Stefan had a smile playing on his lips. He was sitting on a red cushioned couch with a glass of red wine. His second favorite drink. The castle was dark, save for the candles that flickered in the shadows. In the dinning hall, pages were busteling about preparing a feast for the silly little humans that were going to be welcomed into the castle. Stefan couldn't wait to see the fresh little things. He hadn't had good entertainment for a while now. The highlight of his nights were either being with his so called wife and scaring away the gypsies that tried to clense the grounds. He remembered a time when he was one of them. Throught his time in Vlad's castle, he hadn't changed a thing. He had cleaned up the blood and webs, but everything else he left untouched.

He had always been superstitious, and even more so since now he was a strigoi, walking dead. He didn't want any of the poor souls trapped in the castle to start bother him like the living. He hadn't even brought anything new into the castle. The bones and bodies of the dead remained in their dungeon and chained to the walls. The loose boards of those few who tried to renovate the castle remained and and so did their bodies. The humans would have quite a thing to behold the skeletons and see first hand the rich history he had come from. He glanced out the window and saw the sun had gone down and the moon was rising to its zenith. The humans would arrive soon. He took a sip of his drink and waited.
What is immortality if not but a curse of the flesh? True immortality is not living forever, but leaving something behind to be remembered.

Camelia let out a sigh of boredom as she sat in her room reading a rather boring book. With her legs tucked underneath her slender frame, Camelia ran a hand through her raven hair as she set the book down on the small nightstand beside the bed. Slowly standing up then and walking over to the huge glass doors that led out into a balcony, Camelia pushed open the glass doors and closed her eyes as a cool breeze entered the room. Although she couldn't feel the breeze against her flesh, Camelia smiled anyway as she tried to imagine how it felt to have the wind caressing her cheek like an intimate lover. After a few minutes of just standing there enjoying the cool night air, Camelia closed the doors then and decided to make her way downstairs and see what her "husband" was up to.

Slowly emerging from her room, Camelia closed the door silently and walking down the stairs of the ancient castle, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of the humans that would soon be coming. Just the thought of human blood made Camelia lick her lips in anticipation. Walking into the room where Stefan was, Camelia couldn't help but smirk when she saw the glass of red wine in his hand. "You just couldn't wait for the guests of honor to arrive before you brought that out could you?" she teased lightly.

Stefan looked up and after he swallowed, he smiled up at Camelia. "I could not. I was thirsty. Still am really. Red wine does put my edge off, but nothing is like the satisfaction of blood. Which reminds me, will you let me drink tonight? My throat is always open to yours," Stefan gave a fanged smile. His eyes flickered a golden color before taking on their normal blue color. He put his glass down and folded his hands. "I must not get too excited before our guests arrive. They'll bore me if I do. Come. Sit beside me."

Camelia smiled at Stefan's response and rolling her eyes, she shook her head softly. "I swear Stefan if you were still human, you would be a drunk." she teased lightly as she slowly walked over to him and took a seat daintly beside him. Smoothing down her long white dress, Camelia then looked over at Stefan and gave an innocent smile. "Now now Stefan, what would your guests think if they walk in here and seeing you biting my neck?" she said pushing away some stray hair that had fallen around her neck revealing her pale white skin. Tilting her head to the side innocently then, she smiled. "But then again...I guess we could give those humans quite the show also."

The airplane ride from Russia had been uncomfortable for Natasha, to say the least. The young Russian had spent most of her time wedged between two overweight women, the nauseating scent of cheap beer and urine threatening to make her vomit on more than one occasion. The stewardess completely ignored her pleas for better seating, or even for a glass of water, and the entire trip Natasha had the nagging suspicion that someone was watching her ...

"And I rode first-class, too," she muttered as she stepped off the plane, stretching her stiff limbs. "I dare not think what flying coach is like."

Natasha only had one bag, and luckily it hadn't gotten lost or stolen during the flight. The young woman found a seat inside the tiny airport and pulled out the letter she had received. She thought she remembered something about a car coming to pick her up, but she wanted to make sure in case she needed to hail a taxi.

"Or whatever passes for a taxi in these god-forsaken lands," Natasha sighed.

Stefan's eyes began turning a red color at the sight of her exposed throat. His fangs extended over his lip. He tore his gaze away from her throat and looked up at her face. "I hate it when you tempt me. I can never resist you for long." He leaned forward and nuzzled her throat. Oh how tempted he was to sink his fangs into her throat and drink, but he had to keep in mind the humans that could arrive durring his feeding. He pulled away sharply and grabbed his glass. "If they found out we were vampires, they would run. I don't want them to run yet my dear." He turned back to her and caressesd her face before kissing her. "I'll have to wait until those humans are tucked away and sleeping."

Tyler stepped off the plane carefully, so as not to accidentally trip down the stairs, and looked around for his luggage. Knowing his luck the airlines probably lost it somewhere, he thought, but to his relief he spotted his brown duffle bag amongst the rest of the luggage and quickly grabbed it off the conveyer belt.

The plane ride had been a pleasant, if boring, one that was mostly spent either on the internet of his laptop researching Romania and Vlad's castle or napping. He was surprised at having received an invitation to the castle, having no idea what he could have possibly done to get recognition from these people, but he wasn't about to turn down a free trip to Romania. However, the letter seemed a bit... grim. His research hadn't turned up much, only that the surrounding locals thought it was haunted and it was currently owned by an unnamed person who liked to keep to himself. Odd.

