well, it is possible for her to get killed, but for that to happen you have to side with Butch on the "Trouble on the Homefront" quest and sabotage the Vault. If you do that there is a random even where you find amata under attack by enclave troops, though it is possible to save her, but she still hates you for sabotaging the vault.

Shoulda been more specific XD Yeah I ment the trouble on the homefront, first time i released them all, then when i went to save amata almost got my ass kicked, luckily I run into a group of brotherhood outcasts who saved me.

Eugh I hate the outcasts. Only reason I don't kill them every time I see them is cause it'd lose Karma.
Btw! If you get to level 30, use the Gauss Rifle and put difficulty to very hard. It's great for hunting Death Claws! They're dead easy to kill now. albino scorps are the only thing I actually have a problem with these days. But then, I just get out Fisto! and use paralyzing palm. thehehhhehehheehehe

You should try a martial artist character. They're lots of fun and can tank everything. I'm not kidding. MY lv 19 [or 20] took on a behemoth.
I mean deathclaws are no problem with melee, and enclave go down in 1 hit with the Deathclaw gauntlet because it IGNORES armour stats. ^_^ Seriously though, my MA character has died about 3 times in the journey to lv30, all three of which happened around lv 29. %_%

Heh, I my self prefer a strait up firefight, man, just wading right into a fight, brandishing the "Vengence" gatling laser, it's a real hoot when you have Fawks at you back you both are just mowing down enemy after enemy. Ah, good times, good times.

I prefer to snipe them with the Gauss rifle and then move in and disintegrate them with the Atomizer

The Gauss rifle is my favorite long-range weapon, specialy since it knocks enemies on their back, but probably the only weapon I've never really used but wanted to was the M.I.R.V. Fatman. Eight warheads at once, that's what I call fireworks.

The M.I.R.V. is...god. I love it. =D Especially in that big raider camp near the garage where the vault is where your father is trapped. It is the ultimate weapon.

Okay, good to hear. Now I want this Rp up in the "Best Threads" list, so everyone do your best to make that happen. Fallout will earn it's rightfull place as one of the greates rps of all time.

Now, I straight up go Tesla Cannon with Dogmeat and Fawkes mowing down anything in their path, I electrify 'em, Dogmeat jumps 'em, Fawkes hits them in the head with a Super Sledge, fun times, fun times.

Ahhh, my fondest memory of fallout 3, when a vertibird was about to drop off a load of enclave soldiers and I shot it ouf of the sky with a fat boy, it rained body parts and debris everywhere. T'was a beautiful sight XD I did think the tesla cannon was a good aoe weapon but it was made to take down those evil robos.

Well, I rember one time, I was running towards Canterbury Commons, and I realized I was being followed by over 5 Deathclaws from somewhere I ran by. (Really, I didn't like Fast-Travel) Well, Fawkes and Dogmeat killed them, while I was running backwards constantly shooting with Lincolns Repeater.

Lincoln's Repeater, now there is a weapon. Man that is probably the only small gun that my two 20+ lv characters carry. One of the most accurate weapons in the game.
