"Hey, uh...wha's yer face." Jakota tugged the man's sleave. "Any way we can get some real food in here? My friend isn't feeling so hot."
"Meals are on a schedualed basis. The next one isn't for two hours."
Jakota rolled his eyes. 'look, man. You can eather get us some food or i'll go steal some myself. Eather way, i'm getting something for her to eat."
The man considered this for a moment then nodded and stepped though the doorway.

she hugged the girl, then reached into her pocket. She had one of those pizza bun things they sold in convenience stores for a dollar. It wasn't much, but it was healthy, andd would help her stomach until Jakota came back. She opened it and held it out to her friend. "Eat this for now. That guy might take awhile."

"thanks" She said, taking it and tearing it into two, handing the larger half back before taking a bite of the smaller chunk.

Ria took the piece back and waited. When Aroura finished the first piece she put the second in her hand. She was small and didn't eat much anyway. She was also used to scanty meals.

Aroura shook her head. "you have it."

Jakota exited the room and followed the man down the hall towards the caffeteria. Along the way, he memorized windows and door locks. What could and couldn't be picked or broken. So many loopholes so little time...

the groupleader came back in the room. he saw pyro and walked over to him.
"what happened youngster, tell me everything" pyro said nothing "you can trust me i will help you, i can stay with you till you feel better" that hit a nerve. pyro shot up
"WHY CANT PEOPLE LEAVE ME ALONE! WHEN I GO TO THE BACK OF THEE ROOM AND DONT TALK TO ANYONE THAT MEANS I WANNA BE LEFT ALONE!" the group leader took a step back " ALL PEOPLE WHO TRY TO HELP ME DONT HELP WORTH SHIT THEY MAKE IT WORSE! I DONT NEED SOME ADULT, no, ANY adult in my life TRYING to help! i dont need adults at all!!!" the group leader was stunned. pyro was glaring at the mad fists clenched. the room was silent. the group leader backed away and pyro started running out the door.

"Pyro!" Rhia ran after him. "Wait!"

"what do you want you wanna 'help' me ok try you wont"

"I don't know what you've been through, Pyro. I don't know what to say to you or how to console you. I just thought . . . well . .I thought maybe you'd wanna be my friend." She stood there looking at him helplessly. "That's all."

pyro staired at Rhia in disbelief. he wasnt used to people reaching out to him like this. well people did but not sencerly they normally where just kidding or ended up hurting him.But she seemed different her voice was sencere, and she didnt have one of those smirk/smiles on maby he could trust her.

pyro started subconsisly rubbing his arm where his scar was.

maby i should take the chance, trust her. i may end up getting hurt again but what the hell ive been hut so many times i should be used to it, it shouldnt mater.
