MorningStar finally landed, and dragged the doe over to the fresh-kill pile. The warriors and apprentices were all out training, and the elders basked in the sun. Slowly she walked over to the Queens' den, wings folded. She came upon a yellow-furred queen, with four pups scrambling all around her. "You wanted to see me, GoldenWolf?" she asked. "MorningStar" GoldenWolf began, "I believe that my pups are 6 moons old today, and I was wondering if I could train one of them when I go back to my duties." MorningStar nodded. "Anyone you have in mind for the others?" she inquired. "Well..." GoldenWolf hesitated. "Some of the new warriors don't have an apprentice, is it okay with you if the other three go to them?" MorningStar nodded, surprised at the request. GoldenWolf usually toook much longer to decide who her pups would go to. "Which ones?" she inquired. "LightHeart, StormClaw, and..." she hesitated; "Is it okay if you take the Brown one?" MorningStar was startled. She and GoldenWolf had been friends since puphood; but they had been growing farther and farther apart. "Of- Of course." she said, stammering a little. GoldenWolf smiled. "Thank-you" they both said at once. MorningStar nodded her goodbye, and walked back out.

Early morning, Duke had not long awoken and was joined on the hunt by his eldest son, Blaze, known for his gleaming red coat. As they weaved in and out avoiding the thin trees in the forest, Duke picked up the scent of a large Doe. Once the Doe came into sight, they realised it had just been caught by a timid young wolf. They didn't hesitate to strip this lonely wolf of his kill and tore apart every inch of the carcas. Leaving just scraps for the young wolf to feed on.
Satisfied, the two large males returned home to find everything how it should be. This is the life!

strongfang walked out of his den. the bright sun slightly reflected of his fur. his eys sweped his home . he saw the pups playing having fun. he saw the earth clans mighty worriors training hard . he looked to the circle of the elders were they sat and talked about days past. he looked to teh young wolves while they learned the ways of the pack and saw that some hunters had brought a big elk to the village. strongfang loved his home and all his family and friends who lived there. he walked to were the elders sat to talk about the day. "oh strong fang we were waiting for you ." said a elder named mooneyes. "yes it has been three moons since you came down to talk to us." said a female elder named fyre. "i apoligize i have been busy of the late trying to make sure the clan is happy since the death of my father." said strongfang. "oh yes we will miss goldfang." said mooneyes. "now then since you are here we have business of the late," "whats going on?" asked strongfang."there seems to be a clan of wolves who live by us i think we should introduce ourselves." said fyre. "perhaps" said strong fang. "there is also the fact that you are now old enough to mate have you found a denmate yet?" asked mooneyes. strongfang looked at the opder female. "no i have not." he said flately. "no matter we will send a messenger out to the clan and see if they want to have a meeting of the tribes." he said in a dissmisive tone. most of the elders walked away except for fyre. "young one we must talk." she said to strongfang. "what is it birthgiver?' he asked. "ytou are the last of the line of true leaders." she said."and you need to find a mate so we can continue or lagecy." "that is no concern of yours birthgiver now i have to get ready." he said walking away. "young one i worry about you ever since your father died you seemed down and not yourself." said fyre. "dont worry now excuse me." he said as he walked back to his den

Aerofang jumped from his perch and swooped down on a Full Grown Deer killing it instantly with his claws,he fed on it and brought whatever was left to the clan.The elders confronted him, and told him he should go to the other clans to see what kind of diplomatic stance what we were with them becuase no one was really sure of it."Ok" he replied. He didnt mind doing boring political stuff as long as it kept his clan safe."We didnt need any more wars.I think we should declare neutrality due to the fact were in the middle of the clans and was often a battle ground for other clans.Our clan often also got slautghered on accident due to the battles."The elders agreed and he set off in his journey.

Duke picked up the scent of a nearby male wandering near his territory. He rallied all the troops, everyone but the new mothers. They set out determined to find this intruder and could sense they were close. Blaze went ahead of the group, determined to prove his worth to his ruthless father. He had no fear, well why should he, given his massive frame. He took after his father by becoming very large.
Duke knew what Blaze was doing, so let him go ahead, secretly knowing what Blaze was capable of. If Blaze found the intruder, then there would be no question about the outcome, he would come back as proud as his father.