He mulled over these thoughts as he sat in one of the waiting benches and waited for the rest of the "contestants" and the page to show up.
"If there is a greater power, why is it He can't get you a new sweater?" "Because He's too busy looking for your brain"

Natasha looked about nervously, trying to find someone to help her. She did not speak any Romanian, and very little English, and found herself to be at quite a loss. The young woman began to search the crowd for a friendly face that might be willing to help her out. Her eyes settled on a young man seated on a bench by the windows, and, with butterflies flitting about in her stomach, she hesitantly approached Tyler.

"Hello," she said to him in her best English, her accent quite heavy. "I was hoping you could ... help me with something, um, Sir?"

Hugh bounded down the steps of his plane four steps at a time. He was so excited it took all his self-control not to shout. He had dreamed of going to Romania ever since his dad had given him the book 'Dracula' for his tenth birthday. And now, not only was he in Romania, but he had also been invited to Vlad's Castle! He headed strait for the waiting area at full speed. His dad had been a cub scout leader and had helped him get everything he needed into one backpack, which he was currently wearing, so he didn't have any luggage to pick up.

The plane ride had been rather boring, but not unplesant. He had spent the first part of the ride reading and re-reading the letter he had gotten in the mail from Stefan and the last half sleeping, which might take part in why he had so much energy.

Once he had gotten to the waiting area, Hugh sat down on one of the benches, bairly out of breath even though he had ran rather far. Ignoring anyone else that might be around him, he pulled out the letter from his pocket, unfolded it, and read it again. "Six contestants..." he muttered to himself. "That means five other people... I wonder what they're like." He hadn't really thought about it until now. Nor had he really thought about the 'if you survive' part, but now that he was feeling a bit nervous that part really stood out.

Victoria reread the letter again as she got off the plane. It seemed really cool to be able to receive such an honored invitation. She walked towards the conveyor belt full of luggage and looked for her bag.Once she found it,she grabbed it and headed for the place where they were supposed to meet. She caught sight of the others and joined them.

The plane ride from Britain had been quite pleasant. She got a seat by the window and it was all she could ask for.The in-flight entertainment was okay, but she would rather read her book and listen to her ipod. However,it was still a comfortable flight.

When she reached where the other "contestants" were, she sat at a seat there and took out her book. With her earphones still plugged in her ears, she started reading.

So four other conestants have arrived Thead thinks to himself. Entering the souvenir shop he buys a little jack knife and a little mirror for his friends back home. After returning to the waiting area he quietly sits down out of sight of the others and catches a quick nap awaiting the last player to arrive.

Camelia looked up at him and smiled innocently. "Me...tempt you? Honestly Stefan I don't know where you get these ridiculous notions." she said waving her slender hand in the air as if to dismiss the idea. Looking over at him then, Camelia chuckled. "But my dear...this is the land of folklore and superstition. If these humans that you've invited know any better they should know what to expect." she said with a sigh."After all, not all humans are stupid...well I least I hope so." Shaking her head at the thought, Camelia then looked back over at Stefan and smirked. "Oh will you now? That is very honorable of you Stefan." Looking towards the door then, Camelia let out a small sigh. "I sure hope that they get here soon. I'm very anxious to...meet them." she said with a fanged smile.

Tyler looked up as Natasha nervously approached him. Her english was understandable, despite the heavy, he believed it was Russian, accent she had, and he wondered what she needed help with. He set aside the airline pamphlet he'd been reading and gave her a friendly smile. "Hello, and sure I'll try to do what I can. What is it you need help with, miss?" He wondered if maybe she was one of the 6 invites too.

"I am, how you say ... lost? No, not quite," Natasha replied nervously. "I receive letter, say I need to go to, um ... palace? Fortress? Castle? Something like that."

Silently, the young woman cursed herself. She was making a fool out of herself in a room full of strangers. None of them were likely to help her, she thought, beginning to feel downtrodden. Most likely someone would take advantage of her, probably mug her and possibly worse. Natasha sighed before continuing. She had to try, at least.

"I was hoping that maybe I could get directions to this castle ... this Vlad something ..." Natasha faltered with her words, and she hung her head low. "I'm sorry for, um, bothering you. I just ... go now."

Hugh's head snapped up as he heard Vlad's name. Quickly looking around, he spotted the girl who had said the name. She looked as though she might be one of the other five. Only one way to find out. He jumped out of his seat and placed his hand on Natasha's shoulder.

"Did you say you were going to Vlad's castle?" Hugh asked her. "If so stay with me, I'm going there too." He smiled up at her, holding up his letter as proof that he wasn't lieing.

Waking up here Thead hears the girls question to the guy. Walking up to them he says "you are both conestants to the same game this I know from her question and your letter is sticking out from your luggage." Finishing up the conversation he "we are supposed to wait here till the others arrive we have one left to show up so good day to you tell me when he gets here please."
Going back to his chair he awaits the last contestant to arrive.

Natasha felt a chill run up her spine as a hand placed itself on her shoulder. She knew it, she KNEW something like this would happen! The young Russian tightened her grip on her small bag as she let out a loud, high-pitched scream. Natasha twisted around, wildly swinging her bag at her "attacker's" head. It would not likely hurt him much, as it was only filled with clothes and paper, but she hoped it would give her a chance to get away.

"Eargh!" Hugh shouted, almost equally as loud, as the bag made contact with the side of his head. The force of the blow knocked his glasses off and they flew to the ground, cracking on contact with the floor. "He-Hey! Calm down! I didn't mean to scare you! I'm going to Vlad's castle, too!" He said, slightly paniced. He held his arms in front of his face to protect himself from anymore assaults from the bag.
