

Fighting ability: This is a little vague, but when it says "All forms of combat" it means ALL forms of combat. Hand-to-hand, melee weapons, ranged weapons, etc. Characters like Deapool, The Punisher, Elektra, and maybe even Batman would have this rating. You're character is a 14-year old with no mention of any training whatsoever. This will have to come down to 4.

Just to put this in perspective, your point totals are thus:
N-20.2
25%-21.9
50%-24.6
75%-26.3
100%-29
The recommended point total is 20.

This part is not a requirement, but a little more detail on your power percentages and energy projection would be appreciated. Such as, how exactly does she increase or decrease power? What sort of transformation does she undergo at these stages? What kind of energy is being projected?

Also, according your age and the time frame given in your profile, she was attacked at either age 6 or 8. If that's what you intended, fine, however, We have a feeling you didn't.

Oh, and The Wannabes is an all volunteer outfit, nobody would be there unwillingly.

Izanagi- Your character is actually fine and We're going to approve him as soon We're finished here. Just a couple things We wanted to bring up.
First, we think your character seems more like someone from Shaman King and therefore more of a Normal(Magic) type character.
Second...uh...you blow fire at people. That's worth at least a 3 in energy projection.
And finally... You took the "Plot Preference" section a little too literally. XD Based on your comment in the Players Wanted thread, though, we'll put you down for School of Hard Knocks. We're guessing this is the boarding school you mentioned in your history? Anyway, We think you'll like what We have in mind.

I hope this starts rolling with posts from all that have been accepted soon enough. I'll try and get a post up tonight for my character when I get home from class. If it's not up tonight, more than likely tomorrow sometime for sure.

Quick question: Do you have a pre-determined name for the institute the mutants are learning at? I figure if you provide us with one it can just help with continuity purposes. Any teachers and what not I suppose is up to the Roleplayer's discretion to create and control for NPC purposes?

Why? Why is Zen Zexion?! The shadow manipulation power doesn't help at all. You could have at least found Zexion fanart so that it looked less like the character and a tad more original...
I'm sorry if I offend. Things like this bother me unless the character bio is completely different from that of the character in the image used. But he is your character...

Lol Zen was always Zexion.It was just the look that most closely fit how I pictured him. I'll see if I can find a fanart pic of him to make you like it better.

I'm a little busy today, but I'll be working on a post at sometime tonight. The profiles look great guys and Protoman and Magix, I look forward to seeing how you play your characters, playing a Super Genius isn't easy, and props to Proto for using the 10th Doctor.

The character avatar is definitely better but when I see the other pic, I can't help but think of the doctors from Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood...I much prefer it to the previous pic, though. Don't let me dictate whether you change it again, though. Do whatever you want- so long as Dalmar and Mako don't mind.

Is it just me or are none of the posts so far properly filed under their appropriate Place? Does the system take of this automatically or the Mod's have to categorize the posts? Also, the characters in the post tab doesn't seem to work properly. Or if it does, I haven't figured how to tag my character...which I assumed would've been automatic.

(The Characters in This Post) and (Places in This Post) haven't been implemented yet. Hopefully they'll get it set up and working soon. I'm curious how it's going to work and look forward to seeing it action. The tab system works for the most part and when they get everything working it looks like it'll be pretty cool.

With that said, we would like to apologize for the delay. It's been an unfortunately rough couple of weeks for us, both health wise and in general. Hopefully this rough patch is over and things will move smoothly from here on out. Well, at least smoother than it has been.

Oh, and we're usually against this, but feel free to encourage your friends to join, just don't pressure anyone. We don't want anyone joining unless they WANT to play. We sure could use some more people though.
